Taivil chuckled slightly at Duallens words and smirked when Nivallia spoke. "Oh Ill make a sign, but I have another idea too. Ill explain it later though..."

Pallon gently moved his hand to rins cheek to guide her gaze to his. "There is nothing to forgive, sweetheart. You told me off, and I needed to hear it. Thank you for that." He smiled lovingly at her and rested his forhead against hers. He gently brushed back Liams hair as the toddler hugged him, though his gaze never left Rin. "...Were going to have another baby..." He was unable to hide his grin as he spoke, the joy clear in his eyes.

"Is that so? Well maybe I can help change that. Were just living our own story, Quail. If its a lie then I dont care because it still means that Im here." Cali turned to lean against the counter and watch him with a gentle expression. "Oh but you do, you just havent realized it yet, and neither have they." He smiled at the look in Quails eyes and let out a soft sigh. "Well youre certainly welcome to try, Quail. I like you, youre a very interesting person and your hearts in the right place. I can see it in your eyes.... Ah, you just need to hang around the princes. Theyre always stirring up trouble with the other nobles."

Seb looked to Priiya as she began to speak again. He shook his head and let out a slight rasp, trying to tell her thats not what he meant. He returned her gesture with a soft whine. His confusion showed itself as he saw the others in the courtyard.

Hrolleif kept his teeth bared at Sigi, his anger only growing as he felt Vivs fear. He whispered in response to her, "I wont let them." The fur on the back of his neck stood on end, making him appear even larger than he already was. He didnt so much as look at Priiya and Seb as they entered, though his ear flicked in there direction.

Sigis attention went to Viveka as she whimpered. He glared at Hrolleif as he bristled. "Cant you see that youre the one scaring her outsider?" His gaze went to the others as they entered and he spoke before Hrolleif got the chance to, "your monster of a brother has done something to Viveka! Shes injured and smells of illness and hes refusing to allow me to take her to Livana!"

Duallen smirked but ultimately followed the rune smiths lead as he headed for the door, "Well I think I'll leave you all to your lovely reunion. I think it's a good time to check up on my own wifey seeing as though I'm deprived of cuddles and she's probably hungry".

"Cant wait to hear all about it, reaper"! Nivallia called back with a loud laugh, waving back to the group before heading out.

Rin leaned against her beloved, savoring his touch with dewey eyes before she broke into quiet laughter at the eager look on his face. "Yes," she whispered softly, acting as if the words were so delicate that even to say them would be tempting the gods, "We're going to have another baby". She giggled as Liam patted his father's chest and shifted the toddler to hold between them, "And so our little pack continues to grow". She kissed his nose before purring softly to their son, "And little man here will have another little cub to go on adventures with".

Quail leaned forward to put his elbow on his knee as he mulled over the idea Cali argued with, eyeing the man with a clever grin as he tapped a finger to his lips, "That's a very artful way of looking at things, Cali. I may actually take your advice". He glanced down at the man with a soft smile before looking away, almost as if bashful, "Yes well, if you happen to see him, will you politely tell him to hurry the - up? I'm not a patient man". He turned his peachy gaze back to Cali with a look of gratitude when he spoke kindly of him and much to his dismay his cheeks brightened a second time, "Aren't you just the sweetest thing"? He was about to speak up again when he jumped in fright having seen a shadow just behind Caliciian.

Apara was leaning again the table on the other side of Caliciian looking both bored and near emotionless as she watched Quail with a droll stare, "Such good advice, isn't it? As for the partner, maybe you'll be lucky enough to find someone like I have". She twisted in an instant to playfully pin Cali against the table and kissed him with a devilish grin.

Priiya looked from her brother and Viveka to the male that stood between her and her family. Though as Sigi spoke, the air around the timid female shifted toward something much more sinister. "He is not a monster"! She snapped at him, slipping her hand from Sebastien's to stand between the new male and the pair, "You wouldn't know what a monster is! A monster takes a mother from her children! A monster steals the voice of another for defending his family! A monster keeps others from getting help because they think they don't deserve it. A monster accuses another of injury without thinking to listen first...". Her bared teeth were inches from the young males face, having unknowingly advanced on him as she spoke, and every inch of hair along her head and back was raised as her hazel eyes bore down on him, resembling a figure she had long since hoped to forget forever. After a moment, however, her hair smoothed and she stepped back calmly, never looking away from Sigi with her scolding glare as she spoke softly to her brother, "Hrolleif, take Viveka to her room. Make sure she's safe and warm in her bed. I'll go find Livana. This monster obviously won't help us...".

"L-Leif-..." Viveka relaxed slightly, hearing Hrolleif's clear promise above the murmuring of other distant voices. A few stray tears ran down one cheek and dampened his fur as her coughing fits came roaring back and she cowered against the males chest once another hostile voice rose against the other. She gasped for breathe after each cough and groaned pitifully, "N-Not a m-m-monster-r...".

Pallon began to purr louder as Rin confirmed what she had revealed the day before. He looked down to Liam as he was placed between them, his smile never changing. "That it is... Liam, are you excited to have a sibling?" While one arm remained firmly around Rin and Liam he let the other drop to rest against Rins stomach.

"Hate to break up this touching moment. Really, but can we please move these conversations somewhere not in a room filled with potential chaos?" Taivil was smiling at the three, Kaisiin in one arm and Nianna wrapped in the other.

Cali chuckled softly. "Why thank you, and I hope you do. Its not always fun think youre living a lie." He smirked and mumbled to himself as Quail turned bashful. "Ill be sure to let them know if I see them. Im sure theyre not keeping you waiting on purpose." At Quails words his cheeks became dusted with a faint hue, though it quickly vanished as he saw Quail jump and turned to see what had spooked him. He relaxed slightly and let his expression go flat as he sighed. "Apara-" he was cut off as she pinned and kissed him. He pulled away quickly with a slight growl. "Stop, Apara!"

Seb flinched the moment he heard Priiyas tone snap. His ears pinned back and he looked to her in surprise. His demeanor changed quickly, however, as he moved to stand with them, his ears pinning back and fur puffing up almost like a cats as he glared at Sigi.

Hrollief twitched nervously as Priiya switched on Sigi. His fur immediately fell flat and his ears pinned back. He brought his head to rest over Vivekas once again as she began coughing, watching Sigi with an untrusting gaze. His eyes flicked to his sister as she told him what to do, and he complied without a word, turning away from them to quickly head to Vivekas room.

Sigis eyes widened as this tiny female went off on him. He backed off some as she came to stand between him and the other two, though his eyes narrowed to a glare as she came closer, and he stood his ground. "You cant just let him leave with her. Theres no telling what he may do when she cant defend hefself. The tribe knows what hes capable of, and if I can keep him from hurting another of our tribe then I will do it. Hes not one of us, and he makes sure we all know it by hiding himself away... You call me the monster, well I dont care. What I do care about is my tribe."

Rin giggled as Pallon place a hand over her stomach and she too place one over his as she cradled their son, "Are you going to be able to handle twice the cute and quadruple the trouble making, commander"? She glanced around nervously as Taivil suggested they leave and nodded without hesitation, "Aye, I think I've had my fill of this place for a while too. Let's get going before Pallon sees something shiny". She smiled lovingly at her husband and took his hand, even though her eyes held a hint of teasing.

Liam smiled wide, flashing his baby fangs with a happy squeal as his parents showered him with affection, "Seebee"!

Quail appeared less than amused as Apara interrupted their conversation and shifted away from the them on the table, "Yes, perhaps... What are you doing here exactly"? His tone was flat and slightly irritated as he watched the assassin, obviously not afraid of her skill as he awaited her answer expectantly.

Apara retreated slightly with a dramatic pout, "Awe, what's the matter sweetheart? Don't like showing your better half a bit of attention in front of anyone"? She smiled happily, not taking his rejection to heart as she winked at Caliciian before eyeing Quail with a critical glance, "I am here because it's where I'm supposed to be. The palace and it's inhabitants are under our protection so here I am. It's that simple... for most". She uttered the last few words under her breathe.

"Thats very noble of you," Priiya replied dryly, firmly remaining where she stood as she heard her brother move off. She watched the male with contempt, lips still parted in a disapproving grimace, "I will and so will you. You have one of two options at the moment: Either you go to Livana and tell her of Viveka' s condition or... you fight me". She took a step forward before raising a hand between them, "Before you choose I must warn you; in our short time here I have helped care for many of your people. Your tribe has given us a life of kinship that we would have never dreamt possible and for that I care for everyone, even you. What you fail to understand is that the past you know is not who we are. We have guarded Lani in her time of grief, my brother has saved the life of Viveka once before, and Sebastien risked his life to make sure we still had an alpha to lead us". She waited a moment before continuing, letting her words sink in, "Hrolleif may be different from others and hide away from them, but that's because he doesn't understand this feeling of freedom. A life of cruelty is all we've ever known, but it is not one we live by. Klojen and Livana wouldn't have let us stay if we were any kind of threat and if they were to see me battered and bloodied, what do you think would happen? Would you risk facing your wrong doings under their judgement? We are not your enemies... Now think before I ask you: What will you do? I ask for Viveka's sake as well as our own. Monster or brother"?

Viveka's breathing was beginning to sound raspy and short after her last round of coughing and she moaned softly every few steps. She nestled further into Hrolleifs hold as he carried her and refused to let go of his fur even as the familiar smell of her room became clear through the scent of fresh blood. She wanted to speak to him, but her head was spinning and she couldn't collect her thoughts well enough to put words together.

Pallon grinned as Rin giggled. "Probably not since I can barely manage myself." He rolled his eyes as he became the butt of the jokes. "Oh come on, Im not that stupid." He pouted as he was teased, but it didnt last long as he gently squeezed Rins hand and led her out. He chuckled at Liams attempt. "Well... Have you eaten yet? We could all go get breakfast now that the drama is over."

Taivil and Nianna followed them out. He turned to shut the door behind them, locking it. "Oh dont be so sure about that Hivar, you havent told Rin how you got me socked in the head by Tovheir yesterday, thanks for that by the way cause it still hurts, or how you nearly got my everything broken." His tone was deadpan as he spoke, and when he turned his gaze on them it was serious and clearly unamused.

Caliciian gave Apara an unamused look. "You shouldnt intentionally sneak up on people if its not necessary." He gave Quail an apologetic look when Apara turned her gaze away. His eyes shot towards Apara as he over heard her mutter and narrowed. He spoke his tone turning sharp, "protecting doesnt mean being criticizing and harsh, Apara." He folding his arms firmly across his chest with a scowl.

Sigi stared down Priiya as she told him off, his arms crossed across his chest. He seemed unimpressed as she continued on, but there was something more to his gaze as he let out a sigh. "Oh, Im not going to fight you. Im not a fighter, and I never fight my own tribe. Theres something you dont yet understand, and Ill explain it to you." He turned and started walking away, pausing as if waiting for her and Sebastien to follow. "We have to find Livana, I dont want to leave... Him... Alone with her for long." He began walking again. "All you say may be true, but do you know what it is that seperates you from him? What makes you a part of the tribe, but not him?" He paused to let her think over the answer. "Its because he hides. We understand that he doesnt know, but he also doesnt let us help. He chooses to stay alone as an outsider. Hes made no effort to try and get to know any of us. Sure the few of you who were there when he joined know more, but those of us who werent only know the stories. Its harsh, but its better for him to hear it from someone whos clearly mo threat than from someone who he could get into an actual fight with, and would probably get him into more trouble... Dont you see? He cant just be open to you and Viveka. He has to show the rest of us that hes not the monster weve heard he was."

Hrolleifs ears pinned back as her breathing changed. He ignored any they passed focused only on Viveka and where he needed to go. He paused when they finally came to her room and he shouldered open the door before entering. He quickly went to her bed to lay her down, grabbing a blanket to cover her and keep her warm. "Oh, Viveka..." His tone was thick with worry and dread as he gently place his hand on her cheek.

Rin laughed lightly as her husband pouted, and followed him out with a blissful smile, "Not exactly. First and foremost this morning was if either of us had a husband to hug this morning". She cocked a quizzical brow as Taivil eluded to the previous nights escapades and she looked to Pallon for an explanation, "Alright, tell me everything. Who did you - off this time and how bad was it"? She didn't seem at all angered, but more concerned and understanding if anything.

"If I recall correctly you used to love my surprise visits in camp," Apara replied with a hint of amusement. She gave Caliciian a slightly confused look as her amusement faded and was replaced with a contentious air as she pushed off the table, "Fine. I can see you're not in the mood to play nice so I'll be on my way. Maybe you'll be less of a stick in the mud by the end of my shift". She eyed Quail one more time before turning to leave without another word.

Quail waved cheerily at Apara as she left and waited until they were alone once more to speak. "Such a lovely girl that one. If only she wasn't such a-," His tone was dreadfully sarcastic begore he cleared his throat and collecting himself again, "Sorry about that, my sass is hard to control sometimes".

Priiya looked back to Sebastien before cautiously following Sigi, listening to his defense with a high level of suspicion. "And you thought the best way for him to open up to everyone was for you, the non-fighter, to confront him with aggression and brash namecalling? You all have no patience! You can't expect him to simply drop everything and suddenly be sociable! That's madness"! She huffed at him with clear agitation before it too subsided, "I can tell you why he chooses to avoid people. It's because he's afraid. Anyone that has ever gotten close to him has been hurt, killed, or ended up betraying him thanks to our alpha so he's afraid to get close to anyone. He wants to spare them of any injury caused by his presence alone". A calmness enveloped her as she came to her own conclusion with a small smirk, "My understanding of this? You dont like him because he's different and if your elders taught you one thing as a pup its that just because someone is different doesn't mean they're bad. Get used to it. For now you all need to place your faith in the people you do trust to make the right decisions with him like Klojen, Livana, Viveka, and myself".

Viveka whined as she was placed on the bed, not liking the sudden chill that accompanied being away from Leif. She turned on her side and curled up with the blanket wrapped tightly around her for warmth. After a few minutes, color began to slowly return to her cheeks and she cracked open her eyes to see the male hovering over her. She attempted a faint smile as she gently took his hand with her own and squeezed it lightly, "H-Hey, why the long face, p-pretty boy"?? She ducked beneath the covers suddenly to shield another round of coughs before looking up to him again with an almost fearful uncertainty, "M-Maybe I was sicker th-than I thought...Can I-... can I t-tell you something? It's a s-secret I haven't told anybody... but I want y-you to know. Will you sit w-with me"?

"Then thats exactly what we need to do next." Pallon replied with a grin. He glared back at Taivil before rubbing the back of his neck in a bashful manner. "I kinda got into an argument with Hamish... Im not even exactly sure what I said to make him get that angry..."

"You brought up his ex-wife." Taivil added in with a huff. "Tovheir made sure to give me all the details..."

"That was the camp, not here. Im not the same person as I was there." Caliciian responded with a sigh. "Youre right, and we shall see." He didnt so much as look at her as she left. "*****." He finished for Quail as if without a second thought. "That is what you were going to say right? Dont apologize for the sass when its been earned... Im sorry about that."

Seb shrugged slightly in response, not knowing what to think either. He followed after them in silence.

"There are two types of aggression. Theres what you get when you make someone mad and what you get when you make someone feel threatened. My words only annoyed your brother, he didnt give a flying **** what I said to him... That is until I 'threatened' to take something away from him." Sigi glanced to Priiya with a smirk. "Call it an experiment. I noticed that behavior from when I first met him... Hes mislead himself with his fears. Hes no threat to anyone until they go after something or more specifically someone he cares about." He got a semi blank, and unamused look once again. "Youre right. I dont like your brother, but not because of that. I dont like him for two reasons, one because not even five minutes after meeting him he punched me in the face and broke my nose, and two... Because he took Viveka..." His second reason he mumbled and a reddish hue lit his cheeks faintly.

Hrolleif crouched next to the bed as Viveka looked at him, and let out a faint worried whine. He returned to his human form, gently brushing his thumb over her cheek, only pulling away when she began coughing again. "You... You can tell me anything, Viveka..." He seemed hesitant for a moment but nodded to her request. He moved to sit on the bed with her, making it so she could rest her head in his lap if she so wished.

Rin winced with a very audible groan as her grandfather was mentioned, then sighed sadly as the grandmother she never met was then brought up, "Oh that's bad. Dear God's above you really almost did break Taivil. What were you guys even arguing about to bring her up"? She squeezed his hand reassuringly as she waited, silently promising she wouldn't be mad at anything he told her.

"Precisely, thank you," Quail praised Cali as he returned to his original spot on the table, "I'm going to kindly avoid asking any blatantly stupid questions of how you got messed up with her because I'm nice and that's not what we're here to do. Don't worry I'm not one for grudges... they cause wrinkles". He smirked before clapping his hands and was immediately greeted with a few dishes of food that was set between them by a servant, "Eat. You'll need your strength for beating up your sisters suitor".

"And somehow you've managed to get a rise out of him in both occasions. Are you feeling proud of yourself? I'm proud of your broken nose. Maybe you did deserve that punch at the party," Priiya huffed at him with a disapproving look before suddenly realizing why Sigi was acting the way he was. She looked to him, somewhat awestruck as she pieced things together by his reaction, and flashed an amused smile, "You liked Viveka! You wanted her for yourself so when she didn't return your affection and started hanging around a new male you put a target on my brothers back! Admit it! You're jealous of him"!

Viveka watched Hrolleif with a soft gaze, a flicker of apprehension hung in her yellow eyes as she made an effort to move and be able to look up at him with her head in his lap. She sighed, obviously exhausted even if she still wore a small smile, and spoke with a bit more fervor once she knew she wouldn't be interrupted by further coughing, "I don't know how to, um-... Have you ever felt that-... The truth is, I-I have this feeling whenever you're around-... I can't describe it. It's like nothing I've ever felt before. Being away from you makes my head hurt and seeing you just calms me down and makes me happy again. I wont blame you for not feeling the same way but-... Hrolleif, I like you a lot... Maybe... Maybe even love".

Pallon shot another glare to Taivil as he interceeded, before sighing and looking to Rin. "He made a comment about me needing to know that I didnt deserve you and I kinda lost it a little... I told him I knew that, and that I was thankful that you have stuck with me and how I would do everything in my power not to lose you and Liam. I know I didnt say it in those exact words, but thats the basis of it." He glanced to the floor, the action showing that he had hurt himself some in the admittance of everything.

Cali gave a nod in response to Quail's thanks. "And I thank you for that, cause Im not even sure on the answer anymore." He chuckled onceat the mention of wrinkles. "I do know someone who makes a preventative balm for wrinkles and crows feet... If youre ever interested." He glanced to the servant as food was placed on the table and shook his head slightly. "Ill also need luck to catch him without his mentors or my sister around." He complied with the request, however and began to pick at the food, clearly avoiding most of the meat.

Sigi hufged in response to Priiya. "Say what you want it doesnt change the fact that hes a brute." His cheeks only grew in color as she pieced things together, and he looked away clearly annoyed. "Of course I like her! How could anyone not like her?! Dont tease me about my unrequited love when youve been just as bad! You dont know how it feels to pine after someone who will never love you, but your big boy toy there does! Did you ever ask him how much pain you put him through over th-" He let out a sharp yelp as there was the sound of a crack, and fell to the side clutching the side of his head.

"Thats enough Sigmund! What would your mother say if I told her about your behaviour, hmm?" Livana had smacked Sigi with her staff as he ranted. She looked to the three and as if sensing something was wrong spoke, "Whats happened?"

Hrolleif gently brushed back Vivekas hair as she rested on him, doing only what felt natural to him though he was unsure of his own actions. He managed a small smile back to her when he saw hers. He listened intently to what she had to say, his eyes widening in shock at what she revealed. "You...you..." He leaned forward, gently placing his hand on her cheek and resting his forehead against hers. His voice soft when he spoke again, "Viveka..." He sealed his own voice away as he kissed her gently, yet passionately.

Rin turned to Pallon and without a word embraced him tightly, making sure not to squish their son between them as the toddler joined in on his mother's hug. "He must be going senile, the old dog. He should've never said that to you, no matter the circumstances. It's not a matter of who deserves who, it's if we love each other. I don't know about you, but I'm still very much in love with the man who wears grass crowns and always knows how to make me blush". She withdrew only enough to give him a tender kiss before placing others all over his cheeks and forehead as well, "And you've still yet to fall on a dagger, thank the gods".

Quail seemed to mull over the offer, tapping a fresh strawberry to his cheek before lightly chuckling, "If I'm lucky I won't ever need their help, but I'll still keep it in mind". He popped the fruit into his mouth before choosing another, "You've had enough luck to come back from the war virtually unscathed so what's another small moment in time"? He looked to Cali with a devilish smile before noticing something, "Not much for meat I see. I thought all reapers enjoyed their meals a little raw".

Priiya's moment of teasing was cut short as her own past was brought up and she glared at Sigi with an angry snarl. She looked back to Sebastien with a heartbroken gaze, wrapping him in a tight hug before turning on the upstart male again, "Don't you dare-"! She didn't get the chance to finish as he fell to one side to reveal the shaman and a wave of relief washed over her, "Livana! Oh yes, um, it's Viveka! She's very ill and has an open wound on her hand. We dont know what happened but Leif took her back to her room when we came to find you".

Viveka remained frozen in fears icy grasp as she watched Hrolleif's reaction closely, almost sure that she had frightened him too. She turned her eyes away only to flick them up again when she felt his gentle touch on her cheek. She leaned into him, her heart fluttering all the while as he placed his forehead to hers and the sound of her racing heart grew louder the moment he called her name. She looked up to him, not knowing what would happen until she felt his lips on hers. She melted into the sensation, feeling the emotion that he had never shown her before, and lifted a hand to tenderly cup his cheek as she returned the kiss with everything she had.
