Avian didnt offer a response to Falriens wise words. He took a step forward, bringing Ayrian with him as the older man inquired about the girl. "Ayrian is right here with me." He let go of Ayrians hand and wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

Ayrian made no sound to confirm her fathers words. She hugged his side as his arm wrapped around her and kept her sleepy gaze averted.

"Its fine Adiira. This is just helping prepare for all of Aidiens questions" Felsii replied with a chuckle. "Appalled is a fancy word for shocked, and forbade means that he wasnt allowed." She explained softly. "He is being punished but a time out isnt exactly a punishment for an adult. See adults get punishments that are fitting to their actions and because they know what they did was bad they need more force to be corrected." She silenced for a brief moment. "As for my 'sissises' no. I havent spoken to them since that brief time I stayed with them. While I dont hate them they are only people I know and happen to be related to."

Eviina nodded in response and stayed behind to finish getting Ashaii out of the tub.

The two cubs charged out of the room as soon as they got the chance.

Jasnah lifted her head to look at Liam as she was poked. Her tail wagged once but otherwise her alert gaze went from Liam and Dagan to the door.

Dagan sat in his normal silence, watching Liam as the younger boy played. He seemed content in his observations.

Fal'rien stood again, giving her father a kiss to the forehead, before making her way to the door, "I'll be in the hall when you see fit to join Felsii again". She exchanged a look with her mother and exited the room, leaving Avian and Le'vin to do as they please.

Le'vin sighed and opened his hazy gaze again, this time spotting the shimmer of blonde that was Ayrian's curly hair. He cleared his throat roughly and took in several shallow breathes before speaking again in a whisper, "I'm sorry, Avian....Ayrian... this whole debacle ....was my doing. I shouldn't have pushed you... or said what I did...". He coughed lightly and gradually relaxed against the pillows again, his guilt lifting slightly at having said what he desperately wanted to. Whether the assassins would accept it was another issue.

"Well what am I supposed to tell Zach when he comes back to a daughter that knows fancy words and stuff someone her age usually doesn't know"? Ad'iira giggled with a shrug of her shoulders as she watched the pair. She patted Cineal's side as the stag sighed heavily with a snort.

Mirembe listened intently, her wandering attention solely focused on Felsii as she explained each one of her questions back to her. "Oooooh" She crooned as she took hold of the information, "That makes sense! Mommy's and daddy's and grown ups are bigger so they need more, right"? She pursed her lips and giggled slightly as Cineal's breathe made her rock forward and back again, "Don't you want a sissy though? My daddy always said he wished I had a sissy or a brother cause they're important".

Rin entered the bedroom and heaved a sigh of relief at seeing the boys and Jasnah perfectly content where she had last left them. She smiled and crouched infront of the three, "Alright everyone, time to move again". She scooped Liam up first, giving him a kiss to the cheek, then did the same to Dagan with her other arm. She turned to leave, calling Jasnah to her side.

Liam squealed at the sight of his mother and giggled as he was kissed, snuggling up under her jaw and resting his head on her shoulder with continued sounds of happiness.

Avian shook hd head, clearly not accepting Levins words. "While our argument did play a part in my decision it was not your fault alone. I chose to leave. You never told me to do so, thus it was of my own accord. It was my fault and my mistake. You have nothing to feel shame over." He had spoken with a gentle yet truthful tone.

Ayrian continued to stand in silence. She buried her face in her fathers side with a small yawn.

"You tell him that his daughter has learned a bunch of new things that she cant wait to share with him." Felsii replied with a smirk and a wink to Mimi. She nodded to Mirembes words. "Exactly so." She shook her head slightly. "I may have wanted siblings, but not in the way I got them, and you father is right on that part..." She sighed slightly. "Its one thing to have siblings but its another to have sisters that in your eyes werent supposed to be born. Mimi, look at it this way, your Mommy and Daddy loved each other very much and they had you. Thats the way I had thought of my parents. My mommy and daddy loved each other and they had me. Your parents could have had another child or have adopted a child to be your sibling, and theyd still love each other and would be together as a family. Now if you look at it from my perspective, my mommy loved my father and I loved my father but he was gone a lot which made us miss him. Him being gone meant that he and my mother could never manage to have another baby. Well when I got older and found out about my siblings it was as if my father had chosen to love someone elses mommy more than mine, and him not coming home was like him saying he loved his other children more than he loved me. He loved another family rather than ours and it hurt me so being the age I was I wanted to blame my sisters and a part of me still does, even though I know its not thier fault. Plus they are much younger than I am."

Dagan hugged Rin though he twisted some to look around instead of snuggling in as Liam had done.

Jasnah yipped once and bounded to Rins side, looking up at her with a happily wagging tail.

Levin sighed as Avian gently rejected his apology, though the small action sent him into another round of violent coughs which made him grit his teeth as the action stressed his already raw throat. He closed his eyes again, though his features still clearly expressed the remorse he still head. He took in a breathe before whispering again, this time to Ayrian, "And what of you, young one? Will you forgive an elder mans mistake if your father will not"?

Arwyn cleared her throat gently out of habit after hearing her husbands strife and adjusted the blanket around him lovingly. She hushed him as he struggled to speak more, but couldn't draw the strength, "Now, now, there's no need to argue this mute point any further. Avian is back, Ayrian is with her father again, and all you need to do now is rest". She stood from the bed with folded hands, curious to see how the young assassin would respond, but knowing the two had others waiting on them as well, "Avian I'm sure you have other duties to attend to aside from my husbands health. Youre welcome to come back, but as of right now my daughter is still waiting for you both".

Mirembe had leaned forward to rest her upper body against the top of Cineal's head, earning a twitch of his ears but nothing more as they both listened to Felsii spin her tale in a way the young girl could understand. She frowned deeply and gripped handfuls of the stags mane as the future queen finished her story, "I don't like that ending. It's not happy...". She pouted and looked to the floor, mumbling soft words as if she were trying to remember something before they became clearer, "I don't remember my mommy either". She wasn't upset, but the topic seemed to weigh so heavily on the child's mind that she didn't quite know how to handle it properly, so she played with a lock of fur instead with a small frown.

Adiira pursed her lips and stood from the table to crouch next to Felsii with an encouraging smile as she tried to change the subject, "Mimi? Maybe after all of this is over with and Mrs. Purple and Mrs. Booboo are done with work we can go visit Aidien and go do something fun together like get some sweets. What do you say"? She gave Felsii a pleading glance as the young girl buried her face in the stags mane without another word.

"Hello pretty girl! I missed you too" Rin chuckled and was mindful to balance Dagan as he took in his surroundings. She stopped at the open bathroom door with an inquisitive smile as she peered inside, "Any luck with getting him out or are you going to need my help"? She rested her cheek on Liam's head as the boy peaked out to look at the scene as well.

Ayrian was watching Levin in silence. She seemed hesitant even as she was spoken to. Eventually she gave a reluctant nod, though she still refused to speak. Her eyes flicked ti Arwyn as she spoke and then up to her father.

Avian sighed lightly and looked down at Ayrian as she gave her silent response. He turned to look at Arywn as the older woman spoke to him. He gave a slight solemn nod in response. "I do... If either of you need anything please let me know. I owe you both a great dept and I dont like oweing people." He slowly turned and ushered Ayrian towards the door. He gave the two elders one final look before leaving, "Ill be sure to come back later as well."

Felsii nodded slightly to Mirembes conclusion. "I didnt like it much either... But after that happened I got married and had my own baby, so it seems things worked out." she spoke softly with a kind smile. She frowned lightly, however, when she saw Mimis sorrow. She nodded in agreement to Adiiras suggestion. "That sounds like an excellent idea."

Eviina was just standing up from kneeling on the floor as Rin returned. She looked to Rin with a light chuckle. "No worries, dear. I believe now hell come out as soon as he realizes were leaving him here." she started for the door, grabbing her staff.

As if on command Ashaii lifted his head just enough to see over the rim of the tub. He immediately leapt out of the tub to follow, dripping excess water every so often as he did so.

Le'vin grumbled halfheartedly as his wife hushed and fussed over him, though he still couldn't see the answer he longest for as Ayrian silently answered him. His brows furrowed in a droll manner and he pursed his lips trying to control the next round of coughs he felt coming. "I'm holding you to your promise, young man" He managed to whisper, though he wasn't positive if he was heard at all as he relaxed back into the bed for another nap.

Arwyn bit her tongue as her thoughts turned against her and pleaded to argue the need for debt of any kind. She bowed her head once, a thin smile creeping onto her lips as she watched Ayrian leave with her father. She turned back to her husband, rearranging pillows and telling him of the decision the youngest assassin had given him in the end.

Fal'rien was waiting for Avian and Ayrian in the hall, surveying a painting that she had passed a thousand times before if only to distract herself. She turned as the two exited the room, and her eyes seemed to become warmer and much less stoic in the short time they had visited, "Shall we make our return"?

Mirembe sighed and peaked one sorrowful eye up to the two woman, before she mumbled something and nodded her head, hiding her face yet again. Cineal shifted and lifted his head, curling his claws protectively around the girl as she sought his comfort. He nuzzled the top of her head and tweeted at the two elder women before the bed of moss he had been laying on died off and crumbled beneath them.

Ad'iira shook her head lightly, at a loss of what to do as she gave another silent glance to Felsii, "She loved you very much Mimi. I can tell by the way your daddy talks about her, and we all love you just as much. It'll be alright, you'll see. The sun will always come again, no matter how dark the storm". She stood again with a small smile as the girl finally turned to look at them with a lost expression.

Banging could be heard from the living area, feverish clawing making the doors jolt and groan as the weight on the other side refused to lift. The loud noise was accompanied by excited barking and a few highpitched whines.

Rin moved from the door to let Eviina escape from the bathroom behind her. She chuckled at the sight of the tiger that followed them but the sound cut short as she jumped from the chaos outside, "What the h*** is that"? Her momentary fright quickly morphed into concern as she immediately thought of her family, "What if somethings happened to someone"?

Avians gaze went to Falrien as he and Ayrian entered the hall. He didnt show if he had heard Levin or not as he approached the somewhat calmer healer. He nodded in answer to her question. "Better to get it done now rather than later... Any clue on to what Felsii has in store for me?"

Ayrian slowly followed after her father. Her feet shuffled along as exhaustion finally started to win her battle to stay awake. She leaned heavily against her fathers side as he stopped to talk to Falrien.

Felsii gave a slight shrug, not knowing how to help other than what shed already said. She smiled softly at the child and nodded in agreement to Adiira. "Happiness is a choice. You may either shoose to let life drag you down and make you sad or you can choose to take the brightest parts of your day and choose to be happy when all else fails."

Eviinas attention snapped to the sound of the choas. She looked to Rin sharing in her concern. "Then we best find out."

The cubs both sat at the dor staring at the bottom as if confused by the ruckus coming from the otherside. One pawed at the door in response and let out a yowl. Jasnahs ears perked at the familar sound of the hound on the other side of the door. She whined softly, but remained at Rins side. Ashaii seemed the least affected as he just started to lick the water from his fur.

Fal'rien smiled as the assassin as he posed his question, the look reminiscent of the look she would give her own children when they asked if she were mad at them, "Avian, I may be closer to Felsii than you are, but even I cant give you the answer to that in good conscience. What I can say is that you are a deeply cherished friend and ally amongst our family. Hopefully the effects of your absence have started to sink in, and rest assured nothing Felsii could ever charge you with would take you away from Ayrian again". She folded her hands gracefully and turned to head toward the great hall once again, "Come along".

"That's right"! Adiira spoke with a little more energy as she agreed with Felsii's words of encouragement, "Sometimes life's not fair, but it's better to think of the good times rather than focus on the bad. I know you can do it, too, Mimi. You've been an inspiration to all of us here". She gave the youngster a motherly smile and opened her arms wide, trying to coax her forward.

Mirembe shifted to let her head rest on Cineal's leg and she looked up at the two quickly before darting her gaze away again, her shy nature taking over as she took in the advice. She wiggled in the elementals hold and he opened his claws immediately to let her join Adiira in a hug. She peaked over her shoulder to Felsii with sad eyes, "So what's the best part about today"?

Rin managed to hold the two boys with one arm for a split second to open the door before hugging them both securely as Desha came bolting into the room with frantic whines and barks as she circled the group. She bolted up to and sniffed each of them in a hurried state before spinning in circles in front of her mother only to bolt out again. "Dear gods above dog, what's got you in a tizzy"? She asked as she glanced between the excited hound in the hall and Eviina, "I don't think we have any other choice but to follow her".

Avian seemed less convinced as Falrien boasted on how important he was to her family. He seemed slightly unsure on her assurances that the future queen wouldnt do anything to take him away from Ayrian. "I can only hope that youre right about that, milady..." He glanced down to Ayrian before nodding and following afyer Falrien.

Felsii nodded in firm agreement with Adiira. She smiled and placed a hand on her hip as she watched the two. She smiled at Mirembe softly. "Thats the thing Mimi. You have to decide what the best thing is for you. For me the best thing about today was waking up to see my son smiling at me. Maybe for you the best thing would be getting a hug from Adiira, or maybe it was getting to see Cineal, or maybe you decide that everyday you will make it happy by writing down what you did during the day so your daddy and aunt can read all about it when they come home."

Eviina nodded with a light laugh. "Then let us follow her." She followed the hound into the halls with Ashaii on her heels. She glanced to Rin to make sure she was following as well.

The cubs sprinted after Desha, keeping pace with her and thinking it was all just a fun game.

Jasnah cocked her head at Deshas excitment and looked up at Rin, ready to follow her when she decided to move.

Fal'rien was silent for the remainder of the journey back to the great hall. Her movements and attitude becoming more regal with every step closer they came to the place where they had left Felsii and Ad'iira. She sighed curtly, letting her shoulders relax slightly as she folded her hands again and turned to enter into the great hall.

A very faint smile tugged at the corner of Mirembe's mouth as Felsii listed off what had made her day and she looked up to Ad'iira, "Will you help write down stuff with me"? She gripped the woman's shirt a little tighter before hiding as she spotted the returning group.

Ad'iira smiled and nodded to the young girls request before lifting her up into her arms as she stood, "Of course I can, Mimi. I'm sure Zach and Gavi will love reading it when they get back". She blinked a few times in slight confusion as the girl hid against her again and turned to see her mother in law with the assassin family in tow.

Rin rolled her eyes with an amused grin as De'sha went running off and let Jasnah pass before managing to close the door behind her using her foot. She quickly caught up to Eviina and sighed heavily, "What did I ever do to warrant this much crazy in my life"?

De'sha spun around, tail wagging feverishly as the cubs joined in on her merriment. She barked again to try and urge the group faster before sprinting the rest of the way down the hall, not-so-patiently waiting to turn the corner and lead them further.
