The stark brown pup gritted her teeth, flattening her ears. "-We fell in. Deal with it."

She frowned, splaying her little ears as she flopped back down beside him, nodding slowly.

~EVER AND RILKE~

Ever suddenly paused, narrowing her eyes uneasily as she pushed little Rilke away, her fur rumpled up fretfully.
"-Have any of you wolves seen Shay and Fannin? Huh... Mayzi's gone too...?"

~FLASK~

He grinned venomously, his ears prickling attentively as he gave a wicked laugh of amusement, nodding cruelly. "-A Maven is made out of a Birdie the moment they pass the test, no matter their age... Oh, yes, yes indeed...Hmm, I kind've like the sound of it, really. Alue. Alue,"
he twisted the name in his maw, his tone crooked, viscous, deafening...it was perfect. The idea of the scrawny little fae seemed to make him splay his ears, and for a moment, he seemed almost fatherly, tender. Shaking it off, the large brute stiffened.



~ALUE~

She took a staggering step back, horror, astonishment, flickering in her silver eyes...shocked. Swallowing, hard, she did her best to breath, her stomach clenching up tight with disbelief.
"...Ateal..."
She couldn't understand it, her mind failing to wrap around the idea, her thoughts jagged, choppy...
"...A-Ateal, I...I know I broke our promise, and I'm sorry... I'm not a murderer, I-I'm not- I'm just- just-"
braking off, the ginger pup gave him a soft, reassuring nudge, comforting, soothing, her ears splayed with sudden determination as she sat down curtly infront of him, sticking out her chin in defiance.
"-No. We'll be something much, much better... We'll be Felidae's, even better than what mum and da were- Okay? Together. We'll have mavens and knaves and birdies and wes's that will all be at our command, an entire forest, just for us. It'll be grand, Ateal, I know it... Stay here with us, with me."

"Listen to your sister, tiny one, she's totally right. You two will be the most powerful wolves in the entire forest if you wish..." the maven whispered crookedly, letting out a tiny chuckle.

The white pup snorted, standing up. "Oh, I have no problem with you staying around, but, what will your packs say?" he huffed, standing up. "You should go back" with that added, Bhangi took the crystal around his tiny jaws again.

She sucked in a sharp quivering breath, her feeble ears flattening with raw attention.
"...Ateal, you WILL stay here. You WILL be of use, and you WILL learn- it's not as bad as you think it is... Sometimes you act too much like a baby, you know that? Grow up,"
she barked harshly, not even thinking straight as she turned, thrashing her stubby little tail with defiance.
"-Why can't you just be happy for me? Why can't you just see that I'm about to risk my life to save that little butt of yours?? I'm leaving for a few days, and I'm going to make Flask and Briska proud- why? Because I love you, Ateal, and I can't let anyone hurt you, got that?? Just stop being so selfish and get over it,"
Alue spat, ruffling up her splotchy fur as she stormed out of the den, shaking her head numbly. Why couldn't he understand?

Ateal:
Ateal looked at the wolf, his sad eyes gazing up. He'd been through so much today, that he didn't even care if the wolf was tricking him. He didn't care anymore. Nothing could hurt him as badly as seeing Alue a killer, a terrible, murderous wolf. The worst part was, it seemed like Alue enjoyed it. Ateal wanted affection, he wanted love, he wanted Alue, the Alue who he'd play with, the Alue he could trust, the Alue he knew. He crawled to the wolf, whimpered softly. "yea.." He sniffed. "It's Ateal." Ateal whimpered, shoving his face into her fur. He whimpered more, and all he wanted was his old sister back. But the way things were going, it hadn't seemed like he'd get his wish..

Sara
She huffed and rolled her eyes a bit watching Flask and Hawk...Suddenly, his 'promise ' to have whatever prey she wanted at her paws no longer seemed to matter...She snorted and looked down at Ateal, brushing her tail over his fur. "There, there..." She sighed.

The pup chuckled, batting at Lantis' ear before rolling on her belly.

She shook her head as she looked at her Alpha. "Of course I say so!" she barked, wagging her tail. "Let's go!"

He giggled and squealed a bit as he batted back. Bella nipped at his ears then she bounced away.

Sara
She huffed and fought down a roll of the eyes as Ateal pushed her away. Growling, she watched him and his sister yell back and forth. She snorted, all the mothering gone and the cold cruelty trying to force it's way back up...Smirking, she said "Oh, respected Felidae? I might know another way for Alue to prove herself..."

Jaylina hummed and smiled as she got up. "Let's go." she said as she trotted.
