Annalise slowly stood up letting the snow fall away from her showing a handful of patches where her scales were missing now. She slowly!ade her way over to drakon without a word and lightly pressed her muzzle against his before she pulled back and layed down not even glancing at the deer. ,"You know im bad luck. I always have been."



Ruby stayed quiet just staring at the wall as nheat rolled off her body for a minute before it stopped again. Nothing made sense to ruby now, and without her father to run to she felt completely lost.


Stormie growled lowly as she stayed to the shadows as she moved. A oart of her still wanted nothing more than to jump him, but as angry as she was she was able to push the desire down and to the back f her mind . There was a bit of a film slowly forming across her eyes as she felt a tingling in the back of her mind but she tried to push it away.


Callie slowly looked at lex with a coldness in her eyes. She kicked off the wall again and walked up to him and smacked him hard across the face making a bunch of the others wince "ohh".
"That...is for leaving me alone in this god forsaken place with these people for so long, and this.....is because I missed you" she then leaned up and kissed him gently. Callie had been honestly terrified to be here for so long without lex around.


Fawkes slowly glanced at mark and touched her head lightly but his expression nevwr changed from an annoyed look from having to be here.

Nari flinched a bit and sighed, shaking her head. "I don't feel like they can help. I think the Dragons words would be better use."

Lex was surprised for a moment, rubbing his jaw. "Ouch, woman I've been working my arse off to make deals to get you out of here... I'd never just leave you hear." He huffed, but pulled her close. "When I told you I love you I meant it."

"Lass common! I had no choice! You were going bonkers! Or did you forget you tried to kill me?" He called with a sigh. "I tried... I tried hard to not hurt you, and tried even harder to break that demons hold. I'd never hurt you like that when you're in your right mind, you know that!"

The door slowly opened as Eric poked his head in "bee? How you doing?"

"No you not." He said softly, nuzzling her back."people see you as a way to get to me, but creatures don't know, I can't be taken down that way. My pupil made a pact with me, my family and myself are protected by her power, includes all of them down there. It includes you too, as you quite literally have apart of me. The bond most share does take a bit to strengthen, but with being as much under stress as you have been it's not letting it do its job."

Anna sigjed softly and rested her chin on her front legs as her tail curled around her body. "Drake.....why did you pit your life on the line to save me? " She never looked at him but rather looked around below at the house and the heat she would see from everyone's bodies. Her voice was soft as she spoke, because after all the fighting and the pain, she felt drained, and tired of pushing so hard lately"


Ruby glanced at Eric with flames glowing behind her eyes making the amber color glisten but she stayed quiet. Honestly she didn't know how to answer the question, so sjw didn't attempt to.


The sound of bones cracking echoed a little ways away before stormie growled out "there is always a bloody choice...." Along with his magic, Bryn had a bit of control over her through the mark she'd given him, and she hated herself for it. Because when he yelled now, or gave her a command it hurt her to not listen. Her tail hung limply behind her though it was puffed up. She slowly glanced at her scarred body and growled feeling anger and an odd tingling growing in her head.


Callie huffed and wrapped her arms around his neck "oh yea I can sooooo tell leaving me here where I'm more likely to die than if I was out of here". She'd been going stir crazy being cooped up and she'd had to save Paxton a few times since he still couldn't walk on his own, and trying to walk with crutches and defend himself didn't work in his favor.


Fawkes sighed and wound up sitting down slowly but kept his hand on naris head. "They'll get it. Just have some faith in them." His golden eyes flicked up when he heard the glass doors at the front of the building shatter. He then stood and looked at her "you coming or staying here pup?"

Drakon looked at her with softness in his solid blue eyes. He left out a soft sigh and shook his head. "When I met you, I thought you were just a typical human...then I saw you from above with that wounded, young neko, I knew that you were special. You fought, time and time again for what was right. And when you were at the library, desiring to learn more about these creatures so you could help...you are smart, fearless, selfless, kind, loyal, compassionate...beautiful. You have awoken something in me I never thought I'd feel again Anna...and I was not going to loose you."

Eric walked in and closed the door, looking at her softly. "Are you hurting at all?"

Bryn's eyes snapped to the trees where Stormie was, finding her like a hawk. "I would never hurt you, but you were litterally trying to tear my throat and heart out." he said,pulling at his torn shirt. The dark grey shirt was now almost black looking, soaked in his blood, scratched on his neck were clear as well. "They possessed you Kitten, I didn't want to command or hurt you...but I had to to get you to snap out of it and realize it was me you were mauling. You were trying to kill me! I'm sorry that you feel betrayed, I'm sorry I scared you but I had no choice in it Stormie! Your feral rage left me with the options to snap you out of it or just let you kill me."

He sighed softly. "Theres an outbreak going on too Cal, I moved as fast as I could...and you weren't going to be hurt. Goldie wasn't going to let you get hurt, or that silver one Pax is dealing with."

Nari snorted with disgust. "Faith? Yes lets have faith in the people that butchered my litter mates and kept me as their personal test subject and play thing." she growled a bit, but she followed him, not wanting to be alone in this place. "The only three that didn't harm me are the the two love birds and that really cranky one thats in the infirmary."

Fawkes had a flame slowly forming around his left hand as they walked despite the magic in the building that should have stopped him. "If you don't have faith they'll find your cure you can just lose hope the others will ever be OK again." He stopped when he saw airwen laying in a puddle of blood and in the glass from the doors. He breathed slowly and exhaled a bit of smoke "im going to need you to trust in them this time my little vixen and have you help him."
Leon stood a ways away smiling darkly with a black magic orb pulsing in his right hand and an odd look in his eyes making Fawkes growl. "Let the flame breather know.....the one he's looking for is in a place shielded by an odd magic on am island out in the tropics. Hell find her easy enough if he hasn't forgotten about the past" he then calmly walked over airwen and outside as a wall of flames erupted where the doors once were keeping everyone else safe.


Callie chuckled softly and pulled back but grabbed Lex's hand and spoke quickly "Paxton let's go". Without saying anything Paxton left the room followed by Callie still holding Lex's hand. She wasn't about to say anything in front of the others that could potentially screw her and Paxton over.


Stormie growled deeply and slowly looked towards Bryn with a glassy look in her eyes. And growled out lowly "there is always another way other than f***ing magic!" A deep growl rumbled nearby as a male shifter slowly walked towards the two twitching with the same!w glassy look in his almost dead eyes.


Ruby sighed shakily and mumbled "I'm always hurting Eric. That's just part of my life since I can't completely control this gods forsaken fire I got from my father"


Anna looked up at drakon before she slowly stood up again. Her body protested and screamed in pain but she ignored it easily as she moved closer to him and slid her head under his chin and closed her eyes. For years she'd been trying to push whst she felt for him away because not only was he someone she could never have, but with her cancer she would have just hurt him more if she'd got close to him. Then they had one fight after another pop up and she kept feeling like she was a pain, espewhen she found she couldn't fly like he and the others wanted. But for now, she was tired of fighting everyone else and herself. Her half of his heart beat a little harder as a warmth spread through her and a soft smile graced her muzzle.

Jace was laying in his room silently. He'd had a chunk taken out of his side earlier and was slowly letting his body heal after draining a mountain goat he'd had Ali catch. He'd made sure he locked the door to keep her and the others out because as much as he might care for her, in his current state he'd drain any of them without thinking twice to heal himself faster.

[She~Wolf]

A soft knock came from the door of jaces room.

Drakon let out a soft put in his voice, nuzzling into her as he smirked. "I'm glad you fee the same then."

"Well, you ought be able to learn." He said softly with a smile. "There's Drakon, he is basically fire, Ari is getting good at spells so she might be able to help... but if push comes to shove there is the king of vampires, Claire's step son. You can learn to control your fire, your own personal beast. I have faith you can."

"I tried love! I called for you, bugged for you! And you did this!" Bryn growled. "You were locked away, to where I couldn't reach you unless I used what the demons didn't have. I wasn't going to let you kill me and have them try to kill the others!"

"Hold on, I got two creatures that I left alone with Air. I gotta make sure they get too." He said softly. Suddenly he hear a shriek, calling for Fakes. He raced ahead to see Nari on her tail and a wall of flames infront of her. "What the hell?!"
"A hunter...he had a dark orb... Airwen was in there too.. he...he." The young fox demon shook and reverted to her fox form, cowering in panic. Lex growled lowly and scooped her up. "Cal, PAx... lets go!" He said, rushing back to them.

Jaces dark eyes snapped open as he growled deeply but he didn't move. He still wasn't healed enough to deal with others just yet.


Annalise stayed quiet for a while and just stayed where she was. Her mind was screaming at her to not get too close to him, but the more she pulled away the worse she felt. After a little while she slowly pulled back and looked down towards the others again. She'd noticed that since shed changed, she'd become a bit more distant from everyone else and she wasn't really sure why. Anna tilted her head seeing an odd portal open just outside the house before a blonde woman walked out looking tired alongside leor. She slowly tilted her head seeing an odd aura around the blonde but stayed quiet.


Ruby sighed heavily and moved a bit to look at Eric better "they were all born with the ability to control what they have Eric. I wasn't. So it's just a constant pain I deal with." She shrugged a bit but didn't take her eyes off him. Ruby had accepted her fate many years ago that without her tether to the fire demon she once had shed never be able to truly control her fire.


Stormie growled deeply and twitched a bit before her body shuddered and slowly shifted back to her cat form.
The male shifter slowly turned into an odd looking cat with green marks in his fur and darted forward snarling and went straight for stormie before he bowled her over and bit down hard on her scruff.
(-clears throat-)


Callie glanced away before Paxton sighed and rolled his eyes "not happening. Not with everything that's happened since we got here"
Callie kept her eyes off lex before she felt the ground rumble and looked up quickly hearing an explosion outside.

Airwen cracked open his eyes and breathed shakily feeling like hell now. 'note to self, if you live through this bloody town....never go up against high mages with sanity issues again'

[She~Wolf]

Lex growled lowly, wincing at the explosion. "Guys, I'm not risking leaving you here if Airwen is down. All hell is breaking loose and you three are targets."

Bryn snapped forward, ripping the cats jaws open and throwing him against a tree. "She's mine you little rat." He snarled

"You never know... and may I remind you that little waddles has made us change the drapes twice since she's been here. Everyone needs to learn, maybe you can too." He said softly, taking her hand in his.

Drakon pressed his muzzle against her head. "Let's go see who visits." He said softly.

"Easy kid. I just want to see how your doing." Claire's voice said softly.

Anna moved a little and smirked whispering "see you at the bottom" the snow along the mountain moved a but as her tail flicked before she curked in on herself ans rolled down the higher spot they were at. She'd figured out that as long as there was snow she could move to her will, she could roll where she needed since she had no capability to fly.


Leors head snapped up hearing the rumbling of the snow and then of Anna. He laughed a bit before grabbing the woman and jumping back a bit to be ckesr of the snow and the dragon. He didn't see many ice sragons alive anymore, but the few he did always made him laugh to watch them roll around in the snow.


Gale waited until kept moved back before she vanished and appeared beside claire and sighed "you know Lord Blackwell is worried about you". Gale looked drained and had dark circles under her eyes as she spoke. Normally, she didn't get called to be a messenger, but Caleb had forced her to his side and made her come here. He was still stuck down in bed for a while as he finished his recovery from earlier. Her teal eyes slid to the door hearing the snarling on the other side but she brushed it off as she looked at Claire again.


Stormie was trembling on the ground with her eyes half lidded and meowing as she squirmed bit. The shifter shuddered before he slowly turned into a bear and roared loudly.


Paxton glared at lex "and we're bigger targets trying to move! Neither of us have a decent defense anymore! We're still bonded but we no longer have them where they can help! In fact, both of us are about as bloody useful as my sisters!"
Callie sighed and turned away from lex befoee she walked off without a word.


The flames guarding the front door grew a bit before they began to die down.
A high pitched screech came from outside before the flames suddenly vanished just as a loud explosion sounded nearby.


Ruby sighed and lightly squeezed his hand "how can you be so optimistic all the time?"

"Because I try to look to the brighter side. It's a lesson your dad taught remember?" He said softly.

Drakon laughed before taking to the air with the deer and following her down the mountain. He landed just after she did, dropping the deer and shifting. "Ah! Well well Leor, didn't expect you back so soon."
Ria burst out of the house in full waddle, running for the buck and tackling it, making Drakon huff. "Sweetscales, that's for Anna."
Ria whined softly, her big green eyes pleading a bit, making Drakon sigh again. "Alright, on leg little miss. You need to wait for dinner later."
Ria squeaked happily, tearing off one leg before draggingg it away.

Claire frowned softly, placing her hands on the girls cheeks. "And he knows I don't like it when he bosses you around. He can last a few hours without me, and Salem and Lilly can handle her baby brother for a short while too." She said softly, she lent Gale some strength to help her feel a little better. "Besides, I am the only one that can handle demon lords. My teacher needed help, and he's under a similar deal as you. I always keep my bargains... how's your family by the way? "

Bryn snarled as his green magic erupted, snarling lowly. His wings spread out and whipped forward, shooting out dagger feathers at the shifter.

Leo sighed and grabbed Paxton's collar and yanking him closer.. "You have that little magic stone demon that assists you right? She's came to your aid before, she seems to take an interest in your well being." He said in a hushed tone.
