Xander raises his hands up and sighed “Very Well. I’ll take you home.” He said softly. “But you have to promise me you’ll calm down. You are recovering from a lot and you can’t be under anymore stress. It’s worse for your memory. Do we have a deal?” He asked softly, opening the front door.

“Girl, a virtue and my sister killed themselves. It threw the little elemental off and crushed a part of him.” Dallen growled.
“Is that why? Nope, you in the back on the couch if you wanna stay. You need rest. I refuse to have you work if you’re elements are out and making you suffer.” He said firmly. Then he eyed Reese. “Lass were glad to have you back but we’re dealing with massive aftermath’s. My mother is dead, wonder if you saw that massive crater in the center of town, so now I’m holding the position of Wrath, his mother was kidnapped and tormented for four years, she justreturned in hell of a shape and he had to find someone to be bonded to. Ari went darkside for a bit, Kara is upset, and Andie is hurt. So, I’m sorry we’re not the levels of excited you want but we are all hurting right now.
Dallen sighed softly and pulled Vera close to him again. “Lets get out of here. Bryn send your friend to Xander if he doesn’t even out.” He said before vanishing.

“Ryder?” She asked, then growled. It cut off. She sat up and got dressed before vanishing. She stumbled a bit outside of Xander’s home, seeing the door open. “Ugh. Damn it.” She muttered than moved towards the door. “Father?” She called softly.
Xander pokes his head out “Ari? Sweetheart I did say to stay in bed, you’re pushing yourself a lot.”
“I know, but I was asked to check on Andie.”
“Umm.. not right now Ari. She’s not feeling well so I’ll walking her home.” He said out loud. ‘Her memory is fried and she’s extremely agitated.’ He thought to her.
“Ah, would she be ok with me checking her out before that?” She asked softly.
“Andie? Would you be ok?”

After sitting for a few minutes Zahir stood and walked back out to the bar and behind the counter mumbling "Right now I'm as elementaly as a normal human. Yesterday just burned everything out... Not like I can't work, just needed to sit for a minute before I endure another night of drunken morons" He then caught a glimpse of Reese and raised an eyebrow "huh you're actually back? I figured you were wiped out with your family. Well, congrats on staying alive kid" He then walked down the bar to help a few other people looking a bit out of it and completely void of his usual life that came from his elements.

Kai shook his head seeing Reese look so angry at Bryn before he waved silently and walked off to go find his sister. Once outside the cool air helped to completely rid his head of Lorelies remaining feeling letting him relax. His eyes had finally dulled to a golden rather than orange now as he looked around before walking off to check Kara's house first for his twin to check on her. He calmly slid his hands into his pockets as he walked and seemed at ease but he was completely aware of everything and everyone around him. After everything they'd been through lately he didn't really feel like letting his guard down much.


Vera hadn't once argued about leaving. A part of her was actually a bit uncomfortable at the bar for the moment, but that was mainly from everyone watching them so intently. Even those who didn't really know Vera other than as a teacher couldn't help but stare seeing her with Dallen and actually seeing her get close to someone.


Andrea had glared at Xander, once the door was open she moved outside quickly ignoring him and Ari as she stood there shaking and fighting to breath normal. Out here, she didn't feel trapped by someone she didn't know, but she felt vulnerable too. Her arms slowly wrapped around her middle as she looked around completely ignoring the two behind her and stared at the crater that had a pile of black rocks in it, which once held Alanna for 20 years. Her eyes saddened a bit feeling something still lingering in the crater but she wouldn't move closer to it feeling something in the back of her mind telling her to stay back. 'Who am i.....Why am I here? and.....why does it feel like.....something isn't right with me?'


Alanna had slowly pushed herself out of bed but winced a little. Despite all her moving around, she was still sore and a bit tired from being released from her 20 year imprisonment in the stone. After breathing slowly she stood up straight and walked to the bed room door where she poked her head out to see what was going on.

Xander sighed softly and rubbed his head “Ari...”
“Already on it Father, you go spend time with your girl in peace. I’ll handle it.” She said softly, vanishing again.
Xander grumbled and headed inside, shifting again to relax and plop on the couch, muttering about what he did to deserve the stress.

Ari reappeared a short distance away from Andie, frowning softly to see her friend in such a state. “Andie, I know you don’t remember me, but think we can talk?” She asked softly. “I just want to help you feel better and get you home safe. It’s not safe at all around her right now.”

Dallen readeared somewhere outside, huffing softly. “I apologize. I detest arrogant people.. and I apologize about Bryan remarks. Teasing is apparently how he copes.”

Eli sighed softly as she took off into the air, feeling a tad more relaxed but she wasn’t up to heading to town again just yet. Movement bellow caught her eyes, and she remembered that she had not eaten in awhile. She smirked a bit and dove down to snag some food.

Kara stared up at the cliffs that were onceher childhood home. She paced the area directly below the cave, pondering if she should go up there or not.

Bryn sighed. “If you feel off still I don’t want you worrying about working. Take a sick day my friend.” He said, twitching a bit with Reese’s anger. A glass suddenly shattered from heat, making him swear. “Damn it, not again.... I may have to switch to iron if this keeps up.”

Alanna frowned seeing Xander look so stressed. She slowly walked towards him trying to ignore the screaming pain in her body from every move she took and stopped beside the man she loved. With a wince she sat beside him and tilted her head a bit wondering what was going on.


Andrea stayed silent but tightened her arms around herself a little feeling off being here. She shuddered a bit as she stood there still staring at the crater. There was a soft voice in the back of her head whispering for her to get away from the other girl, that she wasn't safe with her and she would try to change her for the worse.

Ryder's eyes began to crack open but they were completely black. His fingers twitched faintly again before they stopped once more. He was pushing to return to his body but it was an extremely slow process.


Vera shuddered hard and gripped her head feeling dizzy when they were outside and sighed "would you rather he do that or go on a rampage?". She blinked hard a few times to clear the spots from her sight before glancing up at dallen. Part of her still felt like an idiot for saying anything, but she didn't regret it. She'd just never, in all of her existence, felt love for anyone or any thing, so this was a whole new thing to her.


Kai stopped near Kara's house, but when her scent there wasn't fresh he sighed muttering "bloody women " before he turned away to head towards Ari's. Although it would have been easier to reach across their twin bond to find her, he hated doing it. Kai liked his privacy in his head, and knew Kara did as well, unless it was him trying to 'talk' to her when he didn't feel like actually talking. Kara had been the only one he'd let into his head all his life, and that was mainly because it was almost impossible to block out his twin, but now he had Eli there too and it was a bit annoying to him. Unlike with Kara there was virtually no way to keep Eli from digging through his mind if she ever wanted to...or forcing him to actually talk which he'd found the hard way.


Zahir had rolled his eyes listening to Bryn then walked back towards him when he was done filling orders "you're one to talk hot head. If what the old man said is true you're gonna need to leave and get all your crap under control. Otherwise you just might lose your bar one night. We both know how the people here can't control their emotions, especially when they're drinking." He caught Reese leaving from the corner of his eye and shrugged it off. He'd been through enough lately that he didn't feel like dealing with a Neko who no one had see in years.


Reese stood outside and smirked a bit with her shorter tail twitching faintly. "Well well. If things are playing out the way she said they would this should get interesting. Guess I should try to find the reject first though". With a smile that seemed fit only for a Cheshire cat she vanished with a purr.

Ari leaned against a tree. She looked exsausted, worn to the bone, but she still gave a friendly, happy smile. “Andie it’s ok. May I show you something to assure that I mean you know harm?” She asked. She pulled out a little leather flap and held it out to her, letting a film of canvas like pictures fall. “Here, a few pictures of us, Xander, and our little group of odd balls.” She said softly. “You came to us about... oh eight years ago or so?” She said, trying to remember how long it’s been. “You clicked with these two pains in my arse, the Twins Kara and Kai, here’s Bryn, and a few others.” She said softly. “Andie I’d never hurt you for anything we’re like family. Common let me lead your other home, since you clearly don’t remember you’re... well boyfriend I guess. Can’t take you to that home.” She said softly. She gently took hold of her necklace, ‘Love please don’t push yourself. I’m still lending you my energy as well remember? You push it takes a toll on both of us.’

Xander used his still to gently pull her into his arms. ‘It’s a hassle running this town. Doesn’t help that the Sins are... well most of them are here.’ He huffed. ‘Everyone’s emotions and powers are off because of that.’

“Not his style. Did that once and he took half a forest with him. Fortunetly that’s how I was able to find him at the same time.” He said, “So now he pokes fun, and since he and Xander operate like brothers I’m usually at the rear of their jests.” He sighed, then chuckled, putting an arm around her waist. “Boys are a pain to handle, but enough about my boys, what do you desire to do?”

‘You’re in mine too, but I’d like to apologize for that earlier, I didn’t mean to force you. It makes me as uncomfortable as you.’ Eli’s voice chimed in softly. ‘If you’re looking for your sister inspired her below the cliffs... think she’s pondering if she is ok to visit your mother now judging by her pacing.’


“Actually it’s a lot better than before... this is me bairly trying to contain it and without Dallens assistance.” He said, “my mother’s greatest gift I guess. With holding her position I’ve had more control over this blasted flow than in my entire life time.” He wiped the shards into the trash and huffed. “Just gotta get used to the feeding off others anger now. You on the other hand are drained, I’ll give you today off to rest and relax.”

Andrea glared at Ari and clenched her fists "Just leave me alone!!" She hurried away from Ari still shuddering a bit but froze seeing a pair of glowing bright green eyes a little ways away in the woods. "You're such a disgrace." Andrea stood there before her body started hurting and feeling like she wasnt supposed to be here. Karma slowly walked towards Andrea frowning a bit before her eyes fell to Ari and hardened. 'great....his stupid bird is here too...'
There was a faint pulse from the necklace before Ryders body suddenly appeared nearby kneeling and giving off a darker energy than he ever did before. 'No....I can't sit back anymore.....' As his body stood and his eyes opened they were completely black aside from his green slit pupils. He could sense Andrea's situation was getting a bit out of hand and knew if Ari couldn't break through on her own to the girl, he'd have to push free and deal with the situation on his own.


Alanna frowned and rested her head against Xanders chest only to feel a burning growing in her chest and felt her control of her light slipping once more but she tried to push it off and just clung to Xander silently.


Vera chuckled and shook her head " Thats just how kids are supposed to be. But at least you know they care about you" Her eyes lifted to the sky as she let herself be drawn closer to Dallen. "Honestly....nothing. Getting turned human has been an exhausting experience, but trying to sleep just isn't working right now." Her eyes flicked to Todd hearing his voice not far off.
"Look! Its the stupid wh### of the school who lost her job and the nut of the forest!" Vera's eyes hardened a bit listening to him and mumbled "He changed his tune pretty fast from being at my door" As Todd came walking over to the she felt something was off with him but stood her ground beside Dallen. "Seriously Todd? Who dropped you on your head recently to give you such a mood swing? Or is it your time of the month now?"
Todd smirked darkly before smacking Vera across the face hard enough her lip split and the sudden pain shocked her into silence.


Kai remained silent before sighing and shaking his head. He then changed course easily and walked into the forest keeping his hands in his pockets and ignoring the people watching him as he walked.


Zahir waved his hand dismissing Bryn trying to get rid of him for the night and leaned against the bar watching the others who were there. "Getting control over all of it should be your main concern right now Bryn. Especially if you want your little bars guardian to come back and be in one piece around you when you two....well ya know" He then cleared his throat and glanced at Bryn from the corner of his eye. He'd made the mistake the night Andrea had 'slept' with Bryn to walk up to the apartment since Bryn had the only key there at the time to get into one of the registers. Back when there was a girl working the bar with Zahir who had been caught stealing. Seeing his boss and friend together had been burned into his brain for a while now, and it was something he could never unsee.

Bryn looked down and sighed. “Well no need to fret about that for awhile.” He said quietly. He placed the last of the glass away and sighed. “She’s not Well. Doesn’t remember me.”

“You’re welcome.” Eli added softly. “Also, if you get hungry let me know. I got an extra deer here... hope all is well.” She added before trying to put some space between them.

Dallen whipped forward and grabbed the man by the throat with ease and tossed him to the side, hissing lowly. “Don’t ever touch her again.” He said lowly. His skin and bones started cracking as he fought not to shift in town. He was furious, but not willing to cause panic just yet. He moved to Vera and gently took her face into his hands. “Are you Alright?”

Xander softly brushed her hair back. ‘If it bothers you so maybe Ari can teach you better control? She still is tied to the light, strangely.’

“She is not.” Ari growled lowly, moving forward and stood in front of Andi. She eyed towards Ryder’s direction and frowned. ‘You come here now you’ll damage her more. Calm down first. I can get her back if you trust me.’ She thought sharply. “Back off, this doesn’t concern you.” She said lowly.

Vera winced a little at Dallens touch from teh slight pain it caused her cheek but she put her hands ontop of his and closed her eyes just trying to relax from his bodies warmth "I'm fine Dallen. Really." She slowly opened her eyes again and looked at Todd who was slowly standing up and laughing a bit which made her feel a bit more on edge "Though I dont think HE is" She then turned her eyes back to Dallen and smiled softly and ran her hands from his up to his face whispering "Dallen its ok. Relax"


Zahir rolled his eyes and shook his head "So what? You just give up? Stick it out and fight for what you want. So what she can't remember right now? It's not THAT hard to bring back memories if the person really wants to remember you." He then pushed off the bar when a woman flagged him down for a drink, once he filled it he walked back up to Bryn and leaned against the counter again.


Alanna shook her head slowly 'It seems....it only gets like this....when something's near...that isn't exactly the best kind of creature....'

Karma narrowed her eyes at Ari before a chain shot out towards her and Andrea but was stopped suddenly by her father.
Ryders body moved forward calmly never even making a sound on the ground until a black chain shot forward stopping one of Karma's. His head tilted slowly before he vanished again and reappeared behind his full blooded reaper daughter.
Karma stood there completely still and paled when Ryder's body spoke with a disembodied voice that sounded more demonic than anything she'd heard from him before "The girl will remember in time. But she needs to keep her emotions in balance or she'll be coming home with us." He smiled a dark smile and grabbed the back of Karmas neck making her breathing stop as her fear spiked before the ground rumbled a little as the two vanished.

Andrea stood there looking pale as a ghost as feeling like she was going to be sick with how much the man before the had terrified her.

Xander chuckled softly ‘there are quite a few, but you shouldn’t have to stress over a few that can be handled by others.’ He said softly. ‘There are also creatures of darkness here, besides yours truely. Like Aris... mate.. for example.” Grumbling out the word with an intent glare off into space. He sighed and chuckled half heartedly. “He’s a Reaper, one of the leaders of town as well. Not a bad guy either, unless someone attacks him, Ari, or his halfling.”

Ari sighed and rubbed her head. “He has no patience.” She said softly, then looked at andi. “It’s alright, Ryder wouldn’t hurt you, or anyone that doesn’t threaten him or his family.” She said, taking her by the hand. “He wanted to protect you while you’re weakened, he ignored my advice to make sure we were ok.” She gingerly placed her other hand on her shoulder. “Common, Let’s leave before someone else like Karma stumbles by.”

Bryn looked at him. “It wasn’t until this morning, Alana said it’s best to stay back when she’s this emotionally unstable. Somethings wrong with what she is, too much power surges and draining. I won’t stress her more until either she or Ari can help her, or her idiotic father steps in.”

Dallen growled softly, brushing away a bit of her blood. “No it’s not. People should not attack you for no reason.” He said firmly. He sighed softly and pressed his head against hers. “But if your wish is for me to refrain from tormenting him then I won’t.” He sighed, “let’s go home before I cause some havoc.”

Vera smiled softly and kisses dallen silently agreeing to leave. Despite the pain it caused her from her split lip it made her relax and as she kissed him the rest of the world seemed to melt away. Including Todd who was suddenly snarling and beyond enraged when he watched Vera kiss dallen.


Alanna frowned slightly and touched xanders cheek but shuddered when the pull suddenly vanished from her light when Ryder vanished outside. She slowly pulled her legs up onto couch and rested her head on xanders shoulder sighing softly. She was getting a bit of a headache now but didn't care to leave her love. She then closed her eyes again and just breathed in her loves scent. 'i just can't stop it around him I guess.... something about the way he is triggers my light'


Andrea jerked away from Ari and panted softly feeling sick and whispered shakily "stop it......"as her head started feeling like it was ripping in half vague images of memories began to slam into her mind but they weren't coherent in the slightest and just made her more confused.


Zahir shrugged and just stayed where he was watching the patrons of the night "it's your choice. Something's gonna give eventually but that doesn't mean it's gonna be a desired result all the time. Why not get her energy drained from her so she's pretty much nothing more than a human? It'd do everyone a world of good and you could stop stressing so much"
