L glanced down at Light. "Who's going to die?"

Phong halted, her eyes widening as a terrible pain grew in her chest. She let out a loud, ear-piercing scream, and fell to her knees, digging her nails into the stone, damaging her fingernails, though she didn't seem to notice it. She gasped for breaths that never came, and fell to her side, her heart feeling like it was going to rip itself out of her chest.
And then she fell limp.

[Simply Emotional]

Light panted, "Phong...died..." He whispered, trying to breath.

L's eyes widened, although you couldn't really tell since his eyes were already wide to begin with. "She did?" he said. "How do you know that?" He didn't stop, though, and dragged Light into the hospital.

[Simply Emotional]

"BB wrote her name down, I can...feel it..." Light winced, staring up at the ceiling as the world started blurring, and they finally closed.

"Ah, that's unfortunate," L said, taking Light into an emergency room - again.

[Simply Emotional]

Light thought for a long time, trapped in the bliss of the darkness. 'I just want to die now...it's over...this war...' He thought softly, just wanting to finally leave, to greet the darkness with open arms and a warm welcoming smile.

L dragged Light up onto a hospital bed, and waited for a doctor to come.
