"No, no, it's permitted, it's just a.... shock is all," Jared admitted. He started walking again at Erik's verbal nudge forward, but he was still shocked, and it left him slightly dazed. He shook his head, smiling softly, and tried to dampen down his 'marveling' as Erik had put it. A minute later he figured he was as back to normal as he could be and squeezed Erik's hand happily, enjoying the company of having him walk him to class.

Erik smiled and squeezed his hand back as they walked together, "I will probably see you after my afternoon classes" he finally said as they reached the building Jared's first class was in. "I will text you when I am done, so I don't just stop by and surprise you" he teased with a warm smile.

"Alright, I'll be expecting that text," he said with a smile. He let go of his hand and started towards the building, calling over his shoulder before he had gone more then a few steps. "I'll see you later Erik."

Erik smiled and waved, he relaxed and headed to his own dorm. He yawned softly and stretched, knowing he'd probably fall asleep soon.

Jared went through his classes. He sighed when they were issued a final paper in Comp, in Psychology they did partner work, he was happy to finally turn in the paper for Politics that he had been working on when he first met Erik, and he took notes until his hand was sore in Algebra, the professor still getting the last lesson in before the exam. He spent the breaks between classes inside, working on whatever work he had where he would be warm. Once one o'clock rolled around, he was glad to head back to his dorm and shortly before three, his friend Dante joined him and kept him company while he waited to here from Erik.

Erik knocked on the door around six, he held a brown bag in hand, since he had decided to bring dinner with him. He was hoping that Jared was in, since he wanted to surprise him, and texting him would have kind of ruined that surprise.

Jared frowned when he heard a knock on the door and paused the show that was playing on Netflix, despite Dante's protests. They had both been using the TV as an excusrnot to do homework. He got up and opened his door to find Erik standing there. "E-Erik! Hey!" he exclaimed, ignoring as Dante got off the couch and hovered behind him to see who it was. "I though you were going to text me...." That had been the plan he had been relying on, so he would know when to send his nosy, blonde haired friend on his way.

Erik was a little surprised at Jared's reaction, he glanced back and saw the friend behind him, "Yeah, sorry, I just wanted to stop in and drop you off some food." he said as he held out the bag of food to him. "I will be on my way, just didn't want you to starve." he said with a smile, although he was trying to figure this out.

Jared shook his head and reached down to tug on the other's wrist lightly. "You can come in. You just surprised me." He turned and shot Dante a look that pleaded for him to leave and come back later. The blonde seemed to get the hint and slowly began to gather up his stuff, naming an essay as his reason for leaving. "Erik, this is Dante. He's my friend and lives the next floor up," he introduced as Dante moved about the dorm. "Dante, this is Erik. I met him on my way to the library one day and we've been hanging out lately.

Erik waved, "Hey, well, I brought enough that he could stay." he said, he looked at Jared, trying to figure things out, "I don't let my friends starve, or friends of friends." he said as he watched Dante, "Or at least take some to go so you can eat while you write that essay." he said with a shrug as he set the bag on the counter and began unpacking it, "Hope you like Chinese food." he said as he looked at Jared and Dante with a smile.
