She sniffles and hugs him tightly. She hesitantly licks the water from his chest, needing something to calm the burning in her throat.

He left the cabin for a moment, going on deck and gathering raindrops so she could have fresh water to drink as he returned.

Majesty flicks her ears in his direction, laying on her side still thoroughly tangled in the blankets.

He grabbed them swiftly and gave them a flick, unraveling them all at once so she was freed. He decided not to ask how she'd gotten herself into that situation.

She whispers her thanks and drinks up the water gratefully. She still wasn't sure she wanted to speak to him. She didn't know how. What could she say?

He studied her closely and carefully to make sure she wasn't in any immediate danger. He hadn't even shaken off yet after coming back aboard.

Majesty finishes the water in minutes and then curls up tightly just in front of him.

He exited the cabin once more to shake off, grumbling a short complaint about how sea sick he felt as he tried to dry his thin fur coat.

Majesty continues to shiver in the tiny ball she'd curled herself to, scared to sleep again.

"Hey, I'll be right back okay?" He gently ran his paw over her smooth fur before grabbing the nearby wool scrap and pulling it over her. He once again exited the cabin to go above deck for just a minute.
