The men smirked seeing Bryn as a shifter who looked a lot like Jake slowly walked into the bar smiling darkly "oh come on, don't be such a poor sport."

Andrea stiffened hearing the voices carrying up to the apartment. Jake's twin brother was a lot worse than Jake had been, and was one of the main reasons she was in the state she was now. Unable to stop herself she shot off and headed down towards the bar.

Bruce chuckled as the men who'd broke down the door stumbled around. "Now. We could make this end quickly, and the humans will even fix your little hovel up. All you have to do, is hand over the drunken w****"


Kai nodded slightly and lightly touched his nose against Arielles cheek before standing up again and breathing slowly. He hadn't been to that old cave on ages, but he had a job to do and someone to help.


Vera's breathing was shaky and soft, but noticeable. She shook a bit but stayed quiet. Her mind was plagued with images of a cave, blood, and a ways away, she saw detached wings without the bone inside them anymore to give the wings their actual shape and structure.

Dallen tilted his head, smelling a whiff of fear. He placed his hand on Vera's, and started seeing what she saw. His eyes widened, looking rather horrified. "Katra...."

"Thank you." She said softly and scratched his chin. "Good pup." She added with a playful smirk, she then looked at Kara. "Do you think you can check up on Z?"
Kara sighed and shook her head. "He lost it again didn't he?"
Ari nodded softly making Kara sigh again. "I'll go check on the idiot..." She said then took off into the skies again.

Bryan's eyes seemed to brighten as he growled out. "Now... I do not take kindly to people insulting my friends." He pulled out something that looked like a smoke bomb and pulled the pin. "Have fun." He said lowly and threw it. Once away from his hand, the smoke bomb exploded into the air, showering the men in silver dust before Bryn aimed his crossbow.

Bruce hissed loudly and jerked back as his fangs slid down.
Andrea slammed into Bryn's back and wrapped her arms around him before yanking him back.

The men who were dunk looked around confused before one noticed Andrea and hiccuped before stumbling towards her and Bryn.


Vera's mind flashed to metal cages were there were children growling and looking towards her smiling darkly before her mind went black.


Kai snorted before crouching down so the others could put the dragon on his back.


Ryder slowly walked over to them with his eyes still locked in the direction Luna went.

Ari raised the dragons head up with a huff, getting her onto Kai's back before she let magic take care of the rest. "Alright, get going before the Lightning comes back."

Dallen looked towards Vera sadly. "You gave us a rather large hint on her location... Thank you." He said softly.

Bryn looked rather surprised before moving out of Andies grip. "Andie get back upstairs and lock the door. I got the blundering idiots."

With a slight nod Kol took off. As he flew a second set of wings slid of of his side. He'd kept them a secret from everyone, even his family. He knew perfectly well how to control his wings and often kept them hidden unless he absolutely needed the extra boost. With his 4 wings out he flew through the air with ease and moved quickly. To him, the dragon on his back wqasnt all that heavy, but he knew that wouldn't last, not once they got closer to his father's old cave.


Vera kept shakily in her sleep with a cold sweat covering her body. The images she'd seen kept replaying in her mind. She'd seen katra lose a leg once, and saw through katras eyes as she was partially blinded, but whenever she woke up, the visions left her mind leaving her at peace with her own life, never knowing her dreams were katra pushing through the mark to her.


Andrea yanked Bryn back as the man stumbling towards them fell forward passed out. She closed her eyes tightly whispering "Bryn don't"

The other two men were stumbling around but looked like they could pass out any minute.
Bruce snarled and in a blur appeared in front of Bryn with silver still burning his eyes. When he went to cut bryns face with his nails Andreas arm shot in the way.
With a crazies laugh Bruce shot out of the bar and into the rain.

Andrea slowly pulled away with her eyes closed and breathed shakily.



Ryder walked over to Arielle when Kai left and chuckled seeing Kai's second set of wings. "The boy never ceases to amaze. Too bad he picked your side angel. He could have been a lot of fun to train, much like his mother was". His slightly smile hew had fell when he looked odd in the direction Luna had went " I'm not so sure you can trust the girl though. Not anymore "

Dallen pat her hand, softly. 'You're mate is on his way Pup." He muttered softly, then stood up, moving to the bathroom.

Arielle rolled her eyes. "You and he are a lot alike, broody, sarcastic, cranky, but with super squishy hearts." She smirked, but sighed. "I didn't know her for long, but she was close to the others, seeing a familiar face might help get through to her if she returns. The way she looked has me very worried."

Bryn yanked Andies arm away. "Damn it Andie. You shouldn't have came down."

Andrea stood there silently with her head turned away. She moved silently around Bryn and headed for the doors. She'd been screamed at so many times by Jake, that anymore people she cares about yelling at her hurt, but she'd quit fighting back until she started drinking.


Zahir was sitting on the roof of his apartment building breathing slowly looking bored as the rain fell, though it was a lot lighter than before.


Kai glanced back at his passenger a few times as he flew to see how she was, but kept himself focused. He flinched as he crossed into his mother's old forest area. Death and decay hit his nose hard but he kept flying. His eyes slid towards where the old village once stood and his stomach turned. In the middle of the crater that was once the village were 3 bodies still encased in a stone like substance. The old elven woman who'd been a slave for a long time, the dark elf who appeared and used his mother, and the human Alana locked in a battle that would never end. Alana had broken the hold she'd been under and fought along side rayne trying to save the village, but it ended in nothing but ruin. He let out a low rumble before he flew up towards his father's old den.


Vera trembled before katras weak voice echoed from her 'run....'


Ryder rolled his eyes and rested an arm on Arielles head to avoid her wings then spoke lowly "I din think even a friendly face will help her."


Luna was walk-in through the forest calmly when a vampire shot up to her. The woman slid to a stop short of Luna shaking in terror before backing away quickly. She'd thought she'd found a human foolish enough to enter the woods but when she got closer, the scets coming off the woman before her made the vampiress rethink her opinion of Luna.
With a flick of Luna's wrist the woman screamed and vanished into a pile of ash, sitting in the middle of it, was a needle that glistened slightly. Luna then continued walking as her eyes glowed slightly.

"It's a hopeful thought Ryder... You should try it on occasion." She said as she looked around, "common, let's let some of the creatures near relax a bit." She said, retracting her wings and walking back to the border. She looked towards the direction of the old village for a moment, her heart sinking a bit before sighing sadly. She had been looking for a way to help the human for a very long time, with her trapped, Xander has never been the same, he seemed hollow now. She feared about him loosing his soul, and feared what would happen if an attempt failed. She shook her head and growled, grumbling about Dallens abilities.

Dallen returned after a moment wrapping his wrist, surprised by the she-wolfs voice. "Katra?"

The dragon winced a bit, opening her eyes with death in her nose. "What... Where am I?"

"Hey Zee." Came a voice from behind. Kara stood there in human form and rung out her hair. "Ari told me what happened... How are you doing?"

Bryn grabbed her hand and pulled her back, scooping her up and plopping her on the counter. "Do remember that I'm a guard? I can handle punks like him, and by God Andie, he won't stop till he gets you, or I put the fear of God into him. Let me see the wound." He grumbled before taking her arm, the laugh unsettled him, a lot. "You should have listened to me lass, I was trying to keep you safe."

Andrea stayed quiet but pulled her arm back slowly not meeting his eyes. This was the side of herself Andrea kept hidden, and drank to conceal on her bad days.


Ryder chuckled listening to arielle and wrapped an arm around her shoulders pulling her close "you know me better than that, I don't do hopeful. Not anymore.". As they walked Ryder never looked back. He'd known Alana only because of xander, and knew all too well what this would eventually do to him. He slowly glanced at Arielle before looking ahead of them again. As they drew near the town he slowly retracted his arm from Arielles shoulders.

Vera shook hard before she jerked forward and threw up a black thick mass that resembled katras mark. She slowly opened her eyes and breathed shakily as the images vanished from her mind that katra had been sending.


Luna smirked as she walked through the town slowly.


Kai looked back at her from the entrance of the den with only a single set of wings showing anymore 'safe'


Zahir looked over his shoulder at kara and shrugged then sighed " you sure you wanna be around me kiddo?"

She rolled her eyes and sat beside him. "Of course, you calling me kid insures that I stick with you to bug you." She smiled softly. "Wanna talk about it?"

The dragon hissed a bit, but looked up at Kai with a raised brow. "Why did you bring me here? Even keep me alive?"

She rolled her eyes a bit and smirked. "eh, you hoped you'd be a leader of darkness, o crabby one. Hope for others isn't too much of a stretch."

Dallen looked rather surprised, "Vera? Are you awake?"

"Andie let me see invade he did something to you.... Please?" He said softly.
