(I know it's been forever! And they just came into a small shelter from the rain and to be honest I'm not sure what else other than that Lillian is or was sick… you might read the past page or two to catch up)

Lillian shook her head,"I'm fine."she murmered and went to sit down back on the bed. The small girl sneaked over to Lillian and cuddled up at her side, a thumb in her mouth. Lillian put and arm around her and gave her a hug,"I'm sorry Mimi, I don't have anything for you today. "She whispered into the girls hair.

Griffon watched the fire then heard the girl climb up next to Lillian and he looked up and hesitated before asking "Does she want food?" He said and looked at the little girl he felt pity for her but looked away he couldn't look at her without being reminded of why he was a guard in the first place and he hated it but he still had to be a guard and do as told so that those he loved would stay safe

Lillian looked up at Griffon and bit her lip. Did she dare tell him? Maybe she shouldn't. Why she should trust the guard that would hand her in to the authority's? Mimi popped her thumb out of her mouth and gently took the blanket in her grubby hands. "Thank you" came a tiny voice. Lillian smiled her thanks at Gaveina, but didn't answer Griffon.

Griffon frowned a little and glanced from the little girl to Lillian and asked softly "Is she your sister?" He said and then returned his gaze to the floor hoping that Lillian wouldn't notice that he was ovoiding looking up at them

Gavin's nodded and looked at Mimi "Your welcome…" she said smiling softly at the girl

After a moment of silence, Lillian nodded,"yes, but she lives in the village orphanage. "She quickly shut her mouth and tucked Mimi into bed, kissing her on the forehead.

Griffon frowned "I'm sorry… I uh…" he stopped himself from speaking and stood up glancing at them "I am sorry she has to stay there…" he said and hesitated "I need to take a walk…" he said and without thinking or waiting for an answer he walked oh into the storm towards the shed where the horses and dogs were

Gavina sighed "Sorry he is sensitive about little kids… but I don't know where he thinks he is going it's storming like crazy out there…" she said as looked at Lillian

Lillian stood and watched him leave,"Someone should go after him. He'll just get sick out there. " she narrowed her eyes. A voice whispered that if he got sick, it delay the journey. But as soon as she thought that, she shook it away, feeling ashamed.
