Pallon was tense as the elephant stood, but was fine again after. He smiled and nodded. "Aye..."

Bear kept watch as the elephant moved, keeping an eye on both Rin and Pallon and the surrounding area.

Juke had the ostiches and elephant going at a faster pace than before and was going a direct line towards the city instead of the path that they had taken.

Rin shifted and rested her head between his shoulder blades as they moved, relieved to be heading back. She felt hot and her arms were beginning to burn slightly, but she didn't know whether it was from her injury or the hot Dumerrin sun.

Kalten bobbed up and down as the ostrich hastened to follow the others, still eyeing the surroundings nervously. He looked up to watch his father and the others on the elephant before looking to Tai'vil, "What do you think is wrong with her"?

Pallon shifted ever so slightly to try and look at Rin. "are you ok? You feel warm...or is it just me?"

Bear continued to watch the surroundings, and glanced once to kalten to see how he was faring.

Taivil had been staying close to kalten. He looked at the boy and then glanced to Rin. "I'm not sure. She has a scratch on her arm that much I saw. it could be everything getting to her or it could be something more."

"Could be your ice melting" Rin shrugged and lifted her hand to her eyes as she looked into the sky. She heaved a sigh and supressed a groan as she began to feel the ache in her arm flow into her back.

"I hope it's just nerves, otherwise..." Kalten mumbled as he looked up to the couple. He caught his father's glance and saluted to him with a grin.

Pallon nodded. "that could be..." ha sighed. "I'm sorry..."

Taivil nodded in agreement. "if it's not she's going to feel even more guilty..."

Bear smiled and saluted his son in response before checking the grasses again.

It wasn't long before the city came into veiw and they were nearing the gates

Rin let her hand fall and brought both of them to rest on his shoulders, "For what love"? She leaned to the side to look at him with concern.

Kalten grinned and faced tai'vil again, his grin morphing into a sad frown, "I just hope Pallon doesn't freak or they're both in trouble".

"for making you worry. I should have paid more attention, but I didn't." Pallon explained. He placed one of his hands over one of hers.

"he will if he finds out. Let's hope it's after she given a clean bill of health." Taivil replied.

They were now under the gates going into the city. It was noticeably less crowded.

Rin relaxed considerably and leaned softly on his shoulder, "Oh my brave tiger, we don't plan for these things to happen, and you were protecting us". She snuggled between his shoulder blades and could feel her energy draining as fatigue set in.

Kalten nodded in agreement and heaved a sigh of relief as they reentered the city, "Aye, but the longer I watch her the more I think she wont".

Pallon sighed. "still... I should have been more careful..."

Taivil nodded. "aye, which is why I will see to it that she is seen first, or at least at the same time."

Juke halted the group once they made it to the palace. He immediately sent someone to fetch the healers.

Rin gulped as she began to sweat and nodded her head, "You and I should practice more really". She smiled faintly as her eyesight began to blur, making everything around her nothing but a colored smudge.

Kalten became more vigilant, "It better be soon, or you might have to catch her". He dismounted and handed he reins to a groom.
