"Coming your way!" he calls to Nuala, getting the minnows into the current and then carefully backing up so he doesn't fall over the waterfall as well.

Nuala giggled and scooped them up in her jaws, careful not to squash them. She brought them carefully to the bank, realizing she'd forgot to grab something to use as a bucket.

Rudolph listens carefully for her return to the waterfall before he starts to chase more minnows. They seemed to be everywhere, and while this might normally be a fun game it almost seemed like a chore with the mood he was in.

Nuala sniffed at a tree hollow close to the roots, delighted to find it had water in it. It was only a few feet from the creek, so she could make trips back here easily. She emptied the minnows into the water where they would be safe, and headed back into the creek to wait for more minnows.

His ear twitches as he catches the sound of her walking back into the water. "Here comes another round," he warns before chasing another small group into the waterfall's current.

She giggled, overjoyed to be sharing this game with him. "You're a natural!" She praised, snapping up as many of the minnows as she could and running them to the tree. She cannonballed into the creek this time, having the day of her life.

He can't help but let out a little chuckle. "It's just like playing tag," he points out, chasing more minnows down to her and this time following the flow of the waterfall with the little fish so he lands beside her and can catch a few as well.

She snapped them up, tripping over his paws and falling into the water. She laughed with a mouthful of minnows, dripping some of them as she tried to stop the giggles.

He chuckles and catches the ones she drops before helping her up. "Let's go," he says around his mouthful of fish.

She smiled at him and shook off a bit. "Alright. There's a small hollow in the tree over there. It's full of water. Put those ones in there while I go grab a bucket." She told him, starting off quickly back toward their picnic spot.
