Jared shrugged and muttered another okay before finishing off his bowl. He rinsed it out quickly, thinking he'd wash it better later and took the few steps to his closet so he could pull out whatever was the first thing he saw. Today that was apparently a pair of jeans and a loose, light blue, long sleeve shirt. It worked for him.

Erik let him change in peace, humming as he washed Jared's dishes, he didn't really mind after all. He hoped Jared didn't mind him washing his dishes, he knew some people were particular, but Jared didn't seem like that type, so he thought he'd wash his dishes while he changed.

Jared was quick to change, but when he stepped back out and noticed Erik washing the dishes, he frowned slightly. "You know I could have taken care of that, right?" he asked, walking over to Erik and wrapping his arms around him. "But thank you for doing so."

Erik chuckled, "I can be useful." he said with a chuckle, he looked over and kissed his cheek, "Want me to walk you to class?" he asked happily as he looked at Jared, "Just hand holding of course."

Jared laughed at Erik's last remark and nodded as he pulled away to pull on some shoes and grab a jacket and his keys. "Sure, if you want to then that sounds fine." He stood and once they were both ready, took the other's hand in his.

Erik smiled as he held his hand and headed to class with him happily, "So what class is this?" he asked curiously as he walked with him. He couldn't remember what class Jared had this morning, even if Jared might have told him earlier.

"Comp," Jared answered with a shrug. This class wasn't too bad, they just had to write a ton of papers. And then after that I have Psychology, Politics, and Algebra." He looked up at Erik with a smile and held back a chuckle. He had warned him he had a busy morning. Each class was 45 minutes long with only about 15-30 minutes between each one. He usually didn't finish until nearly one o'clock, and then it took him another half an hour to get back to his dorm to drop of book and work and get something to eat.

Erik chuckled, "You are busy." he said with a smile, he kissed him and then quickly broke it when he remembered Jared's rule. He walked with him, their hands twined as they did so. "Sorry about that." he said, blushing a little as he did so, he hoped Jared hadn't minded, "When are you done work?" he asked as he looked over at him curiously.

Jared was nodding in agreement when Erik kissed him and he froze, startled. When the other pulled away, Jared took a deep breath and waved off the apology with a muttered "It's alright,". It took time for habits to change or break. He looked up to answer Erik's question when he saw the light blush on the other's cheeks. "Oh...um... no work tonight," he answered distractedly before stopping for a minute. "Erik.... are you blushing?" he asked the amazement and disbelief leaking into his voice. He had never been the other blush before, and his bafflement over this action took priority over everything else in that moment, even if it was such a small issue.

Erik chuckled and shrugged a little, "Maybe, why, is it not permitted?" he asked with a teasing smile as he looked at Jared. He tried not too blush more, he didn't really like wearing his emotions clearly. He usually was happy and care free, it was how he was after all. "Now come on, stop marvelling at blood rushing to my face, we need to get you to class." he said with a smile.
