[Darkanra]

Loki's eyes narrowed.
"They wouldn't blow up their own!"
The cannon made a loud click.
"Maybe they would..."
Loki threw up a bright green barrier in front of himself and Thor as the cannon fired. But this was no ordinary cannon, they soon saw as red energy fired towards the two Asgardians, seeming to target only them.
Loki grunted as it hit his shield, green meeting red. The energy kept coming and Loki found his barrier slowly moving backwards. He poured all his energy into maintaining the rapidly cracking barricade.
"Thor... Any bright ideas?"

[_Sherlock_]

"Would energy from the other direction help your shield because I could, for lack of a better word, lightning-ify this side?" Thor asked, calmly twirling Mjolnir. The magnitude of events washing over him completely.

[Darkanra]

"Not really. You will just...put...strain on this...side."
Loki gritted his teeth as the barrier was forced further back, smaller cracks spreading across it.

"Then... I could hide Mjolnir and you could, I don't know, sit on your hands so when we are taken we have our powers." Thor looked grave but then a mental image popped into his head, "granted I would look more dignified but..." Without waiting, Thor threw his hammer into the pipes that both he and Loki had come out of. It was a good 50 meters.

[Darkanra]

"I'm not getting caught again!"
Loki cancelled the barrier before turning into a sleek black snake, gliding under a grill in the floor.
"Dignity, always dignity."
It muttered.

Thor ignored the jibe and stepped quickly on the Loki-snake's tail, "Brother, you are still a prisoner, you will not be going anywhere without me." With that he bent down to pick up the end of the snake and the red blast hit him in the chest.

Loki had turned back into Loki when the red energy had hit Thor, travelling down the God of Thunder's arm and into Loki.
Loki's eyes rolled back as sparks danced over his twitching form.
Then everything went black. Again.

Thor woke up in a lot of pain and surrounded by armoured elves pointing sharp things at him. His vision was blurry but he could see that much.

Loki groaned slightly, lying on his side with his arms encircled by chains.
No simple cuffs this time.
His eyes opened blearily, then shut.
Dammit. More stupid elves with their stupid spears. And Thor. Whenever I'm in a bad situation, Thor is always there too. Damn.
"Thor and Loki. The Prince of Asgard, and the Nine Realm's most notorious trickster."
Malekith's voice reverberated around the room.
"I've been waiting."
Damn.

Meanwhile Thor was thinking along the same lines, except the part about him or the cuffs part. He sat up to see Malekith as every Asgardian knows that it is polite to look at the person you are about to insult and/or kill in the face. "Malekith, you always know how to make your guests feel welcome." Gesturing around him to the sharp objects, his close vision hadn't properly returned yet.
