(One On One Roleplay: Forbidden Truth & Simply Emotional)

"Light, are you aware that it is possible to die by being drunk and not sleeping on your side?" L asked, not knowing that Light was asleep because he was still staring at the computer screen.

[Simply Emotional]

Light continued sleeping, his body shifting every once in a while.

L let Light and Mello sleep, busy dealing with some cases.

As soon as early morning came, and Light woke up, he had an ear splitting headache. A huge hangover, to say the least. He rushed to the nearest bathroom, whatever was left of the beer or what he had eaten yesterday was flushed down the toilet quickly.

L sighed, knowing that this would have probably happened anyway. He assumed that Light had overdosed on alcohol, and a lot, seeing as how intoxicated he was. He vaguely remembered Light's drinking habits back in his old - or, well, first life, and wondered if it was those same habits that were still affecting him today, which made him slightly glad that the second Light wasn't an alcoholic from the start. "This is why Light-kun should not drink so much," L said simply, sparing a glance at Mello, who was still out cold. It made sense; Mello was more of a chocoholic than an alcoholic, and he was also younger than Light, so his body wouldn't have been able to handle as much alcohol.

Light came back after around an hour of clearing his system, and collapsed on the couch, holding onto his head and his side. "Stupid...hangover..."

(Dude, don't finish that sentence... Also, I'm drinking orange soda, but the bottle it's in looks kinda like a beer bottle...^^")

"Why did you drink so much, then?" L asked, thinking that most of the answer had to do with the partial beer addiction Light had in his "first life", though he knew he wouldn't get an answer like that from him.

Light gritted his teeth, "It takes me to simpler times." He hissed out, clutching his head.

"Times when you can't think right?" L said.

"No...times where my thoughts weren't so complicated..." Light chuckled weakly, "Doesn't matter though, the complications always come back the next day..."
