Tovheir folded his arms across his chest and shrugged. "I don't have respect for those that are deserters. I thought her one of them and thus no I could not have been a bit gentler..." He turned and began back down the path towards the city.

Mage looked at kalten. "I am, and how exactly would I have been mean telling her parents she was gone?"

Amelia Stopped and looked at mage. "because my mother is a b**** that is trying to grab power and I am a disgrace to our family. She attacked me when I went to them and had she of known I was coming she could have planned better..." She sighed and shook her head. "anyways, I'm off. You all take care of yourselves."

Rin rolled her eyes at Tohveir and glance at Amelia as she bid them all farewell, "Oi, where do you think you're going? We killed what little protection you had out here. You can't just go wondering the mountain by yourself all willy nilly. It's dangerous, and that's coming from the fat lady who gutted a dozen of these idiots". She pointed to the corpses that lay scattered around them.

Kalten smirked, "Yeah, what she said. You could've gotten in trouble too yaknow, or worse. Rumors catching fire and s*** like that". He stood and dusted himself off, "Believe me I've been burned more than once by trying to do what I thought was right".

Tovheir paused in his step for a brief moment but kept going, several of the others following him.

Amelia stopped and looked to Rin. "where else am I to go? And before you say go with you all, it's been made clear by theking of a**** that I'm not welcome..." She didn't even flinch as Tovheir shot her a glare over his shoulder.

"he can get over it. As far as I'm concerned we owe you a debt and our family also repay those that help us." Taivil spoke up and Ryelin nodded in agreement.

"There you have it. Now can I say come with us? Or do you need me to be more specific"? Rin grinned as she stood and offered a hand, "Besides, it'll give you a chance to get back at said king of a****, h*** I may even help you". She whispered the last part with a cunning smile.

Kalten smiled widely before getting onto his feet and racing after Tohveir and the others. He chuckled to himself as he stopped by bodies on his way to collect and clean his daggers.

Amelia looked at Rin. "you're not going to take no for an answer are you..."

Pallon Shook his head. "it's not likely."

Amelia sighed and took rins hand. "ok..."

Taivil chuckled and started to follow after his brother with Nianna holding his hand.

Rin smiled sweetly and shook Amelia's hand before releasing her and going to follow the group as they made their way back. She went to Pallon and hugged his arm, "What of the snare? Are we not going to check it"?

Kalten had a blade between every finger and cleaned them as he walked, trying to ignore his throbbing head.

Nivallia followed silently as did Crucivander with his normal goofy smile.

Amelia followed at the back of the group obviously avoiding several people.

Pallon looked to Rin. "after that, no. Some Of us are injured and were all tired, plus they're not going to try to bait a lizard when a pregnant woman is around..." He was silent for a moment. "do you want me to carry you? It's a ways to the city."

Bear watched his son from the corner of his eye. He was wary of kaltens injury and wanted to make sure he was really ok.

Rin honestly wouldn't have loved anything more than to be carried by her husband and feel his protective arms around her, but as she examined his cuts she winced out of habit and became apprehensive, "Only if you feel up to it, and don't be pulling any stunts. If you're hurting then I'll walk it".

"So what'd I do wrong"? Kalten spoke up as he finished cleaning his blades and sheathed them in his belt. He looked up at his father, "I obviously didn't do something right".

Pallon stopped and looked at Rin before gently picking her up. "just don't squirm or I won't beable to hold onto you." He nuzzled her cheek as he started walking again.

Bear looked fully at kalten and chuckled. "nothing. You did really well during the fight. I'm just making sure you don't fall over or suddenly pass out from that head injury. I'm sure it's giving you a killer headache right now."

Rin nodded her head, promising she wouldn't and rested her head in the crook of Pallon's neck as he scooped her up and continued on. She wrapped her arms around his neck and closed her eyes as she delicately messed with his braid. She fought to stay awake but was failing miserably as she breathed in his scent.

"I'd ask 'is it that obvious' but to you everything's obvious" Kalten smirked and rubbed his eyes, "I'll be fine, it's definitely not as bad as that concussion Wolf gave me. Though I may have a nice lump by the time we get to the castle". He rubbed his head and grumbled irritably.
