Mist stared at his retreating form, gaping. After she shook herself, she really did bang her against a tree. The she smushed her face into the ground and yowled her frustration and confusion, hoping the ground would muffle it somewhat.

Why didn`t I just drive her out of our territory?thought Leopardpaw as she curled up to sleep. and what did she have to hide? Wondered Leopardpaw when she thought how Mist said she didn`t have time to scent the borders. I wonder where She is now. Was Leopardpaw`s last thought before she fell into sleep.

At sunrise Soulstar woke and started heading to the border.

Mist sat facing east, watching the sun rise over the horizon. This time, she'd made sure she could scent anyone coming from inside the border. Every few minutes, she would raise her head and sniff the air. But mostly, she was just lost in thought, replaying the events of last night until they were etched into her mind.

Oakstar jumped queitly from tree to tree, and then jumped in front of the waiting Mist. "Well?" He asked. "Remember no one is going to make you stay."

[DeMaizu]

Mist jumped, then cursed herself for spacing out. She stared at him, thinking about how he had pulled Whitefoot into line so easily. His actions reminded her of an old aquaintance, except less likely to explode into fits of anger, turning into a completely different cat. As her thoughts started to remind her of her old leader and her habits, Mist tried to suppress a shiver of unease. After regarding him in silence for a little while, she sighed.
"What will happen if I only come to look at your camp, and decide then?"

"Nothing bad will happen." Said Oakstar. "Although some cats might be a little hostile." He said thinking of how Whitefoot had treated her."Follow me I will show you the way, keep up as best you can." He said then jumped into the trees.

[DeMaizu]

Mist sighed, ticked. How many of these cats are like him? she couldn't help thinking as she leaped after him.
Jumping from branch to branch, she followed as Oakstar led her deeper back into the forest. She knew it probably had nothing to do with Oakstar or Leopardpaw, but she couldn't shake the feeling something bad was going to happen. What and how bad a thing it was, she wasn't sure, but her sense of foreboding wouldn't leave her. (and no, it's not like with your other story. Not at all as bad as the other one!)

Where did Oakstar go? wondered Leopardpaw. because she was awake when Oakstar left. Should I have followed him? No if he caught me it would betray his trust. Leopardpaw thought decidedly.I wonder where Mist went.

"Here we are." Said Oakstar stopping outside the gorse tunnel. "This is Thunderclan camp." He said turning his head to Mist. "If you decide not to stay you must not tell any one where are camp is." He said while slowly walking into Thundercaln camp. "Oakstar where have you been? I saw you leave camp." asked Leopardpaw then she spotted Mist. "Never mind that, what is she doing here? She said flicking here tail towards Mist. "I asked her to join the clan when I saw how she got you to come tumbling down." Oakstar replied. "Wait, I thought you said you only heard part of are conversation." Said Leopardpaw. "I did, but we saw you before we heard you." Said Oakstar calmly. "But, wait. . . Did you just say you asked Mist to join the clan? "Yes, I did but she wants do see are camp before she decides. Said Oakstar "Mist, would it be ok if Leopardpaw showed you around? I have other things I need to do."

[DeMaizu]

"Yeah, I guess so." Mist flicked her tail. She wasn't sure how she felt about Leopardpaw, but she followed her deeper into the camp anyway. Her sense that something was going to go wrong still hadn't left her, instead getting stronger.

"First place is the elders den." Leopardpaw called over her shoulder with out stopping. Why did Oakstar tell me to show her around camp? Wondered Leopardpaw as she lead Mist into the elders den. Why did he ask Mist to join Thunderclan? Sure we are a little short on Warriors but I don`t think any of the clans are causing trouble. "This is Patchear, Redfawn and that`s Rufflepelt back there." Said Leopardpaw flicking her tail towards the far end of the den.
