Bash scoffed. "You don't really want to know what I think, brother," he said. He pushed his hands through his hair. He leaned back on the battered old shingles. "What about you? You just... okay to go along with this?"

Sol smiled graciously at Jared and mounted up. "Thank you," she said, "I watched her leave." She kicked Skoal into a lope and quickly caught up with them.

~Airen~
Airen chuckled at his brothers response. "I don't know. For one we don't hardly even have any options here to begin with. Still you'd think this would be a good thing. I know father has to have something up his sleeve. He wouldn't just 'agree' to this. I mean yea he basically gets to rule Kar through us...but I don't know. Maybe I'm just paranoid. Might as well try though, right? better then being miserable from the start I suppose. " Airen said with a shrug. "I'm sure it wasn't their choice either. " Airen was ok with giving it a shot. He didn't like this news, but he was going to atleast 'formally' try.

~Serena~
Serena continued shooting off arrows until she saw Sol come up, sighing she put her bow up and looked at her. "I'm not running away." She said sarcastically. "Just air, may be planning our funerals sooner than later." Whe grumbled

Bash humphed. He looked out over the grounds. "I don't know," he muttered. He breathed deeply, wishing he could just dissipate with his breaths and be carried off by the stiff breeze that brushed their faces. "This seems like a recipe for... Discomfort." He looked at his brother. Part of him hoped the girls would be like Airen, willing and docile at the idea. Part of him wanted them- or at least his- to reject the idea as much as he did so it wouldn't matter to her that he didn't think he could ever have feelings for her. Anyway... He did have feelings for Taura. He wasn't sure what brand of feelings... But they were there. "You've always been such a better son than I," he said with a chuckle, lightly shoving his brothers shoulder. "Magnus ought to be kinder to you. He's got no idea how lucky he is you were born first and they could justify not training the rebel." He laughed.

Isolde said nothing at first, but a soft smile crossed her face at her sister's words. "Such optimism is beautiful and uncommon," she said, her voice sounding so genuine that it was clearly sarcastic. She removed her own bow from her saddle and drew back an arrow. She let it fly and smiled as it struck her target. "It's going to be alright, Ren," she said. "I mean... It might not be fun, but it'll work out. We'll get it figured out- we're a team, remember? It'll be fun for me just go watch somebody try to bully you. Heaven help the man who thinks he can control Serena of Mora." She waited for Serena to take her shot, thinking this was a good idea because she was a ball of nerves. Her stomach hurt and her shoulders were unbelievably tight, but she wasn't going to show that. If she'd learned nothing else in her life, it was how to hold a good poker face.

Nic let out a quick laugh. "You could say that." He said rubbing the back of his neck. "You know the usual guarding, rescuing poor saps in the middle of the night, with a gallant steed." He said amused, but of course that was lie...well it was just a more 'right way' cooler version of what really happend. "I just need something cool to drink...with a 'kick' to it of course and whatever food ya got. I'm not picky. But if you guys have ran into a horse running with no rider....I would take a bit of that horse meat." He said sarcastically with a small smirk.

~Alyssa/Tusk/Docks~
Alyssa saw a crowd forming around a blonde headed man, his voice booming all around. She had seen quite a few performers around the dock areas, some were con artists, others just wanted attention or get a quick buck. Alyssa shrugged her shoulders, might as well check it out. She though, lightley pushing her way through the crowd closer to the front.she watched as the obviously flirting man drew his deck and watched the girl who's name was apparently Vanessa blush over him. She couldn't help but to raise a brow, out of amusement. At least this guy seemed to be the real deal he preformed the trick well and quick. Well atleast it was a nice start of the day being entertained. However she couldn't help but wonder if this man was one of those that swiped money from the audience, when they were so distracted in the performance. (Lol yea I do the same things sometimes depending on what character haha)

Arabella smiled and laughed quietly. "Of course," she said. "But if somebody asks you about it, tell them it's beef." She walked back behind the bar counter and returned with a tall mug for him. "I'll be back in just a moment and you'll have to tell me how exactly you lost that horse." She walked back into the kitchen area and scooped up a heavy ladle full of thick stew, then tore a hunk off of a loaf of bread that sat on the counter, and a smaller hunk of cheese from the wrapped package next to the bread. She brought the meal to him.

Cole smirked a little as Vanessa's man grudgingly handed him coins at Vanessa's insistence. He bowed ever so graciously and took Vanessa's hand once more to give her a quick kiss on the back of her glove. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, who wants to see a-" his words trailed off and he gulped as he saw a certain somebody weaving through the crowd. Stone was a very large man with a glazed and torn up right eye. He was as dirty as he was burly, and had an even bigger temper. He was also not a terribly bright specimen, and as such it had been easy for Cole to talk him out of a very large quantity of money which Stone now considered stolen... He didn't think he'd been spotted yet but- uh-oh, there's the one-eyed contact, time to go! Stone started making a line in Cole's direction as Cole forced a stage laugh and began accepting the money people had out for him. "Well folks you've been a blessing to me- truly! Can't tell you how much I'd like to stay but-" he pantomimed tipping a hat and then threw his stuff together in a bundle in his arms and dashed off while people were still trying to hand him money. He shoved between the people quickly as a shout rose up behind him. He turned his head to see how far away Stone was and ploughed straight into Alyssa, knocking both of them over. "Damn it all!" He cursed as his coins scattered over the dock. He scraped a fair amount into the hood of the cloak he carried as quick as he could but knew he had to get going- and quick!

(I didn't mean to rush you XD just bumped it back to my first page in 'my posts')

~Airen~
Airen chuckled, shaking his head. "Oh please, I admire your position. To be free. Magnus just likes power over everything else. But alas we can't choose our family or role we were born into. I just hope one day we both can clean up the mess, fear, and despair father has caused." He said pausing. Airen would follow through his duty. That was one of the most important aspects to him. Duty before anything else, besides family of course. Though his 'line' to the throne is constantly rocking back and forth since his blood is not 'pure' he would rather save his brother from that position. He knew Bash enjoyed his quiet life much more, he would hate to see him trapped under the pressure of court and everything that comes with being an heir. He did however feel bad still about the position Sebastian was now in with Taura. It's hard to miss that Taura and his brother were close friends atleast if not more. "What about Taura?" He couldn't help but ask. "Atleast we don't have to move from the castle." He added.

~Serena~
Serena smirked at Sols way of being so easily sarcastic and smooth. She watched her notch an arrow and let it go, hitting her target. Serena had to admit she missed having practice with her sister. She knew Isolde had so much more responsibility to take on, making her busy. Serena chuckled at Sols statement. That rose her confidence up. In Kar Serena could easily defend herself, but in another kingdom with such a harsh king, she wasn't sure if she could handle it. "I know we're team. I just don't think I can handle it mentally. Being trapped, not able to voice opinions or disapprovals without fear of Moras, kings wrath." She said looking back at her sister. It puzzled her so much, how she seemed to handle anything thrown at her. "I will never understand your ability to stay so calm, and take everything in stride. It's a good thing you're the oldest." She chuckled. "I'm just a back up plan, in case something ever happened to you and the future king. I can not and will not be next in line. I would feel way too trapped. Caged in." She mumbled chewing the bottom of her lip in thought. "The only good thing about this, is that we'll still be together." She said notching another arrow, hitting a target a little farther away.

~Nic~
Nic chuckled, waiting for his order to arrive, which took no time at all. He quickly took a gulp of his drink, sighing in content. When she returned with the plate, he gestured his hand to the seat on the other side of the table "thank you. Much appreciated. He placed his elbows on the table, holding his mug with both hands before he began to speak. "The horse I had....I was 'borrowing' him. I assumed the thing was trained, since he was in a riding stall. I got a few hours in the ride, fighting the horse the whole time, until there was a huge tree knocked over in the middle of the road from a previous storm." He began, taking a spoonful of the warm stew. "He jumped it just fine, until he stepped on one of the branches, reared up, tripping back over the log and off he goes back the way we came disappearing rather quickly. Took me 10 minutes to find my shoe, and of course delayed my trip by 3 hours on foot." He finished, taking another bite. "Obviously the horse wasn't worthy enough to accompany such a person as myself." He said jokingly.

~Alyssa~
Alyssa shook her head at the swooning girl. And drew her attention to the stage man as he began to put another show it sounded like, before his voice trailed off and his attention drifted somewhere in the crowd. She looked back at the crowd as annoyed grumbles circled around. A huge man with an obvious old injury to his right eye, stuck out like a sore thumb. It was pretty simple to figure out this bear like man was not fond of the blonde haired performer. She watched him make his way roughly through the crowd, her attention drawn to him. Of course until she felt a strong force ram into her making her and whoever it was fall to the ground. With a huff, she looked over the one that caused it, realizing it was the performer. "Hey! Watch where you're going" she griped out grabbing her sailors hat off the ground before it got stepped on. She wasn't going to let him get away scott free, she quickly grabbed his boot. The other audience may have been ok with him knocking over somone but she wasn't. "What do you think you're doing! Running into people knocking them over like that!" Her eyes flashed with annoyance.

Sebastian sighed after his brother asked him about Taura. He shook his head and leaned back against the shingles. "What do you mean?" he said, unconvincingly innocent. "I mean..." he laughed a bit but was decidedly unamused. "I don't know about Taura." He looked at his brother, glad to have him but wishing he could have been born to any other family. Literally ANY OTHER FAMILY. "She means as much to me as you do, just... I'm not sure in what way." He pushed his fists into his forehead. "I think she loves me, though..."

Gotta go to sleep now haha consider that good enough for the time being I'm afraid :/

~Airen~
Airen raised his brows. "Yea I can see how that may be a problem. I'm assuming you'll be talking to her about the new arrangements" he said with a pause, momentarily placing him in his brothers shoes. Airen would always choose duty. But it pained him to know his brother would be in such a position. "Father wouldn't disagree with you taking on a mistress. I know that's pretty far out there, but thats something only for you to know what to do." He added on. Airen had always seen things as black and white no in between, he didn't expect his brother to follow in line with that habit as Bash seemed to always be a rebel at heart. Airen watched as a standard brown horse darted out of the castle gates along with 100 men following. "Ah and there he is. The man that tend to control everyones fate." Airen mumbled out watching as their father left the castle walls, no doubt to personally discuss matters with Kar. "Are you sure you couldn't use a drink?" Airen said with a smirk. He planned on enjoying the temporary freedom. Not too much of course, as duty always had it's pin on him.

Bash sighed, watching their father leave with a powerful sense of contempt locking it's teeth into his heart. He felt cold when he saw the king. He hated him. "Yes, I'll have to talk to her." He couldn't help but chuckle a bit after his brother's invitation. "Airen, have you ever known me not to make good use of a drink?" He stood and climbed back into the tower. "Hell, I'll make good use of a hundred of them tonight if nobody condescends to cut off the castle drunkard." He was joking, of course, but he did like to drink a few sometimes.

Isolde shook her head. "The old man will die soon enough, and by then we'll have had our way with the princes. They'll know better than to try to keep us silent," she said optimistically. She appreciated her sisters praise and laughed at her sarcasm about being a backup plan. "It's not too hard for me to be this way," she said, thinking as she drew another arrow and released. "I just... I don't really know for sure... It's not always easy, but I just try to focus on getting rid of hindrances like anger, or selfishness." She shrugged. "Your talents are in other areas, though, aren't they?" She smiled at Serena.

(Sorry I've been sick for like the first time in forever ...pretty much over it now though.))

~Airen~
Airen chuckled, following Bashs lead back in the tower. "Well then let's make haste!" He cheered "we'll have a small party in the great hall, it'll be a nice break for everyone. And Taura will there." He smirked of course that was just is assumptions or guess, hinting to his brother he better make an appearance atleast. Airen called for a servent, sending word to the cooks to begin hauling barrels and food to the great hall. "I'll meet you for the party tonight, give you time to talk to 'your' lady friend." He smirked, he couldn't help it.

~Serena~
Serena scoffed. "Yea sooner he's dead the better. I guess I may have to learn to hold my tongue for awhile." She chuckled then went back into her thoughts when Isolde said her talents were in other areas.she couldn't help to laugh a little, with a smirk. "Yea being talented at not acting like a princess should. Stringing up thieves, rebelling against any ideas of captivity. Oh yea thats talent." She shook her head. Notching two arrows instead of one but failing miserably. "Dang everytime" she mumbled. "Do you know when mother and father plan on sending us off?" She asked

Arabella / Tusks / Tavern

Ara laughed at his closing statement about the horse being unworthy. "Oh, of course," she said with another little laugh. "How on earth did you manage to lose your shoe?" she sat down across from him, thinking it should be okay because it wasn't like there was much else to do at the moment. Nobody had stayed in the Inn last night so her chores were pretty limited. She knew that would put the owner in a bad mood, and hoped Jax would give her enough warning before he arrived. Usually the dog would give a woof and then trot off before the owner arrived. She looked at the door anyway, a little nervous, and fiddled with her scarf.

Cole / Coast West of the Tusks / Docks

He didn't have time to deal with her, he kicked her arm off his boot and was on his feet in a flash, irritation on his face for a moment. "Trying to live another day," he snapped, meeting her eyes with his sharp green ones. "My apologies." He was going to run off again but it was too late, Stone was already basically on top of them. Cole cussed under his breath, realizing that he couldn't cut through the crowd fast enough to get ahead at this point. "Hold this," he said and shoved his bundled up things into Serena's arms. He turned with a fake smile and saluted Stone.
"Ahoy there, buddy," he said. "It's- it's-it's-a- been, uh, quite a while." He ducked and bumped back into Serena as a meaty fist swung at him, narrowly avoiding it and shoving her away roughly. She was a sailor, she could take it, right? That's the assumption he was working under, and she needed to not be near Stone and Cole right now anyway. "Hey, big guy, come on let's t-ALK ABOUT THIS!" He dodged another strike but couldn't escape the thick fist that locked around his shirt.
"Thief!" Stone shouted, pulling Cole toward him, the performers feet dangling as he was suspended by a mixed handful of shirt and throat.
Cole's face reddened and his voice was raspy and awful sounding as he spoke: "Come on, Stone, we talked about this! I didn't steal from you!" He kicked Stone and quickly took a few steps back when the hulk dropped him and shouted in pain.
Stone lunged after him but Cole grabbed Serena's arm and started running, coughing but counting on the kick he'd dealt to slow down the brute.
"Marked-up, inky FREAK!" Stone screamed after them. "Cheat! Liar!"
