"What complications?" L asked.

Light smiled, slowly getting up. "That's an extremely personal question..." He slowly shook Mello. "Mells, come on..."

[~Forbidden Truth~]

Mello grumbled something in his sleep, not wanting to wake up.
"I know you more than you think I do..." L murmured softly, then added, more loudly, "I'm only just curious, Light."

[Simply Emotional]

Light suddenly said something rather interesting, "But this life is much different from my others, L." He whispered, then picked Mello up. "I'll report for work in three hours time." He said as he headed out the door, ready to take Mello home.

L was slightly surprised. So, Light remembers his past lives, he thought, now wondering if all humans were reincarnated like Light was, and if they also looked the same, or if Light was just a special occasion. If lives were second chances, why did Light get two? he wondered.

Light carried Mello back home, saying hi to Matt as he laid Mello down on the couch, and left. He made it back to the investigation room around the time he said he would, and yawned, sitting down on the couch as his headache was slowly disappearing.

Mello laid still, though his eyes fluttered and twitched slightly, slowly gaining consciousness.

Light looked over at L from his spot on the couch, "So...what do you want me to do?"

[~Forbidden Truth~]

"Watari should have sent some funeral information, and I need you to work on three cases," L said. "Solve the cases first; the rest can wait."

[Simply Emotional]

"Alright." Light muttered, sitting down beside L on a computer chair, getting to work.
