Gavina smiled a little bit at Lillian "Well for one if you haven't noticed he gets all protective when another guy gets around you… and well…" she motioned to the ring in Lillian's hand "He trusted you with his necklace… it may not seem like a lot but that necklace is everything it is our inheritance from our parents… and it's what can get us to safety…" she said smiling and watched Maya and Mimi who had moved a few feet away to pet a dog "And if you didn't connect the dots before he just handed you our mothers wedding ring so that you would be alloud to come on the same boat with us… the sailors may be a bit rough but they will not split up a married couple or a family… so at least until we get home the sailors see you as married and won't try to mess with you and they will know that Maya, Mimi, an I are all sisters under his care and won't mess with us either… it's all very odd but that's the way it works"

I was speechless. My mouth gaped open and I blinked a couple times. Clearing my throat I glanced back over to were Griffon was talking to the sailors. "So we're pretending we're married?" I managed to get out. My brain was still in overdrive going through all the information Gaveina just gave me. But I couldn't help feel warm inside at the thought that he cared that much about me. No one,besides my parents, ever had before.

Gavina laughed a little bit "Well uh… I doubt e will put it that way but to sum it up yes… you don't have to act like that but the Sailors will treat you in that way and won't be as flirty or… uh… space invading…" she said trying to think of a nice way to put it "He cares about you a lot…" she said and saw Griffon coming over

Griffin came back over "Ok everyone grab their things lets go I have a boat ride ready for us we will be there by morning"

I quickly slipped the ring on my finger and grabbed Mimis and my bags. Mimi slipped her hand in Gaveinas, since she couldn't hold mine. I couldn't help but feel curious about the rings. How were they so well known,even in these parts of the country? I shook that thought away and hurried after the others.

Gavina took Mimi and Maya's hands when Griffon picked up some of the things and the rest was slung over her shoulder or Maya and Mimi carried the small bags with medical supplies in them

Griffin had already slipped the ring on his hand and lead the girls to a large boat filled with fabric and goods but he lead them past the goods to a small area below the deck "We can leave our things here and we will sleep here but it is only one night ok? We will be off by tomorrow"

I placed the bags in a corner and looked around. There was only a few cots against the wall and a small wardrobe that looked old. It was considerably clean, which I noted with relief. And the blankets on the cots looked fresh. Mimis tummy rumbled and she giggled. "I'm hungry. Are we going to have dinner soon?" She asked Griffon.

Griffon nodded "Oh food wait just a moment I will go ask about it… until then there is some bread in the smaller bag over there" he said pointing to the bag "Or you can explore just don't break anything and don't get in the way of the Sailors" he said leaving to go ask about food

"Got it." I said to Griffon and grabbed the bag he had pointed at. Taking four rolls of bread out, I handed them out to everyone. Mimi gladly took hers and plunked herself down, chewing on the bread. "Let's hurry and eat so we can explore!" Mimi said to Maya eagerly. I shot a look at Gaveina. "Oh oh, we better keep a close eye on them." I chuckled. "Those two are double trouble. "

Maya giggled "I bet we could find a hiding spot in the bolts of fabric" she said eating her bread

Gavina laughed "Yea they are quite the handful"

Griffon came back not too much later with a plate of food and set it down it had bread, meat, and some fruit "Here eat it was this or fish and we can't cook the fish real well so I isn't want anyone sick"

I sat down next to Gaveina and smiled at Griffon. "Thanks, this looks delicious. " I said grabbing a peice of fruit and taking a bite. Mimi shoved some grapes in her mouth and stood up. "I'm all done! Can we go a play now?"
