Nianna chuckled. "It'll go by faster than you think, Sisian." She looked down to Kaisiin who shyly hid her face.

Lucia looked over to Kalten as he spoke, her fear had melted partially away.

Dagan gave Kalten one of his slight smiles.

Sigurns voice carried back through the group, "We've only got a mile or so before we start seeing the ouskirts of Dududan."

Rin waved her hand at Nianna, "Aye, so everyone keeps telling me". She grinned and addressed Sigurn after he spoke, "So what's Dududan like"? She looked up to the man as he continued to lead them.

Kalten chuckled and smiled softly at his brother before watching Lucia from the corner of his eye. His head snapped up as Sigurn spoke and he tightened his hold on his brother slightly, but not enough to hurt him. He held an untrusting caution in his gaze as he watched the lage lorren.

Nianna smiled and looked to the lorren.

Sigurn chuckled. "it is a beautiful city full of life. Unlike the stone cities of ceveria or the handbuilt brick and wood buildings of Dumerrin and alenthia, we live amongst the trees. " he motioned to the large tropical trees around them. "they provide us with what we need to make our homes, and our city is both a part of the jungle and the ocean... Dududan is the largest of our settlements and where the council meets."

Rin smiled politely and giggled, "Ceveria's beautiful too! But I know what you mean, just walking through the jungle is extravagant with so much nature around us".

A bug flew by Rin's face and Liam reached up trying to catch it as it buzzed around them. He succeeded in smashing it between his hands with an amused and disgusted smile from his mother.

Crucivander was fiddling with his sisters hair, placing colorful flowers behind her ears. He even made a necklace for her of the same kind and froze as a hummingbird came to drink from one of them. It's blue green body shimmered in the sun as its purple head bobbed in and out of the flowers petals. It had a forked tail with a single large purple plume on each tip. It's tiny claws were completely covered with two balls of white feathers and it quickly buzzed away after seeing the man.

"aye, but it's cold there. It's not here." Sigurn replied with a grin. nature is natural art. Only a gentle cultivating hand is needed."

Nianna shook her head with a smile at Liam . "to us it is perfect."

Tovheir Watched the hummingbird with narrowed eyes and muttered under his breath.

"It is perfect and cold... it's perfectly cold" Rin muttered to no one in particular. She laughed heartily at the look on Nivallia's face and smiled like only a mother could as Liam reached and clapped at Nianna with his soft cooing.

"You'll be fine scaredy cat" Kalten grinned as he called up to Tohveir, "Its only one, what's it gunna do? Hum at you"?

Sigurn laughed, sounded almost like a barking. "if it makes no difference to you I'll just stay where it's warm." He motioned slightly to a building in the jungle. "the outskirts."

Nianna smiled and waved at Liam.

Tovheir looked at kalten. "see it's long beak? Try having it go for your eyes. Or a swarm of them... use your imagination."

Amelia smacked tovheirs arm. "oh hush, they're not that scary."

"Try using your hands! They're just as easy to swat away"! Kalten retorted with a mischievous grin.

Rin observed the large structure curiously then moved to the other side of Nianna and gently cuffed Kalten over the head with a smirk, "You mean like that"? The soft scowl she received made her smile and she ruffled the boys hair before waving at Dagan.

Liam was too preoccupied with Kaisiin and Nianna to really keep his attention on any one thing.

Tovheir glared at Kalten. "Next time we find a griffen I'm feeding you to it!" He drew his attention away and to the shack/building.

Dagan reached for Rin with one hand and 'smacking' Kaltens cheek trying to grab her hand.

Nianna chuckled and showed Kaisiin her cousin, speaking in both Common and Ceverian.

Soon enough more buildings could be picked out from the trees and shrubbery. Some mere shacks, others more elaborate.

Kalten laughed joyously until he was hit in the face and he broke off with lighthearted chuckling, "Hey! Dag! Ow, that hurt"! He glanced down at his brother with a lopsided grin and held him higher for Rin to see.

Rin was laughing to herself, "a little over a year old and he already has a sense of irony". She reached her arm down to hold Dagan's tiny hand and winked at Kaisiin as Nianna spoke to her. "Yes little one, you will be learning Ceverian as well and if Ii'ander has his way you'll know the nation's languages plus some".
