Light shrugged, "I don't know..."

Alexis sat, kicking her legs under the table. Today was the day again, the day she was going to feel it. Once a month she could feel the terror, the pain of everyone she had killed, the guilt was unimaginable to anyone else other than one who had used the Death Note as much as she had.

L nodded once, walking to the counter.

Phong took a while to figure out what to get. "Er, I've never really been to a sushi restaurant before," she admitted. "I'll get the salmon-whatever-thing."

"Salmon Sushi Roll!" Alexis yelled at her from across the room, sighing. "Really, she is hopeless..." She murmered, her chin resting on her hand.

"Heard that!" Phong shouted back at her, causing some people to turn their heads to look at her and Alexis. "And I'm sorry if I don't know every kind of sushi there is in the world or something!" She turned back to the man behind the counter. "Anyway, I'd like two of those."

L shook his head slightly, almost like he was going to facepalm himself.

Light did facepalm himself, shaking his head at the same time, sighing.

Alexis continued to stare distantly out the window, her heart beating faster than usual, pain etched into her features. He position could have been taken as tired, but it seemed more on edge. Her sigh was more of pain than of weakness and her gaze never lingered on one thing for longer than a few minutes.

Phong didn't notice this as her back was turned to Alexis, focusing on the guy making sushi instead. L, however, did notice it since he was glancing at Alexis from the corner of his eye, wondering why she seemed so on edge today.

Light ordered some Miso soup, and then ran a hand through his auburn colored hair.

L looked at the man for a few minutes, the man sighing once in frustration before L finally ordered some random types of sushi and one bowl of miso soup.

Finally, Light walked over to the booth, sitting acrossed from A;exis on the other side of the table. "If you don't stop that expression, you are going to get frown lines." He murmered, but she didn't even notice him, her gaze continuing to watch the window.

"He's right, you know," Phong said, sitting down next to Alexis while L sat next to Light.
