Nianna nodded with a small grin. "That is very true. Shall we go ask her now?" she glanced down to make sure Degger had come as well.

Jasnah trotted along on Rins otherside, watchinging Desha with liam.

Zess nodded before sighing. "I though id ide those from im... Seems like I need ta ave a word with 'im"

Felsii chuckled as Zess hurried away back towards thr palace. She looked to Falrien with a smile. "Shall we?"

Avian listened to Dek as he watched the people below. "Im assuming this ship is the one runned by Zess."

"Tell that to her! Shes the one that started talking about death!" Wolf grumbled as if hed been blamed for something and pointed towards Nivallia.

"Something that I didnt agree with." Sigurn answered matter of factly as he took another gulp.

Nick half laughed and followed Demarae. "Alright!" He pulled her to a stop just before the door. "Oh... One thing. If any guy in there grabs you and you dont know him or want him to touch you, punch him as hard as you can."

Garm wrapped his arms around her tighter as she continued to try and get closer. He was trying to help her warm up and watched her with a soft gaze. " yes l-l-lani?" his face was only a small distance away as he continued to try and keep Lani warm

Rin directed her son to walk down the opposite end of the hall as she smiled back at Nianna, "She doesn't gave a choice, we're bound and determined to make things right and I bet she'll hop on board first chance she gets".

"Men..." Fal'rien smiled and shook her head slowly as she watched Zess continue on toward the palace. She nodded and started back on their path, "Aye. Perhaps there's other goodies than just the edible sort".

Dek smiled wickedlyas he jumped to his feet empty bottle still in hand as he became more dramatic with his story telling, "Aye Aye, Mr. Avian. The dreaded gatekeeper floated before me with her deck hands running about in chaos. I changed my fate that day when I decided to help a strange black haired beauty with golden eyes. She was fighting off tentacles as an octopus ravaged the other side of her ship". He swung the bottle as if it were a sword and snarled defensively.

Gavrielle couldn't help but chuckle as Wolf defended himself and she brought a hand up to gently rub Nivallia's back, "Don't look at the future, live in the now. Good friends, good drink, good gods and here I thought she'd never make it any closer that the village street". She leaned to look at something past Wolf and Sigurn.

"I will be sure to make any man who lays a hand to me pay for their advances" Demarae grumbled darkly before popping back into her exuberant state as she barged through the door. She froze immediately and stared down the trophies on the wall before attacking the stuffed head of a bear with a vicious snarl.

Lani lifted her gaze to Garm with a gentleness that almost looked like guilt, allowing a hand to drift up and gently cup his cheek as she looked into his solid green eyes. She slowly and ever so delicately raised her lips to his and kissed him lightly as if waiting for his reaction before she went any further. She closed her eyes and seemed to melt as she leaned up against him.

"Yes but shouldnt she be aware of our plan Sisian?" Nianna watched Liam with a small smile as he walked.

"Cant live with them, cant live without them." Felsii nodded in agreement with a chuckle. "Perhaps. Maybe well find some sort of treasure."

Avian jumped slightly as Dek jumped to his feet and turned up the dramatics. He chuckled and shook his head with a smirk. "You almost sound like you like her more than her just being a friend."

Wolf huffed before turning to look at what had caught Gavrielles attention. He raised one brow and shook his head.

Nick nodded in approval and followed her in with a smile. He stopped as she froze and followed her gaze, jumping as she attacked the stuffed bear. "Demarae! Its ok! Its dead..." He tried to grab her to pull her off of the bear.

Garm didnt flinch in the lightest as Lani touched his cheek. His smiled ever so softly, his eyes still showing their concern for her. He froze in surprise as she kissed him only to melt and return the gentle kiss a couple moments later.

"Of course, why do you think we're headed over to her room"? Rin grinned as she continued to steer her son in the right direction. Once sure he could walk she hesitantly let go of his hand and watched him and De'sha closely.

Ad'iira was in her room and had been since lunch having brought back two servings of the meals to share with Mirembe. The little girl was having a grand time with her newfound friend playing dress up with Töten as the reluctant doll.

Dek chuckled deeply with a sinister smirk, "It's my job to flirt, sir. I pride myself on the fact I am the best first mate that ship has ever seen, and flirting gets you a long way as a pirate as well. Less blood that way too". He winked at the man before continuing his story, "I managed to get up on deck and nobody seemed to notice me. Men had been knocked out or thrown left and right by the creature. The only person still fighting was the fateful Cap'n of the ship. That is until I jumped in". He lifted his vest to expose the rings encompassing his torso and a few long gouges on his chest and stomach, "The b****** had teeth on his suckers, felt em tasting me when he wrapped a few of his arms round me and pulled me close. His beak got a few good chunks out of me too before he got the nice taste of sharp metal down his throat". He trusted the bottle out as if stabbing the imaginary creature.

Gavrielle laughed and got up to help Nick as she laughed at the pair, "Should've warned her about the decorations, Nicky"! She grabbed the mounts base and tried to pull it away from the woman.

Nivallia looked up from her second mug and nearly spit out her mouthful of ale as she coughed and laughed along with her brother at the sight of the crazed woman.

Demarae growled and played a fierce game of tug-of-war with her teeth before the bears ear gave way and ripped from its perch. She spit it out on the floor and glowered at Nick before snapping her gaze to the others and hiding behind him, "Why are there heads of beasts on the walls"?

Lani let her kiss grow more passionate as Garm returned it willingly only to break it a moment later to rest her head under his with a long, content sigh, "...". She didn't know what to say or really what had come over her in that moment so she simply sat by his side with warming cheeks and hugged him, ignoring the lack of feeling in her frigid legs.

"Right... Im sorry Im still out of sorts and not quiet thinking completely..." Nianna replied with a light sigh as she rubbed her eyes.

Avian rolled his eyes as Dek explained then shifted his seat so he could watch Dek as he continued the story. "Those are some nasty scars... Howd the captain react to a stranger on her ship?"

Sigurn chuckled deeply as he sipped at his cup and watched the trio and the bear as wolf practically died laughing.

Nick flinched at Demaraes glare but relaxed again. "Its a hunter thing . some people have trophies like these while others keep pelts. Its almost like a right of passage for hunting an animal that was particularly challenging." He wasnt sure if his explination made sense.

Garm frowned ever so slightly as Lani broke the kiss. He rested his head on hers and watched the surroundings in silence. After a few moments he shifted and looked down at Lani. "W-w-we should g-g-grt y-you s-somew-w-where w-warmer, and s-some d-dry c-c-clothes."

"That's alright, darling. With a discovery like that I'm surprised I'm even thinking myself" Rin smiled softly and stopped infront of Ad'iira's bedroom door. She knocked a few times, "Adii? We need some help".

Mirembe was the one to open the door with a smile as Töten sat beside her looking less than pleased as he sat with a skirt and hat on, "Hi everybody".

Ad'iira was sitting cross-legged on her bed and waved to the others, "Go ahead and let them in Mimi". She leaned back against her pillows, "What can I do for you ladies"?

Dek smiled wickedly and turned to face Avian, advancing on him with the bottle, "She hated it. She blamed me for killing the beast when it should've been hers to claim, especially afer what it cost her. However...". He stood upright and tossed the bottle in the air, "instead of killing me... she offered me this job. I had proven myself and so became part of the gatekeepers crew".

Demarae relaxed again once she saw the others at a table near the fire and kicked a nearby stag mount only to have it fall over, "But that makes no sense. A hunter should use every part of its kill, not bring it back to half life". She slunk toward the table, "Such strange people... how is the spicy kick water"?

Gavrielle kicked the bear mount to the side and went back to the table to take her seat again, "Spicy kick water"?

"Giv'er ah mug an ledder answah her ohn quession" Crucivander slid a mug toward the wild woman as she sat.

Lani looked up at Garm with a pitiful glance before flushing and dropping her gaze to her legs, her one knee covered in scarlet blood, "I-I don't know if I can walk". She tried to move but whimpered as she fell back again and looked to Garm with rising tears, "I'm sorry".

Nianna nodded with a slight smile. She looked down at Mirembe as she opened the door and chuckled. "Were you and Totem having fun?" She looked up to where Adiira was.

Avian smirked. "In surprised she let you walk away without payback though, and to offer you a place like that. Just wow..."

Nick nodded and followed Demarae. "Well it is kinda being used, just in a different way..."

Wolf grinned wickedly. "We sure we want her to have that? It might make her crazier... Not that being crazy is a bad thing."

Garm followed her gaze to her knee and nodded in understanding. He cushioned her fall as she tried to move, and looked to her softly as she started to cry again. "H-h-hey. D-dont cry. I d-d-dont lik-ke s-seeing you cry." He shifted his legs like he was going to stand, lifting Lani at the same time. "I m-m-might n-not be as s-s-strong as m-my b-b-brother, b-but I th-think I c-can carry y-you."

"Yeah! We picked clothes that made him happy! He likes flowers" Mirembe replied happily up to Nianna. She ran back into the room giggling with Töten grudgingly padding behind her.

Cineal lifted his head as the newcomers entered and snorted a greeting before letting his head rest on the stone floor again. He seemed content as he lay sprawled on his side.

Rin chuckled and entered smiling at the little party that they seemed to have interrupted, "Ad'iira, darling. We need your help with something". She became slightly more doleful as she glanced to Nianna.

Ad'iira stood from the bed and made her way over to the two with folded arms and a blanket around her shoulders looking concerned, "What's wrong"?

Dek wagged his finger at Avian with a cunning smile, "Ah ah ah I never said anything like that, mate". He lifted his vest and pointed to a small diamond shaped scar in the center of his torso, "She got me good with her blade. Straight through the sternum and as angry as a harpie, but since I survived the blow I guess she must've taken pity on me".

Demarae poked the mug with her finger before drawing it in closer. She pressed her entire face into the opening sniffing at the strange golden liquid that sloshed around inside, "It smells strange too". She lapped up a bit and coughed, "Ew it is quite kicking, and disgusting". She lapped up a few more sips looking oddly amused as she drank.

"It is when she bites the ear off a stuffed mount" Gavrielle grinned and sipped at her drink as she watched Demarae, amused.

"I think it's going to be funnier than h***" Nivallia chuckled, finally showing an inkling of her humanity as she cluched her drink, "Go on give her another one I think she likes it".

Lani flailed for a moment, not used to the sensation of being lifted, before settling back against Garm's chest again. She hugged him close around the chest and dried her tears on his shirt, "I can't thank you enough Garm... I'm sorry if I-... did anything to offend you".

Nianna chuckled softlyand stopped next to Rin. She sighed lightly and looked to Adiira. "Nothing is really wrong. But we have an idea and we need your help and or permission."

Degger trotted over to sniff Cineal with a wagging tail.

Avian smirked ar the scar and chuckled. He didnt say a word.

"A harpie, eh? Maybe I took too much pity on ye." Zess had come up behind Dek and had her hands on her hips. She smirked at Dek and Avian.

Nick sat next to Demarae and watched her drink. "You dont have to drink it if you dont like it."

Wolf laughed and smirked. "Naw that just makes it more fun!"

Garm was heading towards the camp, but he stopped as Lani spoke off offending him. He looked down at her with a smile. "Y-you d-didnt d-d-do anthing t-to offend m-me, unless I d-did s-s-somthing to offend y-y-you."

Ad'iira cocked her head with a growing smile, "Is this another nefarious plot? Because if it is I want in. So who are the targets and how can I help"? She motioned the two over to the fireplace and the chairs facing it, "Please, take a seat".

De'sha had taken Liam by the scruff of his shirt and trotted over to the fire, placing the toddler down in the rug before curling around him protectively as she watched Cineal.

The stags ears flicked forward and twitched as Degger came to greet him. He lifted his head agains and shook out his mane before softly twittering at the hound.

Mirembe came to stand beside Degger and scratched his side with a soft giggle, "Does the big puppy like Cineal"?

Dek stood, twisting around to look at his Cap'n with a charming grin, "You'll have to forgive me Cap'n. With all the blood I was losing on the deck I must've mistaken your weapon for a talon and your angry screamin for a birds call. The memories get a little fuzzy right before I keeled over onboard". He winked at her as he rocked back on his heels innocently.

"It tastes strange and foreign, but it also makes my tongue tingle when I drink it. I think I shall give it more of a chance" Demarae replied as she licked the grogs foam from her smiling lips.

"Can't wait until she gets plastered and mistakes you for a mount too" Gavrielle chuckled as she sloshed her drink around in her mug.

Lani's eyes grew wide and she shook her head feverishly, "No! No! Of course not! Why would you-? I mean, how could you think-? I don't know what came over me... but I won't say I don't like it". She smiled a bit more as her spirits came back from her previous shock. She rested her head on Garm's shoulder and watched him with what appeared to be adoration before she closed her eyes.
