Nianna nodded with a smile and chuckle. "Alright."

Pallon laughed lightly as Laim got Rin sticky too. "Mmm, now we all need baths." There was a meschivious glint in his eyes.

Lucia smiled and slowed her pace for a moment. She suddenly spun and kissed Kalten on the cheek before racing away into the jungle and past several Lorrens, who seemed amused at the sight.

Rin flicked her husband's arm and sighed lightly with a bashful grin as she quickly exited the hall and made her way to their room, "Your mind wonders so easily Mr. Hivar". She stopped and gave him a deep and passionate kiss before continuing on her way like nothing was amiss.

Kalten froze immediately and slowly raised his hand to cup his cheek before turning a deep red, "H-Hey Lucia, wait up"! He sped after her, ignoring the Lorrens with a half embarrassed smirk. As the entered the jungle, a voice could be heard singing in the distance along with the faint sound of buzzing.

Pallon followed Rin closly and chuckled. He was surprised at first, but quickly melted in and returned Rins kiss. He smirked breathlessly. "You have that effect on me sweetheart."

Lucia had vanished into the shrubbery. She waited for Kalten to go by before pouncing on him with a 'roar'. She giggled and then stopped as she heard the singing.

"I can't imagine why darling" Rin purred to him as she opened the door to their room with a coy grin. She made her way to a wash basin beside the bed and momentarily set Liam in his hammock crib, "Well I can get him clean if you want to bathe first". She took the pitcher and disappeared into the washroom.

Kalten laughed and caught them both with a hand on a nearby tree to keep them on their feet. He looked around for the source of the beautiful voice, "Do you hear that"? He glanced to Lucia quickly before taking a step towards where he thought the melody was coming from.

Pallon purred back to Rin. He nodded as Rin vanished, and watched Liam while Rin filled the pitcher for the baby's bath.

Lucia silenced and nodded with a smile. She followed Kalten towards the song. "It's a beautiful voice..."

Rin returned a moment later with a full pitcher which she poured into the basin, sending little plumes of steam into the air. She turned to her husband's and picked up her son to undress him, "You go first love, I have a sneaking suspicion he won't be enjoying this".

Liam began to fuss as he was undressed and swaddled in a towel instead.

Kalten grinned as he looked back to his friend, "Yeah, maybe it's a siren, or a harpie. Come on let's go see". He waded deeper into the jungle toward the sound of the voice and the buzzing grew louder around them.

Pallon have Rin a kiss on the temple. "you know where to find me if you need help." He gently brushed back liams hair before heading towards the bath room.

Lucia suddenly got a cautious look as the creatures were mentioned. "aren't those dangerous?"

Rin smirked and laid Liam down on the bed in order to pull back her hair into a bun. She scooped her son up and put him in the basin where he proceeded to squirm and fuss in the warm water, spilling it over the edges, "It'll go faster if you just stay still baby boy".

Kalten smirked devilishly and gave Lucia a sideways glance as he leaned against a tree trunk, "It's alright, I was just kidding. Rin's been teaching me about some of the animals and myths around the world. Harpies usually stick to outward laying crag and islands, and siren's are out at sea but..." He finally turned to her with a playful smile, "If it is a siren then it'll only effect me and you can just tie me to a tree". He continued to slither through the underbrush.

A highpitched tweet could be heard and a hummingbird dropped down from the canopy to hover in the space between Kalten and Lucia. It was joined by three more of its comrades and they all watched the children before buzzing into the thick foliage with a chorus of twitters and peeps. The singing became louder until it abruptly stopped and a muffled voice could be heard talking.

Pallon didn't take long in the shower. He walked out of the bathroom as he toweled his hair dry. He smirked. "giving you a hassle?"

Lucia smiled as kalten explained. "I think I can manage that." She watched the birds curiously.

"Nope" Rin grunted as she lifted a still squirming yet clean Liam from the basin. She swaddled him in the towel as he dripped water into the floor, "We're just fine, right little man"?

Liam whined and sniffled as he wiggled and freed his hands to reach out to his father, pleading with him.

Kaltens ears perked and he no longer made a sound as he brushed past the giant ferns and stepped over the noisy twigs underfoot. He had a dagger drew and ready, and he peered through the plants only to smile wide in anticipation.

Rettika was sitting on a downed log in the middle of a small opening with Healia at her feet. She had over fifty hummingbirds either sitting on or around her. If one looked closely, the branches of the surrounding trees were color purple and blue with small flecks of white. Hundreds of hummingbirds were perched, preening, sleeping, or watching the lorren woman.
