"You have to work tomorrow," Jaycee said, even though she had work too. She had found a small job working as a paper delivery person. Though she only worked early in the morning she felt like Max's job was more important.

"I'll call in. I haven't yet on the whole three years of working there, I'm sure they'll understand. And you have to work too," he said.

"Your job brings in a lot more than mine, and I can handle getting up early to do my paper route," she said.

He looked at Kimberlee.

Kimberlee had fallen asleep without drinking her bottle that Jaycee had put baby pedialyte in. Since she kept throwing up and soiling her diaper, she was get dehydrated and the pedialyte helped her stay hydrated while also making her feel a bit better.

Max sighed, rubbing her back.

Jaycee sighed. "I need you to give her the bottle," she said.
