Nagen listened to her walk closer to the pile of junk and turned to his roommate as Kenneth cleared his throat. "What?" Nagen quirked an eyebrow.
Kenneth jerked his feathery tail in Majesty's direction. "Keeper!" he grinned. Nagen blushed. "Shut up dude. It's not like that." he denied.
....Yet His mind added, and he allowed himself a secret smile at the thought.

Majesty blushes deeply before starting to feel the scraps of metal. "What are you building, Ken?" she asks softly. The compliment had her unsure about what to feel, especially Nagen's denial. It hurt a little, not knowing if it would ever get beyond friendship. Maybe he didn't feel the attraction like she did.

Kenneth flicked his ears. "Oh, just a sculpture." he shrugged, turning back to Nagen, speaking quieter to make sure she wouldn't hear him this time. "She is, Juliet to your Romeo. She is Year of the Horse to your Year of the Snake." he grinned.
Nagen wrinkled his nose. "Okay, okay, you got me. I like her." he blushed furiously. "Just please don't act like an idiot, please. The last time I brought someone over here was a disaster!"
"I'll try to embarrass you more than usual." Kenneth promised.
"Jerk!" Nagen hissed.

"You boys okay or do I have to break up a fight? I'm usually not one for violence, but I can get involved if need be," Majesty says, turning her head towards them.

Kenneth pushed his roommate's muzzle into the dirt before he could offer a reply and grinned. "Nope." he bounced back over to his ruined project as Nagen sat up, rubbing the dirt off his nose. He pinned his ears flat to the sides of his head, blushing. He hoped Majesty hadn't overheard any of their conversation. He really, really liked her, but he couldn't be sure she felt the attraction toward him that he did. And he wanted to be sure before he, or his obnoxious roommate, could say anything that might mess up his chances with the unique beauty he'd met.

"Good," she answers with a smile. "I hate it when best friends fight. It's so sad."

Nagen spat dirt from his mouth and rubbed his nose. "Nah, it's cool. We weren't fighting."
"I was just informing him of something he'd likely be smart not to pass up." Kenneth told her, picking up a metal pannel. "I'm trying to figure out how to get these parts to move without always flying off. This thing's exploded once, caught on fire, and fallen apart three times." he pouted.
"Maybe you should try to make a project a little less dangerous. And while we're on the subject, some regular tunnels?" Nagen quirked an eyebrow.
"Nonsense. They just take some getting used to." Kenneth shrugged, turning to Majesty. "Have you ever worked with human objects before?"

"All the time," she admits. "Though they're more... chemicals, I think is the word the humans use." It was necessary to grow her crystals and could be dangerous. She knew a bit about humans thanks to Blossom, who was fascinated by them. Not that she was complaining. It was good knowledge to have.

"Well, then you might not have too much trouble taking off with this." Ken grinned and pushed a panel into her hands, dashing off. Nagen turned to Majesty. "Sorry. This is kind of why I warned you before hand." He flicked his ears, blushing furiously as Kenneth threw a bunch of miscellaneous items off of the hockey puck they used as a table. Nagen tapped her lightly with his tail. "Sorry you had to come in to such a mess." He apologized.

She shakes her head, giggling. "Nagen, it's fine. I'm used to others making messes that I have to clean up." She sets the panel down, not knowing what Ken wanted her to do with it in the first place. "Besides, Ken seems like... fun, at least."
