He pretended to ignore Erik's first comment but nodded in acknowledgment at his second comment. Jared hesitantly grasped Erik's hand in return and walked along with him, sharing the elephant ear and tucking his pop under his arm for latee. "So, which ride do you want to go on first?" he asked as they approached the entrance of the park where all the rides were located. They were just over half way down with the pastry, but Jared could see that they had time to finish since almost every ride and funhouse had a long line in front of them.

Erik laughed, "I don't know, I have never been to these things before." he said softly as he watched. He looked at all the rides and the lines, "It seems like we will be standing outside awhile." he smiled and leaned back on his heals as he looked a the line and took another bite of his piece of elephant ear.

Jared frowned and thought for a minute, glancing around at the rides around them. "How are you with spinning motions?" he questioned Erik, making a small, careful spinning motion with the plate that the elephant ear was on.

Erik chuckled softly, "Honestly? You want to see that elephant ear come back?" he asked with a smile, "I have always wanted to go on a ferris wheel, I always wanted to try it, I have seen it in movies and stuff." He looked at Jared and kissed his cheek softly, "If that's okay with you?"

Jared smiled and laughed when he heard his response. "Alright, no spinning," he agreed, nodding his head. When Erik asked about the Ferris wheel and kissed him , Jared went quiet for a moment. "Umm...Y-yeah, sure. W-Why not?" Jared finally agreed before turning to get into the line, which wasn't quite as long as the others. "Although, if your trying to replicate a movie scene... Well, most of them happen at night," he told Erik with a meaningful glance up at the sunny, afternoon sky.

Erik smiled, "We can make our own movie moment." he said warmly as he looked at Jared and headed to the Ferris wheel. He was excited to try something new, he stood in line and looked up at the ferris wheel, "I am excited for this." he admitted with a soft chuckle

Jared looked over at Erik and smiled. "You certainly seem excited," he replied, watching him admire the Ferris wheel. It was cute, the way Erik's eyes sparkled happily and his smile lit up everything around him. Jared was honestly surprised that Erik wasn't dating someone else at the moment, someone more popular and less shy than Jared.

Erik smiled happily, "Maybe we will even get stuck at the top, have a truly romantic moment to kick things off." he teased as he looked down at Jared as they slowly moved forward in line. "I know I move fast, but what is life if you don't grasp every moment it gives you?' he asked happily.

"Maybe," Jared replied, looking up at Erik before turning his gaze to the Ferris wheel and line of people in front of them. Unless his judgement was way off, it looked like they would be in the next group of people to get on. "Boring?" Jared joked as Erik became the focus of his attention once more. "But seriously, it's no problem. I get what you mean," he reassured, giving him a small half smile. He took Erik's hand and gave it a gentle squeeze.

Erik smiled as he looked at the other guy, "Exactly." he chuckled softly as he rocked back on his heels. He held Jared's hand for a moment before he lifted it to his mouth and kissed the back of it. He looked at the ferris wheel, "It really is like something out of a movie." he said.
