He noticed her nerves, and felt the corners of his mouth pull into a slight frown at her tension. Dangit, did he do something? He shook it off, figuring now was his change to right whatever he'd done, and led her into the vegetable patch, snuffling about for onion and garlic for starters, being the first thing he wanted to get out of the way.

She licks her lips nervously, then after a moment she speaks up. "What would you like me to help you find?" she asks softly.

He sat up and spat out an onion, slightly wrinkling his nose. "Well, you know what green peppers smell like?" he asked her. "If you could find me a few of those, that would be wonderful." he flicked his snake tail and smiled at her.

"Okay," she agrees with a slight nod. She takes a few moments to recall the scent before searching out the vegetable. She would gladly help Nagen, since Ken obviously had forgotten about dinner for the moment.

"KEN!" Nagen shouted loudly.
"WHAT!?!?" he called back.
"QUIT PLOTTING TO SET MY TAIL ON FIRE AND GO GET SOME WATER!!!" Nagen hollered.
"FINE!!!!" Ken turned and sauntered off. Nagen grunted, satisfied with his roommate's cooperation, and turned back, searching for some nice spicy greens.

Majesty finds the green peppers as she giggles at the pair's antics, bringing two to where he had dropped the onion. "Is two enough?" she asks Nagen, still kind of giggly. The fact that Ken seemed to have regularly plotted to, and probably attempted, to set Nagen's tail on fire bothered her some. Nagen's assurance from earlier rings through her mind, that they did this stuff all the time and it was just for fun and games, and successfully pacifies her.

Nagen snuffed around in the veggie-patch until he'd found what he needed and loaded his arms, attempting to balance on two legs to carry everything back all at once. He eventually gave up on that after falling over several times, and settled for lying on his back, and pushing himself out of the patch with his back legs, feeling rather silly at the moment.

Majesty giggles and gathers about half of the vegetables onto her back with her tail. "Fire King Nagen silly," she teases as she carries her load back to the fire.

"Fire King Nagen try to carry more veggies." He grinned, letting his load roll off of him. "Where Fire King Ken with that water?" he wondered frowning.

"Fire Queen not sure," Majesty says with another giggle at just how silly this little game was. But it was fun too, and she didn't mind. She was Nagen's Queen after all.
