Pallon smirked and nodded. "It does..." He quickened his steps some and followed the scent of the food. It didnt take long for him to find it either

"Oh I remember... That just means Ill have to watch you extra close so I can catch you with your eyes closed." Lucia smiled sweetly at Kalten and held an innocent look.

Nick scowled. "Yeah until every other one tries to challenge you."

"Oh I'm sure they will Reti." Cass replied, taking Ryelins hand as they walked out to the dining area where her father was already seated.

Rin held onto Pallon a little tighter as he quickened his pace and made sure Liam was snug between them. She glanced around the dining hall as they entered and greeted Sigurn with a soft smile, "Good morning sir, sleep well"?

Loud scuffing could be heard from the door of the dining hall and Nivallia came in dragging a laxodazical looking Crucivander by the horn. She released him and he graciously pulled a chair for her at the table, "Hey y'all, how dah mornin treetin yahs"?

Kalten smiled as if accepting her challenge and turned to Nick with a confident grin, "Just let them try, I can take em". He stuck out his chin defiantly and puffed out his chest with a charming smile to Lucia as he marched down the hall.

Rettika called Healia and skipped out into the hall with her usual bright smile, "Oh hi everyone! Come to eat breakfast no doubt, but just be nice because Cassie and I worked hard on this and you better like it". She set the logs of sugar cane on the table as she spoke and pulled her wild hair into a ponytail.

Sigurn smiled at Rin and her family. "Morning. As well as can be expected." There were bandages on his back covering the scratches Mahia had given him. He chuckled at Nivallia and Crucivander.

Pallon set Rin and Liam down in a chair before taking a seat himself. "Well it certainly smells good."

Nick smirked slightly. "We'll see. Your father could barely-" He ducked as Bear swiped at him and then ran past the group with a laugh and into the dining room.

Lucia blushed ever so slightly and giggled.

Cass took a seat next to her father as he motioned them over. She pulled Ryelin down next to her, though he seemed thouroughly intent on chewing on the sweet treat he was given.

Rin smiled, slightly embarrassed at having been carried into breakfast, "Just for the record that's a common occurance for us, the carrying thing". She waved as Cass, Rhyelin, and Rettika joined them and shook her head at Nivallia and Crucivander with a light chuckle.

Kalten laughed out the air he had been holding to puff out his chest as Nick ran past them. He rolled his eyes and jumped slightly as there was a squeal, putting a hand infront of Lucia protectively, "What was that"?

Rettika hadn't taken her seat yet when Nick came rushing in and she had bolted over to him with excited laughter, "Oh that's so sweet! Look you hairs just like mine, sorta! Awe did you want to fit in more? Well your very dashing good job on the hair cut, it's lorren approved"! She picked at his white tips and continued to giggle and grin.

Sigurn chuckled. "You dont need to explain." He looked towards Rettika as she bolted to Nick. He looked at the boy with a raised brow. "That on the other, may cause problems..."

Pallon held in his laughter as Nicks face went beat red. "What the h*** happened to you?"

Wolf entered the room from another direction and Smirked at his brother. "Lucia took an issue with his snoring."

Lucia halted and cocked her head at the sound.

"I'm guessing that was Cass's friend, lady in waiting, or whatever the h*** she is." Bear answered, seemingly not alarmed with thsituation.

"Then why isn't your hair completely white by now"? Rin glanced to Wolf with a grin. She let out her laughter slowly and motioned to Nick, "Where the h*** did she even find something to do that"?! She then glanced to Nivallia who had already begun to rub her temples.

Nivallia sat forward in her seat to lean on the table as she rubbed her temples irritably. She grumbled to herself and shot Rettika a death glare as the womans voice grew steadily louder fawning over Nicks new look. "I'm never going to get used to her... it's like steel on stone".

Crucivander had taken a seat beside his sister and patted her back reassuringly, "Sokay Nivi, we actin liek dat too if we sees each uddah foh dah firs tiem buh we grews up tageddah". He grew stiff as something large and furry brushed his leg but calmed as Healia popped her head out with a purr.

Kalten eased back and cleared his throat awkwardly before moving on, "Sorry, usually when we hear screaming it's a bad thing". He returned to his nonchalant demeanor and strolled into the room with a smirk.

Wolf smirked. "cause I wake up before she gets the chance. You'd be surprises how resourceful she is."

"watch Nivallia someday you won't even remember what it's like not having her around." Pallon said with an evil little smile.

Bear chuckled and nodded. "cause it usually is a bad thing."

Lucia followed kalten into the room and held the perfect look of innocent. "good morning everyone!"

"Not really, after all you're her father and you do the same thing. Oh look, here comes the little angel now" Rin replied trying to mimic Rettika's excitement. She chuckled as she tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear and smacked Pallon's arm playfully, "Be nice".

Nivallia scowled at the commander fiercely and almost looked ready to start throwing dishes when Lucia and the others entered the hall. She hissed to them across the table, "Let's see how resourceful you are ranger and shut that overgrown priss up"!

Crucivander laughed and beat on the table with a wry grin, "Oooooh Nivi, cohm yohsef! Ain't no harmin in sher talkin an yah listenin. Shers a good gal an yoh ain't righ now". The more he spoke, the more demanding and serious he became until Nivallia eventually sat back with a huff and a defeated gaze down.

Rettika remained blissfully unaware of the conversation behind her and she bent over to rest her ands on her knees and look at the pair of children, "You, missy, are really good at your job. It's very thorough I'm impressed. So now all the ladies will be on him like bees on honey". She stood again and waved to Bear, "And good morning to you too"!

Pallon laughed. "Hey, I have to be an a** some times or else I just p*** off everyone!"

Wolf just shrugged with a smirk in response to Nivallia. He smiled warmly at Lucia and only faultered slightly when seeing Kalten with her.

Lucia gave Rettika a respectful bow. "Thank you."

Nick continued to blush and mumbled under his breath as he sat with a huff.

Bear grunted in response to Rettika. He didnt make eye contact and had deigned his mask os stoicism once more.

Sigurn watched everyone in amused silence. His eyes flicked to Bear and one brow rose questioningly. "And who was the fool to challege you to a duel?"

Rin sighed curtly which quickly morphed into laughter, "I'd say something otherwise if A) I didn't know it was completely true and B) It wasn't the exact circumstances that we met". She reached up and kissed his cheek before looking to a groggy Liam who had began to stir, "No mimicking daddy, you're going to be a gentleman".

Kalten immediately felt as if he were being watched and swept his gaze across the room only to stop halfway as he spotted Wold staring at him. He cocked his head like a lost puppy and raised a curious brow, almost mirroring Sigurn.

Crucivander watched Rettika from the corner of his eye as she walked behind him and came to sit beside him. He spread a charming smile and leaned forward to look at Sigurn as he spoke.

Rettika smiled warmly to Lucia with a nod and giggled at Bear before returning to her seat near Cass and Ryelin. She smiled happily back to Crucivander and flicked her gaze between Sigurn and Bear, waiting for an answer.
