Ruby sighed and frowned as she rested her head on Eric's chest. She could hear the others outside in the hall but she didn't want to deal with anyone, or any more crap from them.



Seeing it was only leor, Anna snorted a bit before grabbing the deer and walking off as well. When she was out of everyone's sight she ripped off another leg and sat it to the side for ria before she curled around the rest of it letting her body's natural coldness seep into the body and make it colder.


Leors chuckled a bit and shrugged "Caleb needed me to get Claire's little play thing out here. " He smirked watching Anna then glanced back at drakon "seems she's adjusting well. How's her wing control so far?"


Gale shuddered and pulled away feeling dizzy before sighing "they're still a handful. They miss you by the way" she glanced towards the room ruby was in feeling an odd pain from the room but brushed it off knowing this wasn't her family to protect or care for. She then glanced back at Claire slowly "hiro might need your help again too. He's been having some issues with his ice being overprotective, even more than usual."


The bear roared loudly and went to slam his massive paw into Bryn when stormie shot over to them and got hit instead and flew a little ways away from how hard she'd been hit before she crashed into a bush with a squeak. She lay there shuddering a bit and tried to pull herself up but her body hurt too much so she just lay there panting.


Paxton smacked Lex's hand away and growled out "I'm not calling anyone out here."

Claire chuckled softly "well with the Eldest two off enjoying the world, and two little ones on the way again I don't blame him. He was probably excited to have freedom again, and it's doing double stress on aela. I promise to visit soon with little Alexander soon. Before I do I want to make sure he's the type of demon I think he is... apparently Calebs side restores lost noble demons." She chuckled softly. "Let me tend to everyone here and I'll return, you have permission to smack Leor upside the head too, he should be resting as well."

Eric kissed her head softly, keeping her close. "I will say, you handled your flames like a boss." He chuckled. "No one got hurt except your target... and now I get a warm thing to cuddle too." He said playfully.

"Wing storms have hunkered down, but she is exsausted. Hopefully with Claire's assistance I can lock this place down enough to help her learn our ways enough to not be a target.. and help the our bond so she can't be used against me." He sighed. "Caleb should have known that I wasn't going to let his beloved get hurt, I'm more indented to her since she came running after having her baby in that bizzarly time complicated world of his..." he sighed.

Ria chirped happily, purring and nuzzling against Anna like a happy kitten.

"Stormie!" Bryn cried out. He snarled and lunged at the shifter, yanking out his silver dagger and driving it into the shifters neck.

Gale shook her head a bit and turned away but stopped and glanced over her shoulder at Claire again as though there was something more on her mind but she just walked off without another word and left the house before standing behind leor quietly letting him talk to drakon.


Ruby didn't smoke at all. Instead she just stayed quiet as tears slowly started building in her eyes. She slowly tightened her grip on his shirt and shut her eyes tight trying to tell herself not to cry.


Leor laughed and shook his head but glanced back at gale when she came out of the house. "It's not that he doesn't trust you. It's that he's about as protective as a wolf of their new pupa when it comes to her. Hes lost a few too many lovers that he's a bit overprotective of her.". He kept glancing at gale off and on and seeing just how out of it she looked "hey flutters, you alright? You look a little lost"

Gale kept staring at the ground completely lost in thought until she felt a tongue on her cheek and squealed making leor laugh. He'd had to lock her cheek a few times to being her back to the here and now before smiling "your family is fine. Stop worrying so much.". With a chuckle he looked back at drakon "how's your daughter doing being back here?"


Anna gently blew a puff of air at ria ans smirked watching her roll away a little. There was a soft smile on her muzzle as she watched little ria and rested her chin on the snow. She'd yet to tell anyone, but she really loved the young dragon. A part of her that knew she'd never have kids of her own made her attach herself that much more to the little girl, because ria waa the closest shed ever have to a child.


The shifter roared loudly before he slowly reverted to his human look as his body shuddered and fell limply to the ground.

Stormie was somewhat tangled up in some thorny vines that were on the bush but her body was just completely sore from how hard she'd been hit too.

Eric sighed softly and held her close. "I'm sorry. I was just trying to make you feel better."

Drakon chuckled softly "i understand that, but he does need to remember that she has control of two plains of hell, and is the child of an angel. There's very few things that can hurt but so long as she stays in balance." he said, then looked over towards Anna and Ria. "She's happier than a pup, I think her time with the hunters is far from her mind." He said, chuckling when he saw a little bit of flame.

Ria squawked a bit in surprise, getting a nose full of snow. She shook her head and sneezed, a little puff of flame jetting out. She bowed playfully and charged at Anna, landing on the bigger dragons muzzle. She looked into Anna's eyes and purred happily, nuzzling her.

Bryn kept off the shifted, putting his blade away. He hurried to stormie and pulled the thorns away. "Easy, easy."

Ruby sniffled and spoke softly in a broken voice "I miss him....". Her body shuddered as a few tears slowly rolled from the corners of her eyes. Her grip tightened on Eric's shirt as she began losing the fight against her teara and wound up just letting them roll down her cheeks.


Leor chuckled and shook his head "at least she's happy. Since the kids got snippy last time I tried leaving i might as well see them before I go" he snapped his fingers opening a portal to an open field that had ice glistening ain a few places. Gale instantly shot through it and tackled hiro in a hug when she saw him making leor laugh before shutting it again. He'd seen gale open up more over the years, but only to her little family. Outside of it she still wouldn't speak up or look at anyone.



Anna chuckled and stared down at ria making her cross-eyed. Her eyes softened with love as she lifted her head a little.


Leor smirked watching Anna and ria then looked at drakon "seems you're not the only one to love the girl anymore."


Stormie thrashed a bit and growled deeply with cloudy eyes.

"Anna is the only female dragon she's come across besides herself. She has me, only natural to find that missing price." Drakon said in a soft tone, letting out a soft sigh.

"I miss him too Bee." Eric said softly, holding her close.

Bryn held her close before taking off back towards home. "I got you, I got you."

Leor patted his shoulder and smiled a bit "be that as it may, that doesn't mean she would love her. Ria could hate your little ice friend for being ice, and for taking your attention. But look at them drakon" he turned his friend and chuckled watching Anna lift her head with ria on her muzzle before dropping her on her back with a look of love and warmth in her eyes. "somehow, you got lucky enough to find someone your daughter fell in love with too. "



Ruby whimpered as she cried softly and just clung to Eric trying hard to not fall to pieces completely. The longer she was here with the others, the more she missed her dad and his warmth.


Stormie hissed and jerked around in Bryn's arms with her fur standing on end.

Airwen lay breathing weakly but managed to grab his crossbow and barley managed to hit Leon in the back of the neck with a bolt. When Leon hit the ground he layed there shaking and growling a bit. Airwen had been told about the man's one weak spot from an old fight, and he was lucky into hit it. Airwen smirked weakly and slowly managed to move his head but winced seeing Fawkes body laying still on the ground wirh fire slowly burning his body from Leon.

Drakon chuckled and shook his head. "Dragon kings usually bond with the first adult dragons they see and hear. She knew me from her time as an egg, but Anna is the first female dragon she saw.... but putting the dragon biology lessons asside, I'll let you have it." He chuckled softly. "Now I know I'm keeping you away from you're own love, go spend some time pretending to recover before she comes and grabs you." He said with a smirk.

"It's ok to miss, it's ok to mourn." Eric said softly, kissing her head. "I'd be far more worried if you didn't Bee. Let it out."

"Storm knock it off!" He huffed, stopping and holding her away from his chest. "I'm sorry I had to use magic on you, but I don't understand why you're so angry! How would you have been waking up from the demons hold to see what you could have done?! I couldn't let you do that! I love you you dumb feline minx, I love you so much it hurts. And I will put up with your fit, your anger, and your hate of me till I die ok?"

Stormie screeched and trashed around hard with glassy eyes. In her weakened state the air below the mountain had hit her hard in a short time, and had clouded her mind with the same sickness as so many others. All she could hear was white noise, ans all she felt was fire pulsing through her veins.


Leor laughed a bit and patted drakon shoulder before nodding towards Anna and ria ”you know ria will have a lot of questions one day, and they won't all be easy to answer with your little friend around." With that he walked into the house and shuddered a bit at the sudden warmth before his ears caught Eric's voice. With a smirk he walked up to the room ans opened the door without ever caring about knocking ,"awwww. Has someone finally grown up and admitted he likes a pretty pretty princess?"

Ruby had relaxed only a little and lay there crying until the door was suddenly thrown open. At her sudden tension her body heat rose as flames began sparking from her fingertips.
