Jared shrugged when Dante glanced at him. If Erik didn't mind him staying, Jared wouldn't say anything. Dante kept packing up though. At the mention of food though, he looked up, his eyes and grin both bright. "You probably shouldn't have said that. I can't guarantee there will be much left for you two," Dante chuckled. He accepted some of the food with a grateful thank you and left them with a nod and light salute.

Erik chuckled, "Good thing I made lots." he said with a smile as he looked over at Dante, "I know who to call when I am trying out new foods eh?" he asked as he looked at Dante as he filled his plate. He handed one of the ones he washed this morning over to Jared with a warm smile. "I think I am going to be making friends with your friend here Jared, especially if I can use him as a guinea pig when I am cooking.' he teased Dante. He was acting like Just Jared's friend, that was the message he was getting from him, and he didn't mind.

Jared accepted the plate and chuckled at his boyfriend's teasing. "While Dante does eat anything and everything you put in front of him, he just happens to love Chinese food. That's why he's so excited about it." Dantes had nodded in agreement before he had left. Jared looked over at Erik once they were alone. "I'm sorry Erik. I would have warned you or waited to introduce you to him if I'd known when you were coming. He was the first person to really talk to me when I came here and we just hang out sometimes," he tried explaining, stumbling over his words some.

Erik chuckled as he watched, he kissed him softly to quiet him as he stumbled over his words, "It's okay Jared, I just kind of showed up, but I don't mind meeting your friends, even if it is just as your friend." he said with a smile, "As it is, he seems really nice, and I fed him, and still had a good amount left for us." he said as he smiled at Jared as they both held their plates of food. "I will remember to text you though next time, I don't want to give you a heart attack." he chuckled.

Jared felt a rush of relief that Erik wasn't mad at him and nodded in acceptance. He smiled as Erik promised to text him next time. "Well, I'm glad you met Dante and seem to like him. And I'm especially glad that we have plenty for us to eat," he said with another smile, lifting his plate slightly before wandering over to the couch where he had been sitting earlier. Jared looked over to see if Erik would join him.

Erik sat beside him and relaxed, he smiled as he ate, "So any plans for this weekend?" he asked him, studying him with a smile as he paused from eating to look at Jared happily, "What are the chances that Dante is going to come back for seconds?" he asked with a chuckle, even though he was serious, he could tell Jared seemed to want to keep them a secret for now.

Jared had begun eating as well, enjoying the food that tasted much better than anything he would have come up with for dinner. He shook his head as Erik asked if he had plans for the weekend, but chuckled along with him as he asked if Dante may come back for seconds. "I'm not sure, but I'd say they're pretty high, considering how amazing this taste." Jared tilted his head back onto Erik's shoulder to grin up at him.

Erik nodded as he watched, he smiled as he finished his, "Well I am glad you like it, Chinese food isn't my forte, but I thought I would try, since it'll leave you leftovers, so you won't starve." he said with a smile. "I am going to be gone until friday, so hopefully you'll be able to survive." he said, gently elbowing his side. "But this coming weekend I am going to make it up to you, if you don't have a lot to do for finals." he said.

Jared frowned with concern at the news that Erik would be gone for a few days and was about to ask if everything was alright when the other made a comment about him surviving. "I'll have you know I got along well enough before I was introduced to your pampering. I'll be fine for a few days," he huffed. His grin returned though, along with an excited sparkle in his eyes, at the promise of doing something that weekend. "I shouldn't have too much going on. And even so, I have to get along without you for a few days. What better distraction than school work and studying?" he asked with a light chuckle.

Erik watched and smiled lightly at him, "Oh sure you did, pizza and poptarts." he teased as he looked at Jared. "I am glad my leaving will give you an excuse to read." he teased as he leaned back on the couch and yawned, "I had a long day, the classes seemed to drag on." he said as he rubbed his face a little with a chuckle.
