Princess Isolde / Kar

Sol went with her sister back to the castle with as much calm as she could muster. She wanted to seem collected and prepared because she thought it would help Serena keep her cool as well as their father. In times like these it was always easier for Sol to focus on others instead of trying to deal with the riot going on in her head.
When they got to the castle, Isolde was shocked to find servants running around searching for them.
"My ladies," a maid said to Sol and Serena, "Princesses, please, come this way! We must get you changed and back in the main hall!"
"Why, what has happened?" Sol asked quickly.
"The Moran king, my lady, he's here!"
Sol nearly swooned. Here?! How could he be here? They'd only JUST received his letter! He must have left only days after the letter was sent. She looked at Serena as she started rushing to her rooms to change into something more presentable than riding gear.

Prince Sebastian / Mora

When Sebastian finally brought Taura back to the concert hall, the two of them had rosy cheeks and peasant-standard alcohol in their hands. He had his arm lazily draped over her narrow shoulders, and she wrapped hers around his waist.
"Brother!" Bash called, already mildly intoxicated. "Come, brother, drink with me! To the gods!" He laughed as Taura pushed one of the buttons of his shirt into his belly. He looked around at the few noble people- most of them ladies- who had shown up to this gathering of all classes. "Taura, fetch me a goblet of wine, will you? This concoction has gone straight to my head."
As she scurried to do as he asked, he turned to look at Airen. "Brother."

Arabella / Tusks

She smiled and found herself unable to hide it as Nic spoke. "I quite enjoy your appreciation for animals," she said. "It's something not many around here can fully share or appreciate." She looked down and sighed. "As for your question, though... What Brock would do?" She sighed and fiddled with her scarf, subconsciously running her hands up the tails to make sure it was still wrapped tightly around her neck. "He fights dogs, he thinks they're all stupid, brutal mutts. If he catches my boy in here, he'd quite likely take him and use him as bait," she said sadly. "Brock dislikes children, too," she added.

Cole / Tuskan docks

Listening to her speech, Cole kind of wanted to laugh- or kiss her. She was completely right, which he wouldn't even try to disagree with, but despite her pointing out his flaws he found her spice enticing. "Dear lady, I find myself unable to disagree with you," he said, shaking his head. "I've put you in quite a spot- and mistreated you grievously. I hope it is only your pride I have wounded by my actions. My only explanation- my only attempt to earn your forgiveness- is that had I not done as I had, I would be bloodied and quite likely on my way to a painful demise by now." He took her hand in his. "You've saved a life today." He kissed her cheek. "I'm indebted to you, truly." He started to back up farther into the narrow space, kicking a box out of his way. There was a passage behind him, if he moved a few crates out of the way, that lead under the building behind him and then to the other side of the pier. "Dearest, kindest, most radiant creature, might I humbly request the return of my belongings?" He was really laying it on thick, but he meant no disrespect nor harm by his sarcasm. Simply put, he couldn't resist his entertaining side, even though the general idea of what he was saying was true. He just wanted to make her smile. He always wanted to make people smile.

~Serena~
Walking along side her sister, Serena had regained her composure seeing her sister calm and collected helped her do so. They had barley even entered the castle before maids had rushed before them, frantically speaking over each other practically. When one of the maids finally made it clear what was going on, Serena instinctively held her palms up in protest. She was tense, looking Sol questionably. They had just heard the news that morning, she didn't even have a chance to come up with some strategic run away plan! "What!?" She yelled at but didn't get any response as the maids basically pushed Sol and Serena towards their rooms. Well...the maids assigned to Serena didn't have an easy task. Between her fighting and arguing with them, her knotted hair with forest debris, and tore pants, she looked as if she could pass for a common house maiden. "I'm not wearing that." She shook her head, folding her hands across her chest defiantly. "Why would I change just to impress some highborn, blood thirsty king?" She said looking the elegant gown that was overly royal. Of course just speaking in such a manner was bot wise, but she didn't care. Serena was known to speak her mind after all. She finally settled compromised with the maids with a simple light blue, well fitted dress, that did indeed compliment her hair and eyes. She looked herself over in the mirror already feeling out of place. She looked down at her feet, the blue gown covered her shoes just right...she couldn't let them force her feet into some uncomfortable pinching shoes...she wanted to at least feel some what like herself in her riding boots. No one would tell anyway, the gown covered them just right. With one last deep breath, Serena left her rooms, and waited at the tall throne room doors for her sister before being announced, having all sorts of crazy ideas rumbling in her head.

~Airen~
Airen had just finished dancing with one of the other noble girls when he heard his name called. Airen turned around rather slowly to see his brother. He had drank, but not enough to mess with his head or motor skills. Airen chuckled seeing Bash and Tara, only mildly curious at what the two had been up to already. Airen still had a full cup in his hand, as he walked over to his brother, nodding a quick greeting to Tara as Sebastian sent her off. "This may be our last drink brother. When father returns I'm sure he'll throw a fit about the obvious stock downsize of...beverages." Airen worded carefully looking at just how many people there were...and how many fee glasses. He turned to his brother with a more serious demeanor. "Our last drink before father once again changes our path for us." He mumbled. He wasn't fond of this whole betrothal arrangement, but duties were duties. And Airen is loyal to his country. The countries needs before his own desires.

~Nic~
"Ah. Animals are one of the few food things this earth has left." He smiled genuinely. Nic leaned in, now fully interested about this Brock guy. He noticed Arabella run her hand along her scarf, thinking it must be a nervous habit. "Can't have that can we?" He said as she told what Brocks intentions were. "I like dogs." He added. "Little iffy on the children, pesky little things." He smirked jokingly...hmm somewhat. "I suppose something should be done about his little...hobby. Wouldn't ya say?" Nic asked tilting his head and raising a brow curiously. He was indeed a handy guy.

"Lovely gown," Sol said to her sister when they next met on their way to the throne room. She was wearing a beautiful dress that was navy blue with iridescent beadwork over the whole thing. It was heavy because of the beads and a long train. "Shall we?"
She walked into the throne room with her head high, a gracious smile on her face.

The king and queen looked over at her and King Forgot-His-Name held out an arm. "King Evil-King's-Name, may I present my eldest daughter Isolde," he said and Isolde curtseyed and walked to her place, "And my youngest, Serena."

"It's an honor, my lord," Isolde said appropriately, her voice deceptively demure though her eyes were bright.

Sebastian smiled at Airen. "Come, brother, let's party!" He laughed and smiled. His brother seemed to most often prefer the company of noble ladies, but Bash thought they were too stiff, full of themselves. He liked girls like Taura, who knew how to work, and how to drink. He planned to be gone by the end of the party.

Serena and Magnus

Serena gave a look that said: 'Don't even.' She hated wearing anything formal, she was always a tomgirl at heart. "It won't last long." She mumbled "You of course look stunning as usual, I'm sure the lovley king will love it." She said. She mustered up her courage and followed behind her sister, like they were trained to do a hundred times.

King Magnus approached the two young gilrs looking them over. He could tell the older one was much more mature then the younger one, who held her arms crossed in clear annoyance. He took Sols hand and formally kissed one of her rings. "My sons, will be lucky to have such beautiful brides." He said walking over to Serena to do the same. Serena made a point to remember to wash her hands and throw out the ring later. She did not like this animal even touching her. Magnus turned to King and Queen. "I approve of the arrangment ahead of marrying your two daughters with my two sons, if you accept I will be sure to send word to my sons and we can arrange a meeting between them in either kingdom so it won't be too much of a surprise. My sons input means everything to me." He said which was a flat out lie. He needed to buy some time to get his other plans in order. He looked up to the King and Queen awaiting their answer.

Airen
Airen chuckled at his brothers exitment. "Till the dawn approaches!" He said downing another drink. It would be ok if he let go this one night...surley nothing would happen. (Want some sort of rebel fight to happen? They heard rumors of the king gone so they stage an attack? Just to spice things up?)

Sol felt a bit like she was an animal, being appraised at market. She curtsied graciously at his praise. She was well aware that she and her sister were on display at the moment and, dutiful as ever, she did not want to let her parents down. She hated what was happening, being traded like property, it made her feel utterly powerless. However, holding onto her good graces and manners felt like a tiny bit of power in itself. She hoped it would be enough to keep her sane. Part of her wanted to elbow her sister for her obvious lack of amusement at the subject.
"A meeting would be most agreeable, my lord," she said, her clear voice soft and formal.

King Ike nodded at his daughters words. "Indeed," he said. "I feel a meeting at one of the castles would be best suited, to protect the frailty of my children, you understand." From the corner of his eye he saw Adair's jaw clench and knew she was irked, as Serena would probably be, by that comment. However, he thought it best to make his daughters seem defenseless. That way, should they fall under threat at their new homes, they'd be underestimated.

Bash laughed heartily in agreement. "Taura, my princess," he said as she rejoined them. He grabbed her waste and pulled her hard against him while she smiled and laughed.
"Ay, you'll spill your drink my foolish prince," she scolded as she handed him a deep goblet of wine. Her face was flushed from the drinks and Bash's words as he turned her back to himself so she was facing his brother. "Airen, my lord," she said, "who of your fine ladies will you thrill tonight?"
Bash laughed again and looked at his brother over Taura's hair, his arms resting on her shoulders.

Arabella laughed at his comment about children and shook her head. "What is there to be done?" she asked, her interest spiked. She was very curious.
