(One On One Roleplay: Forbidden Truth & Simply Emotional)

The doctor placed the needle next to Light's arm and quickly inserted it into his skin, giving him a small injection. Soon afterwards, he took the needle out and reached for a different one, this time empty.

Light kept his eyes closed, refusing to open them and look at the needles.

The doctor took some of Light's blood, just a tablespoon or two, and set that needle down. "I'll be back soon," he said, walking out with the tray.

Light still remained silent, listening to the soft humming sound coming from the light above the table.

L glanced over at Light, sighing softly. "Light."

Light made no comment, he didn't move at all, just laid there, hoping he would either die from blood loss or someone else would kill him.

"I'm sorry," L said quickly.

[Simply Emotional]

Light finally opened his eyes halfway. "For what?" He murmured softly.

"I don't know," L said. "Light-kun doesn't look happy, and I am ninety-nine percent sure it is my fault."

[Simply Emotional]

Light smiled, "I don't blame you for anything, L. You are the world's greatest detective after all. So, nothing could have ever been your fault." It was a lie, but it was a lie to save the rest of L's day. He closed his eyes again, his mile disappearing.
