Shay splayed her ears, frowning in confusion...though Fannin seemed to understand, the stark brown fae swallowing hard as she dipped her head, her eyes dim with sympathy.
"...I'm sorry for your loss..."

She giggled, laughing as she nudged him playfully into the chilly water and slick mud. "-Ha, we're filthy!"

~EVER AND RILKE~

Ever suddenly paused, narrowing her eyes uneasily as she pushed little Rilke away, her fur rumpled up fretfully.
"-Have any of you wolves seen Shay and Fannin? Huh... Mayzi's gone too...?"

~FLASK~

The dark wolf prickled his ears attentively, not seeming to even look up as he softly dipped his head. "-Hmm, I thought I had told you...oh well... I've sent Alue to take care of that new pack, just as a small test... I'm not exactly sure how it's going to work out, really... Sara, fae, do you mind joining us for the hunt?"
He cocked a small brow, his tone casual, eased...completely unlike him.



~ALUE~

The scrawny fae gave a soft, tender whine, letting innocence and youth play over her eyes as she shrank back, the pup whimpering as she splayed her feeble ears, playing into the act.
"...I-I don't know where I came from... I, I just need a home... Help,"
she managed, letting her voice waver, just for a satisfying effect, honest, gullible.

Ateal:
Ateal tilted his head happily. "Yea! I love to catch them. I'll show you!" He barked cheerfully. Ateal sniffed, he specifically tried to smell rabbits, but he caught whiffs of squirrel, mouse, and birds. He finally caught a whiff of a rabbit and he looked around, trying to spot the animal. He saw the little white fluff of the tail on a white hare. He slowly dropped into a crouch, focusing of the white creature. This rabbit wasn't as big, but still big for him to catch. Ateal crawled closer, lifted his foot each step not to startle the rabbit. He inched closer, waiting for the right moment. He got close and snuck right behind the rabbit. Then, out of sudden movement, he leaped, catching the rabbit's back with his claws. He had to be quick. He jammed his jaws onto the spine again, and once again, the snap he could feel as the spine cracked in two. He watched the rabbit fall limp, right onto his paws.

Jock:
Jock's eyes soften, he felt sorry for the pup. "Oboe, what do you think?" He looked to his alpha, waiting for his response.

The black Desert fae tipped her head to the side, fur prickling at her own forceful voice, ears back...And then the surprise and bit of unease were gone. She hummed as she said "Thought you meant later..." Shaking her head, she looked at the dark male as he invited her to join them in their hunt. The fae said "Sure, Flask. -censored-! I mean, yes Felidae..."

Zinia glanced up as she saw Jock come in, he had completely ignored her...Snorting, she turned back to Oboe. Seeing it, she, was a pup, Zinia spoke up. "It's a pup, Alpha. She's just a pup..."

The gritty brute turned to Sara quizzically, his ears playing a soft flicker as he narrowed his eyes.
"...For now you may call me Flask...but the moment we hit range of the camp, I will be known only as your Felidae,"
he barked lowly, blinking as he steadily watched Ateal, approval flickering in the detphs of his eyes.
"-Hmm, well aren't you a natural... Here, Birdie, have you ever thought of catching bigger prey? Perhaps you could be even better than your sister, no?"
He murmured quietly, letting the idea fly...though he could sense it. Alue was bitter with lust, she was priceless, elite and if control... Ateal didn't have that. Neatly tucking his tail over his paws, the dark wolf smiled pleasantly.
"-I'd hard to see you turn around as some Wes or loner."



~ALUE~

The scrawny fae played the act skillfully, elitely, her little paws quivering with that rush of adrenaline as she gave a shaky nod, her silvery eyes tainted with pure innocence.
"-W-Who are you?? Is this a pack?? What are you going to do to me??"
She whimpered quietly, tucking her stubby little tail between her legs submissively, fearfully.

Ateal:
Ateal grabbed his rabbit. "What do you mean?" He muffled, not understanding Flask quite well. "And Felidae, do you have any use of this rabbit, I already caught some, I mean, if not, I will gladly take it." He then dropped the rabbit. "Felidae, is there any way I can get you to accept me?" He tilted his head, serious about the question. He didn't want to be weak, if he could show Alue he wasn't weak, wasn't a child anymore, was her brother..

Jock:
"My name is Jock, this is our alpha, Oboe, we won't hurt you. Which way did you come from, maybe we could help you home." Jock nodded carefully, dropping to the pup's eyelevel.

She huffed and hummed as she said "Yes, Fel- Flask." She sat down beside him, tail flicking, and her tongue licked her lips in delight. "Me, or Ateal?" she questioned.

Zinia tipped her head to the side. "Well, THIS isn't a pack. We are just...us..." she said and shrugged.

Her thoughts seem to all come together, her eyes flashing with bitter intelligence for just a moment, sly, mischeivious, daunting...and then it was gone, and she was shivering with that youth, innocence.
"...My- My home... It's gone...they're all, all gone... I can't go back,"
she sniffled, whining pitifully, her breaths raspy, hoarse, with emotion as she stared at her paws dimly. She seemed to pull off the act with ease, her stubby little tail tucked between her legs with obediance, submissive.
"...I- I wanna join a...a pack. I wanna be safe..."

The black pelted fae huffed and snorted as she shook out her desert made coat. She rolled her eyes a bit, at the pup. Tail flicking, it finally settled round her paws. Snorting, she began "Where-" then cut off. "Oh, I may be able to spare a young Birdie..." she huffed.

Zinia
"Look at the poor thing, Oboe...She is terrified, shaking so, like a leaf. Oh, we have to help her." she said. She soft said "Come here, little one."

Ateal:
Ateal stuttered, one time maybe.. His thoughts swirled, "Would Alue be proud?" It was what he wanted now. He was ready if Alue would be proud.

He murmured, nodding to Sara carefully before he turned, crouching down to Ateal's eye level.
"...I'm sure she'd be very proud, little one..."



~ALUE~

Alue nodded shakily, taking a wary step forward, her rusty fur cackling with uncertainty, unease. After a moment she whimpered, splaying her ears with raw emotion as she curled up beside the fae, sniffling as she pushed her nose into her warm, conforting pelt...and then she was crying.
She could feel the act all slip away, her eyes blurry, her chest welling up with horrid thoughts, memories she was just too young to bear. Ateal hating her, Flask's glance of approval for what she had done, that poor pup... Whimpering, she quietly drew away, numbly splaying her feeble ears.
"...Please..."
