[Amiko]

Annalise shook her head and stood up "I'll be fine. This really isn't the worst I've come away with." She smiled warmly despite her exhaustion then looked at the sky as it began to get lighter. Her eyes softened as she watched the colors change and felt the air change as well to something calm.


Stormie squirmed a bit before cuddling close to Alaina's chest and closing her bright red eyes while her purring got louder. As a cat, she was able to relax easier, because she was a smaller target and harder to find this way.

Callie slowly stood up but yelped when paxton and Morgan walked over to her "You stupid girl! You let it get away! We can't carry your weight all the time!"
Callie glared at Morgan and clenched her fists "I never said you had to...."

[She~Wolf]

"Hey! Knock it off!" Came a gruff voice. Lex walked up carrying his sniper over his shoulder, brown eyes bright with is anger. "You two are just as at fault. Do you know how incredibly lucky that he just wanted the girl? He would have easily burned you or just simply eaten you. At least Callie here got a shot at the girl, what did you two do except piss the thing off?"

Alaina shook her head and chuckled. "Well good thing my teacher likes cats, I'll just take you to school with me so the stupid mutts can't get you." She said, scooping her friend up. "You should get going Eric, your boss will be furious if your late for opening."
Eric nodded softly, "I'll see you later at the library." He pay Storm on the head softly and headed back down the stairs to the streets.

"Oh really? How much sleep did you get rescuing and patching up the girl?" He asked with a chuckle. He snooped around before finding an old pillow and blanket. "Someone had the right idea in this office... Here, sleep."

Morgan smirked and looked at Paxton who had a malicious look in his eyes. "We made sure wherever it takes her, we'll know. He tossed his phone to lex showing him a red puslimg light on it. He'd imbedded a tracking device into Annalise when the handcuffs locked around her wrists. " stupid thing won't know what hit him when we can get back to HQ and get a few others."

Callie glared at the ground before walking off with her bow and arrows. She knew full well she'd be getting an earful from Morgan and pax the minute lex was away, so for now, she planned to get away from them. She knew she needed to keep training, but when you keep getting paired up with hunters who thi k its their job to kill you along with their target, or those who are drunk with power, its hard to get the right kind of training in. She'd hit Annalise in the side, but if wasn't where she was aiming. The. Again she'd been terrified of the dragon when she saw it. She thought they were all dead, so to see one alive freaked her out.

Stormie rubbed her head into erics hand then hopped up onto alainas shpulder and mewed cutely purring in her friends ear and rubbing head black head against alainas cheek.

Annalise smiled over her shoulder and breathed shakily "actually....id rather not". No matter how much she trained herself to block pain, the arrow still embedded in her side was starting to burn.

"Don't be so sure. Dragons are not stupid creatures, this one is ancient just by the damned size. He may have his own tricks. We elther move fast and pray he isn't waiting for us." He said and tossed the phone back at the pair. "Honestly you two... Study the target before blindly attacking. Callie, where are you going?" He called, looking at her.

Ali chuckled softly and shook her head. "Some fierce fighter you are." She teased, scooping up her bag and headed outside.

Drakon tilted his head softly and sniffed. "Let me see the arrow."

Stormie growled softly but playfully but sat perched perfectly on her friends shoulder. She never wobbled like most cats would have or fidgeted. She had perfect balance here and was happy to be with Alaina for now.

Annalise moved slowly wincing internally, as each step made her side feel like it was burning. She'd been burned before, and its the only thing her mind could connect the pain to. Her vision was somewhat blurry as she walked but she never stopped moving until she got over to Drakon. She shuddered slightly but otherwise never showed her pain.

Morgan glared at Lex and walked off. She'd only just got up and came out to see Paxton going after Annalise. She still wasn't completely ready for the day herself yet.
Paxton followed morgan but glared at Callie.

Callie glanced over her shoulder at Lex and fought hard to keep her mind focused, She moved her quiver showing she'd used the last black arrow she had on her on the girl. "Not exactly smart to sit around right now for me." She was down to 3 normal arrows, but hadn't had a chance to refill. She'd been getting drug around from mission to mission by those she was teamed up with to train under. She wasn't good with a gun, but she was decent with her bow an arrows.

"Alright, go on." He sighed. Lex had been gone for nearly a year, and was used to dealing only with himself. He never really worked well with others.

Drakon gently examined her wound, before noticing that it was a black arrow. He snarled lowly. "We need to get you to my friends, now." He said lowly. "I didn't realize that was a black arrow, nor how deep it is."

Ali giggled softly. "You up there makes me look like a pirate. Common, it's gonna be a boring day for you." She said as she reached the school. "Play nice with the people ok?"

Stormie snorted softly and stared at Alaina like she'd grown a second head. Her eyes flicked around to the people they passed making her fur stand on end a bit.

Annalise smiled tiredly "i'll be ok." Her body swayed slightly before she widened her stance to keep herself upright and gently grabbed her head cursing softly. Annalise's body was getting harder for her to control but she wasn't about to show her pain. Not now or ever.

Callie went into a store and sighed softly fighting her own tears that came to her eyes. She'd seen Lex off before he left and had made him a promise that she'd be better as a hunter when he got back. He was the one who'd talked her into joining rather than working in a few other places. She'd really believed she could get better, but she never knew just how corrupt the hunters were. Those she was sent to train with were horrible people, and she couldn't learn from them. So she'd been teaching herself, but she wasn't good enough to push herself to where she needed to be yet.

Morgan glared at Callie when she walked into the shot and grabbed a black arrow that was there "Ya know....I'm REAAALLLL tired of you trying to show us up and act like youre-"
"Just shut up!" Callie's blue eyes glistened with tears and seemed overly dark. "I'm so sick and tired of you thinking just because you're older, and you've been around longer, that that means you're better than me and you can be a total b***h!!"

Morgan yanked Callie into a back room reserved for the hunters and slammed her into a wall "You really wanna mouth off to me right now? When I've got the LAST arrow here that you're looking for?"
Callie brought up her knee slamming it into Morgan's ribs and took the arrow from her. "I'm not scared of you anymore. Not after today."

Paxton was standing in the store talking to the owner about a sword of his that he'd left there to be fixed after 'Callie' broke it.

"Relax. Most are not half bad." She said softly. She headed down the halls, though the smells from what happened at the bridge hung around, mixed with new creature scents. "Someone's new around here..."

"Don't lie to me Annalie. I can practically smell your pain... We need that taken care of." He said and took a step back. He eyed the cuffs and kicked them away, sending them flying out of the building before he shifted again. 'I can carry you by tail.'

Lex moved to the edge of the city, sighing softly. The beast was gone for now, but he beloved he could find him again. He thought about Callie again, she was a nice girl, and trying hard. He headed everyone else he worked with, except her. He sighed and turned back, heading off to find her. He'd help her out, let her be better than everyone else.

Callie went to leave the room when Morgan slammed into her making her hit the door with a loud thud.

Callie jerked hard sending Morgan off her and stood up. Her red hair had fallen out of its normal ponytail and hung loose around her.
Morgan stood up with her pink hair down and pulled a dagger out from her boot "I'm so tired of you little girl."
Callie's eyes hardened as she shot out the door and slammed it behind her making Morgan hit it then moved quickly to the register and talked to the woman standing there. She went to buy her arrows she needed when she was yanked backward and thrown to the floor "OW!!"
Morgan stood over her with a bloody nose and a look to kill in her eyes.

Paxton came out of the back with the owner and his old sword back then ran over to Morgan and yanked her away from Callie before she could kick her. "Morgan stop!!"
Callie slowly pushed herself up off the floor listening to Morgan screaming and rubbed her head where she'd hit the tile floor.

Stormie sniffed the air then sneezed cutely a few times before looking at Alaina. She'd only ever been here once before, and that was on Alaina's first day. She came to help her friend find her classes, but quickly left afterwards feeling claustrophobic in the school. She didn't know any of these scents, so she couldn't be much help, but she moved a bit closer to her friends head with her tail flicking around. She didn't trust people.

Annalise went to say she was fine but wound up on the ground on her knees panting. After gritting her teeth she sat on Drakons tail and touched her side lightly feeling it burning worse.

Drakon wrapped his tail around her chest, avoiding her waist. Then he took off into the air, heading west ward, far from both cities and towards the mountains. The was a large home resting in one of them. 'Were here... Ah, Arielle is already waiting.' He though to her, he hovered in the air, gently laying her down, before he shifted.
Arielle, in her human form, helped Anna up, "easy there, so you let her in on the secret?"
"I didn't have a choice. I wasn't about to let her be harmed again for helping us." He said with a sigh.

Ali scratched her head. "If you want to run off, just stay close by ok? Don't leave campus for three hours... That's all I have today."

Lex growled as he walked up, seeing the mess before him. "What the hell is wrong with you Morgan?!" He growled lowly, helping Callie up. "You ok?"
