the commander was pleased when octavia took the dagger from her. sure, nadezhda could be a bit too protective at times but it was all to make sure people that she loved didn't get hurt. if something was going to go wrong, she wanted octavia to be able to defend herself. she nodded. "ill try my best," she told her calmly. if she was being truthful, it was hard for nadezhda to do anything but fight. she had been born a fighter. the moment she was taken to polis to be trained by the past commander, she knew she would always fight, no matter what. she looked ahead at clarke speaking to some of the other sky people. she looked over at octavia for a moment, wondering if she should say something to get clarke's attention.
