Eviina nodded as best she could. She looked around spotting the cub and Ashaii. "Shiiani?"

Nianna bit her lip and.looked down at the cub.

Viltier frowned as the snowleopard was brought up.

Cass smiled and nodded. She pulled her hands away with a tired sigh as she finished the healing."aye..."

Taivil smirked. "oh don't ever assume things, though she does seem to have a hold on you."

Rin stroked down the cubs back, not willing to speak the news of the female snow leopards fate.

Fal'rien was the one to answer her friend, her words full of remorse, "I'm sorry Ediina, she's with the ancestors now".

"How're you feeling Cassie? Do you need another rest or can you go a few more rounds? You know what Rylie might do if I don't keep my promise" Rettika asked, getting to her feet.

Duällen rolled his eyes and continued down the hall before a yowl caught his attention, "Where the h*** did that come from"? He gestured to Healia who came trotting up to them, eyeing the meat hungrily.

Eviina closed her eyes, a tear rolling down her cheek and not having the energy to truely morn her friends loss. She muttered a prayer before opening her eyes again. The sorrow there unmistakable. "Her body? She at least deserves a proper burial. She fought bravely to protect... Her cubs, did they both survive?!" Her voice turned a bit frantic. She knew one was laying against her. "And AShaii!?"

"Relax my love. Both cubs are alive, but hungry, and Ashaii is making an excellent protector despite his wounds." Viltier spoke softly and soothingly. He took Eviinas hand as he held Kaisiin with the other arm.

Cass smiled softly at Rettika. "Ryelin wont attack you. He wouldnt be able to because I would run interferance and he wouldnt dare do anything that would hurt me or our child. Here, children are pretty much sacred and no good Ceverian would knowingly attack a woman expecting."

Taivil burst into laughter. "Dont soil yourself Duallen, Adiira may not approve of that... Her name is Healia, shes Rettika's leopard. Rettika being the woman that was with Cass."

Rin nodded once, "We sent Duällen to go fetch food for them all, he should be back any minute". She glanced up to her mother and Ii'ander as neither spoke.

Fal'rien looked deep in thought, the past night of hard work weighing heavily on her features, "Eviina... I hate to ask this so soon or rather at all, but... what happened"? She seemed restless and aggitated all of a sudden as Ii'ander squeezed her a little tighter in his arms.

"It's not that, I'm pretty sure I could handle myself against him though I wouldn't want to fight with him on purpose. I just want to earn my place here and you becoming exhausted or worse on my watch isn't exactly how I planned it going" Rettika admitted sheepishly.

Duällen rolled his eyes and gave his cousin a lude gesture before perking up at the reference to the woman he saw, "You said Rettika? Does she know of the families passion for antics"? He grinned as Healia rubbed up against his leg, "This is for the tiger kitty, not the tiny leopard".

Eviina nodded her thanks, relaxing as she learned the others were safe mor or less. She looked to Falrien and sighed. "Honestly it all happened so quickly Im not entirely sure what happened myself. I was with Shiiani and the cubs when I heard commotion. I went to the temple edge in time to see the monsters coming into the temple, the guards and several others dead below as well as some trying to fend off other beasts. I made sure Shiiani was ok before going out into the hall. It was sheer chaos. Running and screaming and nasty growls and snarls from the beasts. the priestesses fought as best they could, but... The last thing I remeber is lying on the floor bleeding as the beast that attacked me fought with Shiiani and Ashaii."

"They killed it, or at least thats what my report says." Aiiin had slipped into the room and was standing by Shiianis form. He looked at Eviina. "It's good to see you alive and better my friend."

Nianna had jumped slightly as Aiiin spoke. She looked to the king with an unreadable expression.

The cub rolled slightly and pawed at Rins hand

Cass nodded in understanding. "Then if anything happens its my fault becuase I refused to stop." She smiled and started to move onto the next patient. "It wouldnt be right for me to not help these people just because I'm a little tired."

Taivil nodded and grinned. "She does, not that she fully understands it, but she gets the jist."

Fal'rien let loose a low growl and flicked her gaze to her cousin as he made his presence known, "Aii'in, what are we going to do? They're getting braver, more aggressive, and if they find their way into a village...". She turned into Ii'ander as he held her close, whispering reassurance as she became more aggitated.

Rin shifted her hand and flitted it around the cub to distract herself and the small ball of fur, afraid of what would happen if she listened to the conversation. She didnt even look to Aii'in as he spoke.

Rettika huffed, "Understandable but still, you're pregnant, you should avoid fatigue as much as possible". She stood to follow her friend over to another injured person and looked up as a yowl echoed in the hall, "I guess Healia is enjoying herself here".

"She will in time, don't worry" Duällen shook his foot at Healia as she continued to get I'm his way, "Would you move?! You can't have this"! He sighed as he finally turned into the infirmary, "Breakfast is served cats". He lowered the side of deer onto the cot beside Ashaii with a huff.

Healia followed beside Duallen and Tai'vil continuing to mew and yowl impatiently until a smell caught her attention and her ears twitched at the sight of Ashaii.

Aiiin's eyes flicked to Falrien, obviously not going to let her calm he spoke again. "They already have, remember? Multiple villages, and it started with the one the led to Treysin's death. Theres only one thing left for us to do and these creatures have forced my hand. I wouldve been here sooner had I not been issuing an order for all able men and women to take up arms. It is time for the kingdoms to see why you do not awaken the sleeping dragon that is our people. These monsters will not survive for everything they have done, and this was the final straw. We. Are. Going. To. War." He let his words hang in the air as he looked to Duallen and Taivil as they entered.

The cub batted at Rins hand and nipped at it with soft play growls.

Taivil nodded with a chuckle to duallen. He entered the room and looked to his uncle as he finished talking. He didnt say a word as he moved to give the cubs food.

Ashaii lifted his head at Duallen with a large yawn/yowl. He stood up stiffly and sniffed at the carcass before his twitching nose turned to HEalia. He let out a soft growl as he sat and watched her. The darker and larger cub blinked sleepily as its warm cacoon moved. She sat up with a squeaked yawn.

"These people are more important at the moment Retti. I'm in far less danger than they are." Cass's eyes flicked to the yowl and nodded as she began cleaning the childs wounds.

Fal'rien fell silent, unable to respond or even look at her cousin. She instead lifted her gaze to her son and daughter, watching them intently incase they needed her. Her motherly urge to protect was growing by the minute with every bad memory that flashed behind her tired eyes.

Ii'ander pulled his wife tighter against him, if it was even possible, and he nodded once in agreement.

Duällen stiffened as he caught the last bit to what Aii'in had been saying. He stroked Ashaii as he growled quietly, "It's alright big guy, I'm pretty sure she's a really annoying friend".

Healia returned the larger cats growl with a short chuffed and her attention immediately went to the squeek of the larger cub. Her tail was wagging behind her and she cocked her head curiously before padding up to the cub and sniffing the cot edge cautiously.

Rin finally turned to look at Aii'in, a bitter cold in her eyes that matched her gem, but she still refused to talk. Although surrounded by a mass of patients that needed aid, she couldn't help but feel that the one who needed her the most was somewhere in the castle with his father. She bit her lip and turned her attention back to the cub.

Aiiin looked at each of them for a brief moment before turning and moving to leave the room. The way he moved had changed from the free almost gentle seeming movements to deadly graceful ones of a reaper ready to kill.

Nianna looked to her husband fear lighting her eyes.

Eviina sighed and watched the others.

Ashaii huffed and watched Healia closely. He growled and hissed again, his fur standing up as she got closer to the cub. He stooped so he was crouching over the cub who hissed adorably and huddled against Ashaii as he swatted at Healia.

"This is aweful" Rin finally spoke as Aii'in left, running her fingers through her hair with a heavy sigh. She looked to Nianna with a freightened gaze then up to her mother before looking behind her at the commotion.

"Hey! Healia don't upset the cat five times your size, get over here"! Duällen scolded but it had no effect on the feline as she looked up to Ashaii.

Healia watched the male and yawned, flashing her dagger like fangs. She got up to go investigate the others and swatted her long tail in his face in the process. She came to rub on Nianna's leg when the second kitten then caught her attention.

Fal'rien pulled pulled of Ii'ander's hold and quickly left to resume her healing work again, leaving her husband to watch after her longingly. He turned and started working on the next batch of antivenom.

Rettika nodded and looked up to the stiff moving Fal'rien as she passed by, "Well it at least sounded good, but the way she's acting I'm not so sure anymore".
