Wash peeped and ducked his back into a U shape, looking back at Maine with a faint growl.

Maine smirked and merely continued, finding great amusement in the actions right now as he applied just a bit more pressure and paid more attention to his spine and shoulders.

Wash yawned, his jaws stretching for a long time before his head fell and he laid exhausted on the ground.

Maine looked at him, continuing to pet washington as he looked at him. At least he'd seemed to of calmed down.
