Griffon lifted the girl up away from his feet and shook his head holding the girl "We are not taking her anywhere…" he said and set her back on the bed "Don't worry go to sleep ok?" He said gently and turned to Lillian "No we are not taking you to the palace… we agreed to work for 4 years an have been working for 6… we will go back and claim we could not find you and then take our sister from them… and if you will take her we will bring her back here and we will help out until we can build or buy our own cabin…"

I sucked in a deep breath and fought the tears riding in my throat,"Thank you." I said, my voice husky. "Of course she can come here, it's the least I can do."

Mimi smiled and pecked Griffon on the cheek, then drifted back to sleep.

Griffon gently patted the girl's head softly and moved back to his spot on the wall near the fire and nodded "Thank you…" he said quietly

Gavina sighed and walked over to Lillian and took the brush that was still tangled in her hair and managed to get it out and set it back down "Lillian just don't get spotted while we are gone to the castle ok?"

I grinned,"I can take care of myself. But I'll watch out just the same. " I felt like a massive weight had lifted from my shoulders. I was free! I cringed slightly as Gaveina pulled the brush out of my hair. "Thanks. My hair is impossible."

Griffon frowned slightly "Well then I suppose we should head out tonight… the rain has lessened, and there is no use waiting…" he said and glanced at Gavina_______Griffon nodded a little and waited until she was gone then began to pack up the bags but stopped and touched his hand to the chain around his neck and took it off and held it out to Lillian "Here take this… wear it into town and go to the shop with the green roof and Red curtains… show this to them… they will know it is mine…"
He hesitated a moment looking down at the charm and ring attached to the chain"Just tell them that I sent you ok? They will know what to send with you… and don't worry what you are getting from them will benifit you too"

Gavina nodded "Alright I will go get the horses ready you grab the bags and meet me out there in a minute ok?" She said leaving without an answer

I narrowed my eyes for a second and searched his face, wondering if he could be setting me up. I slowly nodded and reached out to take the chain, ignoring the shivers that went up my arm as our fingers brushed. I slipped the chain over my head and tucked it under my dress, the ring and charm still warm from Griffon.

Griffon then turned and finished packing and stopped at the door "Just… be careful when you do go into town…" he said and glanced at Mimi "And make sure she eats enough…" he said and then turned back to her as if he was about to say something but instead gave a small nod and turned for the door and left heading towards Gavina and the horses and quickly mounted Yona taking a glance back at the cabin before Gavina snapped him back to reality and they headed towards the palace

I stood at the door and watched them go, my emotions slightly puzzled. I wondered what had changed Griffons mind? I shrugged the thought away and closed the door, snuggling into bed with my sister. Soon sleep took over and I drifted off into dreamland.

Griffon and Gavina soon made it to the castle grounds they stopped jut out of sight and slid off their horses and crept forward and started making a plan on how to get their sister back
