Ryder turned his head to look over his shoulder "which of your foolish light friends entered this time?"
The others all started twitching until they felt a surge of power coming from Ryder making them all shoot off away from Ryder, arielle, and andrea.

Andrea winced at every single touch and movement but pushed herself away from Arielle and staggered off a bit. She felt exhausted, and tired of the way she felt. Despite the energy she felt her body was still burned and she couldn't see out of her left eye thanks to the gasoline and a few other chemicals she'd had on her.

Vera panted shaking hard "I'm.....f......fine...." She slowly looked at the black marks bleeding through her skin and shut her eyes tightly as tears began to form in her eyes.


Kai's head whipped up hearing thunder rolling loudly and notices dark clouds rolling in. The air felt odd, but that only made him a bit more cautious. He stopped walking on his way back to work seeing Vera's front door open and smelling dallen. 'Oh now what??' He sighed softly and slowly walked over to her house to find out what had happened. He trusted dallen enough, but knew he could be real danger to humans, even without trying. Most demons that were as strong as him, or Kai and Kara's parents, were usually dangerous to humans simply because humans were so fragile.


Carla snarled and slowly lifted her wolf eyes to glare at Dean and growled out "I didn't let you in to play twenty questions". Her voice sounded more demonic and wolven than it should in her human form, but she wasn't feeling her best. She had the two steaks warm in no time and left one for him if he wanted before walking back into the living room and seeming to curl in on herself on a recliner that had a very faint scent left of her brother.

[She~Wolf]

"Well you took off at the sight us last night,and the fae at my store. I'm rather curious about you." He said softly. He tilted his head and sniffed the air. "Someone else around?"

"He's neutral, an elementist, Zahir. He went bonkers when the shifters tried to set fire to the house again."

Dallen frowned softly and moved into the room, sitting besides Vera and taking her hand. "You are far from fine... Now let's see what's really wrong." He said softly.

Ryder groaned softly "not him again... Get the human out of here. I'll find your elemental basket case". His wings shot out again and with a sigh he shot off into the sky to look for zahir. This wasn't the first time zahir had crossed over, and it wasn't his first time going nuts either, Ryder already knew what he had to do, but dealing with zahir was never any fun, it was just a pain.


Carla growled lowly as she ate but stayed quiet otherwise. She was fighting the urge she had to shift and tear into Dean with all she had before she mumbled " no"


Kai slid into Vera's and stopped at the bedroom door seeing blood on the door, Vera sitting topless on her bed with jagged black markings showing through her skin, and dallen sitting beside her "mind explaining what's going on here?"
Vera's eyes snapped open as a single tear rolled down her cheek and whipped her head around to stare at Kai. She shuddered hard and whispered out "nothing.....sir...."

"Sooooo you're just taking the shirt off for everyone now??? Come on Vera that's not you." His eyes slowly turned orange as he looked at the two before him. He didn't care much, but the blood, smell of toxin, and the sight of Vera had him confused.

[She~Wolf]

"Oh please pup. It's not like I see anything with my own eyes." Dallen huffed softly, wiping his hands. "Honestly I had no idea, but my focus was on the poison and her distress." He said, putting his hand over her back and growling a bit before a bit of the toxin was drawn out. "Huh... Quiet a nasty concoction... It's amazing you survived the night." He said before wiping his hands. "Pup, do be so kind as so get her a shirt instead of scaring her. She's had a hard enough time with a school run by Pride and a murdurous ex." He huffed softly. "She needs to rest and focus on continuing her fight."

Dean raised a brow, then a thought clicked in his head. "Oh." He said with a soft voice. "Makes since now."

"Hey hot head!" Arielle called, throwing something up in the air. "A gift from my father, helps with Beserkers.." It was a cylinder made of ancient stone, a cap screwed tightly on one side with demon runes etched into the side. "One of these had the ability to calm down The Bat, I think it should work for Zee with less than half." She said, before continuing with Andie.

Kai shook his head and walked into the room then her closet but jerked back when he went to reach in before looking at the little collection of different herbs and slowly glared at Vera.
Vera breathed shakily and whispered "I can't die thast easily" she struggled to stand and went to hear closer closing the little hideaway which let Kai and any other creature into her closet again. Kai caught her when she stumbled then looked harder at the marks before slowly looking at Vera "she sent you....to"
"To watch over you two.....yes.....it's not something I'm proud of Kai....."
Kai growled lowly before snarling "where-"
"I don't know.... It's not like I can feel her, or know anything, all I know is your mother marked me and forced me here alright?!"
Vera shook a bit then lowered her head "you both need to leave.....now...."


Carla stayed quiet. As snew finished eating she was able to push her wolf back down again. She stood slowly and moved past Dean keeping her distance. A part of her was curious what he thought he'd figured out, but a majority of her just wanted too get back to finding a job and getting on with her life.


Ryder caught the cylinder easily before shooting off.

Andrea pushed Arielle off her again as she walked away slowly. Her mind was blocking a lot out, to the point all she wanted was to go home alone, despite not having a home anymore.

Arielle sighed softly and shook her head. "Running off was foolish Andie. You had us all worried sick about you."

"So.. Would you still take the job?" Dean asked.

"As you wish Vera, call if you need anything." Dallen said softly, pulling Kai out of the house.

Andrea shook a bit then spoke lowly "I never....asked it..". Once they were clear of the dark territory and into the neutral part of the town she walked off towards an alleyway. A black cat shot out of a dumpster to her left and growled but stopped seeing who it was and purred an odd sounding purr before looking towards Arielle and growling softly.


Carla whispered " no" as she washed her dishes before leaning against the sink and closing her eyes.


Vera stayed where she was until she heard the front door shut, she then fell to her knees on the floor and clenched her jaw shut feeling all of the poisons from her ex being pushed out of the black marks on her torso. She quickly doubled over fighting a scream and dug her nails into her leg.


Kai growled deeply once they were outside before walking off with his orange eyes glowing brightly in the darkening town. Thunder crashed loudly overhead, but he didn't care. Kai had a few things he had to get deal with. He called into his work and took the rest of the day off before ending the call and fighting to not break the phone.

A firm hand was placed on Kai's shoulder. "Your mother is alive, where, we don't know... But she may very well be in hiding." Dallen said. "Dont let your fear of abandonment blind you. Katra was very protective of you two once you were born. She never let you out of her sight for a second, even when you thought she did. She will return once she's able to... Go for a run, your tempers flare like Rage himself." He said, then continued walking towards the forests.

Dean raised a brow "May I ask why? You don't seem to like people at all, you seem to trust no one, it'll be very hard finding something else where you can sit away from people all day."

"It doesn't matter if you did. You have friends who didn't sleep at all worried about you, you nearly died Andie because you refused to confide with your friends." She said, then glared at the cat. "Common, we all pitched in to get you something... And it might just make you feel better." She said softly.

Andrea sat down in the alley on an old box and shook her head a bit. The cat jumped off the dumpster and hopped into Andreas lap before hissing loudly at Arielle. Andrea stayed quiet as she closed her eyes trying to block out the pain, and the empty feeling she had inside.


A loud thud came from behind Arielle as Ryder landed with an unconscious zahir over his shoulder. He then walked off grumbling about elementalist being annoying. Once into neutral territory Ryder always lost his wings, but could do nothing about his horns. He usually tried avoiding the humans during the day because he didn't need all the screaming that usually came with human women seeing the horns he couldn't hide. "Leave the girl. If she wants to move around let her. She's been through enough hardship for a while that she probably just wants her own space ares". He kept walking trying to remember exactly where zahir lived but was drawing a bit of a blank.


Carla breathed slowly " I said......no....". She could never tell others about how much she hated Kai, kara, and their parents, or how they all smelled like death to her. Though kara hadn't been on yet, once she shifted, Carla knew kara worked there, and she was worse around the 2 hybrids than she was just wolves.


Kai growled deeply back at dallen but walked off again. It didn't take him long to reach the bookstore his sister worked at. He slid inside and fought to dull his eyes again and figfht back the irrigation be felt.


Vera screamed after a few minutes as the poison kept getting pulled out of her body slowly. The black marks on her body pulsed slightly !making her scream louder.

Kara sat into of one of the shelved, fingering through books. She stopped feeling a shiver go up her spine just before her brother entered. "Well, someone's out and about." She muttered, putting the book away.

"May I ask why?... Is it because of your afraid of my pack?... Or Kara?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.

"It's really hard to do that because last time we did, she was found burned alive in your territory Ryder." She said with a low growl before rubbing her head. Arielle sighed and shook her head, "Bryn will be looking for you. Make it easier by going home." She said as she tossed a set of keys by her friend. "Everything has been replaced, the cheater is gone... Make it easier on the guy by being there when he comes to make sure your still alive." She said, then looked at Zahir. "Idiot..." She muttered softly, she sighed and rubbed her head. "Why... Must I be the one babysitting everyone..." She muttered
