Pallon chuckled and purred. He kissed rind cheek, and wiggled his fingers for Liam. He glanced over his shoulder to cruvivander with a dark look in his eye.

Bear chuckled slightly and nodded. "uh huh, sure..."

The lorrens halted once outside the cave and in the open, letting their charges get accustomed to their tropical surrounding. The sounds of birds were constant along with the hollerings of monkeys and lemurs. The cave looked normal as any and there was the sound of a waterfall nearby.

Cass was waiting for the group outside, and seemed slightly pale, but in good spirits.

Rin held in her laughter and sighed. She spotted Cass and cast a conned glance her way, "Is eveything alright dear"? He shifted her hold on Liam as the infant laughed from his father's wiggling fingers.

Crucivander gave Pallon a lighthearted chuckle and winked at the man. He came to a stop as the group did and looked to the pale woman as she appeared to greet them.

Nivallia was still too incoming her new surroundings to notice Cass join their group. Her head jerked on alert with every call of a native creature.

Kalten punched his father's side, though he knew it wouldn't do any damage, "Quit picking, since when do assassins interrogate"? He folded his arms as he pouted silently.

Cass nodded with a small smile. "the portals don't agree with me often, but I am fine." She smiled more as Ryelin went to her.

Pallon turned his focus back on Liam and smiled.

bear ruffled Kaltens hair. "you're not ready for that lesson yet." His expression changed as he looked around at their surroundings.

The pair of warriors seemed intent on moving forward to the rest of the escort.

Rin nodded and watched her cousin approach Cass before turning her attention back to the two Lorrens that escorted them across. "So where to now"? She asked the ambassador almost cheerily.

Liam cooed and blinked as the light hit his eyes. He glanced around slowly from his parents to the other lorrens and ending at the forests edge where bright colorful birds caught his full attention.

Kalten swatted at his father's hand and laughed with a bright smile like he usually wore, "Says you". He sensed his father's mood shift and calmed himself, following his lead.

Cass smiled. "we follow them to the rest of the escort, and begin our trek to dududan."

Tovheir walked past them, grumbling about being swarmed by birds.

Bear walked in silence, watching the surroundings carefully and the lorrens even more so. He got an itch on the back of his neck and he looked at the warriors, speaking to them in their native tongue. He scowled angrily when they ignored him.

"Lead away then. I'm sure some of us are just itching to explore" Rin replied with a look over her shoulder to Lucia and Kalten. "Or escape the masses of beautiful tropical birds, whatever" She shrugged with an amused smirk to Tohveir.

Kalten flicked his gaze between his father and the lorrens without moving his head. He stared ahead as he addressed the man quietly, "What's wrong Bear"?

Tovheir shot Rin a Lookand continued on.

Cass chuckled and nodded, following after a moment of reassuring and convincing Ryelin.

Bear grumbled and glared at the lorrens. "the b******* are ignoring me, and refusing to answer a question that could pertain to us all." He glanced to kalten. "can you hold your brother? Is rather not hurt him if I loose my temper..." His eyes shot to the male lorrwn as he spoke.

"interesting term for one of your... Lineage..." The male didn't so much as glance back towards bear and kalten. "I suspect your sons are no better b****** assassin."

Rin brushed off Tohveirs look with a roll of her eyes and she followed but became stiff as she overheard the male Lorren. She stepped closer to Pallon and rocked Liam gently as he watched the birds and flowers.

Kalten immediately and carefully took Dagan from Bear and glared at the large man as he insulted his family. He forcefully bit his tongue and left to stand between Crucivander and Nivallia, both of which were now on high alert.

Pallon have Rin a reassuring squeeze around the shoulders and watched, ready to step in.

Bear growled menacingly at the warrior, but to no real effect. It was taken everything he had not to kill the larger man.

"do not defend your family? Hmmm..." He appeared to have been about to say more when he was firmly and viciously slapped across his face.

Cass our herself inbetween the two and pushed the warrior forcibly enough to flatten him to the ground. She spoke slowly and menacingly to the man who looked on in terror at the sudden attack. Seemingly calm Cass turned to her brother. "what was you question?" Her voice was kind once more and she acted as if nothing had happened.

Rin smirked as she was squeezed and winced with a sharp breath in at the crack of Cass's slap. She turned and smiled at the woman with disbelief and newfound respect as she watched the cowering man on the ground.

Kalten was trying his hardest not to laugh at the look on the warrior's face. He snorted to let the urge pass and smiled at his aunt as well, a glimmer of pride sat in his eyes.
