Mage smiled at Rin. "Thank you..."

"Speaking of nightmares, where'd Bear go?" Pallon followed Rettika's words, opting to change the subject as well.

Amelia chuckled almost nervously. "I saw him leave..."

Bear took Dagan with a slightly confused expression and then as Kalten made his intentions clear he scowled. "Kalten, no..."

Sigurn smiled slightly and looked at Kalten. "Very well... Relax, son. I have no intention of hurting the boy..."

Rin raised a thumb into the air with a smirk to Mage. She nudged Pallon lightly and looked about for the assassin, "Seems he took his sons along with him".

Nivallia huffed and did her share of a quick sweep of the room for the others. She hiked a thumb over her shoulder, "Seems the big guy joined them too".

Rettika shrugged, "I wonder what they went off to do. If it's gun I'm going to be a bit mad for being left out"!

Kalten smiled confidently at his father and his movements became smooth as he sidestepped around Sigurn, looking for an opening of some sort.

Pallon smirked and snuggled up to her again with a chuckle/purr.

Cass shook her head. "From what I saw it looked serious... So probably not fun."

Lucia was wacthing the others in silence. Lazuli having climbed onto her shoulder.

Bear stepped back cradling Dagan as the child twisted and watched his brother. His eyes showed concern and a deadly promise to Sigurn should he hurt Kalten.

Sigurn grinned and only turn his head to watch Kalten. To his back was a mirror image of him in complete shadow that watched Kalten, giving no chance for someone to attack his back.

Rin smiled, "So who's got some funny stories? How about the Dumerrin trip? Does Amelia even know about that"? She smiled at the woman with a cunning gaze.

Rettika pouted slightly. She flipped to lay on her stomach and smiled brightly, clapping her hands in anticipation, "Oh yes someone please! Story time, what's it about"?

Nivallia and Crucivander both exchanged another look of amusement as they remembered the story that had been told. "It's beyond hilarious and that's coming from me" the sister replied with an affirmative nod from her brother.

Kalten looked at the shadow with a broad smile and a quick look to his father before charging Sigurn in a full frontal assault at lightning speed. He jumped up at the last possible second, and perched himself on his shoulder precariously, "Hello there".

Amelia sat up more and shook her head. "Not much anyways." She glanced back to Tovheir who frowned slightly and cursed. "Oh, now I really need to know." She grinned evilly.

Taivil snickered slightly. "It would have been more amusing if not for a few things..."

Sigurn made no move to dodge or deflect Kalten. He looked at his Grandson with a grin. "Hello yourself... Do this much?"

Bear let out a sigh and Dagan giggled and clapped his hands.

"What could be more amusing than Tohveir almost s***ing his pants and chasing Kal with his sword"? Rin asked before mulling it over, "Well there was the reason he almost fainted but he shouldn't have gone after Pallon". She giggled and propped herself up slightly against Pallon's stomach.

Rettika gawked slightly, "You got Tohveir scared enough to almost soil his britches?! How? Tell me! Maybe I can use it on some of the overly cocky men here"! She settled in and waited for an explanation.

Kalten smiled back and nodded, "Mostly to Papa, it's fun being this tall, and it depends. Do you always use your shadow during fights"? He waved his hand behind him, feeling the familiar chilled air envelope his hand. He chuckled and hugged Sigurn around the neck with a light squeeze, "Did Fallen teach you that too"?

Pallon chuckled at the memory. "I wasnt about to let him hurt himself or Kalten... We all know how badly that wouldve ended..."

Tovheir groaned and hid his face in the crook of Amelias neck making her giggle.

"Oh it's simple. She had him pinned by the throat and a death glare that i was sure was going to kill him." Wolf answered with a smirk. "Lets just say he was p***** about the flamingos."

That caught Bears attention and he narrowed his eyes at Sigurn.

Sigurn chuckled and gently hugged Kalten back. "I always have shadows around. How did you think I knew about Mahia confronting you all?" He shook his head. "I taught Fallen actually. This ability has been passed down our family for generations. My mother was the one that taught me."

Rin laughed and cleared her throat, "Ok so, we were all in Dumerrin and this was before we met Nivallia and Crucivander. Tai'vil was feeling a bit down because pregnant Nianna wasn't with him so I came up with a plan to lift his spirits"! She leaned over the fire for a more dramatic effect, being mindful of Liam, "The one thing you have to know about Tohveir is he's petrified of birds, absolute woos, so we decided to herd a flock of flamigoes and cucabura into his room to surprise him". She grinned deviously as she leaned back again.

Rettika giggled at just the thought of all the birds in the room then looked to Rin with a wide smile, "You attacked the king of Alenthia"? She then turned to Tohveir, "Is that why you didn't like that hummingbird on the way here"?!

Kalten let his arms slip and he landed effortlessly on the floor with barely a sound. He glanced up to Sigurn and back to Bear, happily confused, "Wait what? I thought shadows were an assassin thing only? Were you an assassin? How'd they learn to do it"?! He paced circles around Sigurn with his arms folded behind his back, spewing questions.

Pallon pouted silently as Rin moved forward.

Amelia tried to stifle her giggling. "Oh what I wouldnt give to have seen that!" She gently patted her husbands head as he groaned and muttered curses.

"Birds and I have a long, bad history... They hate me." Tovheir muttered. He rested his chin on Amelias shoulder and shot a half glare to Rin. "It didnt help that you left one of the d*** things in my room!"

Sigurn shook his head. "Not just an assassin thing. They learned from using dark magic where as with us it was an innate skill or talent, or even trademark of our family."

Bear seemed to relax some, realizing that Sigurn was being sincere and had no intention of hurting either of his sons.

Rin laughed outright and met Tohveirs glare with a smug grin, "How was I supposed to know it's take a s*** on you"?! She waved him off with a giggle, "Anyway, Kalten stole his sword and lured him back to his room where we were all waiting. So he gets in there, we open the shutters, he screams like a little girl, and falls on his a**! Tai'vil and I go running because the man's trying to rip our heads off he's so p***ed and all of a sudden, this one tackles him to the floor"! She patted Pallon's chest gently with a grin.

Rettika was just trying to breathe at this point. She wiped at her eyes and gasped between each fit of laughter, "Y-You poor man! Oh gawd, I-I cant... can't breathe"!!!

Nivallia was grinning from ear to ear while Crucivander was rolling on the floor beside Rettika, joining in on her laughter.

Kalten took a moment before speaking again, "Is that why I could see them in Dumerrin"? He looked to Bear with a building curiosity as he came to stand infront of him with a proud little grin.
