"Teach you some self control." He replied simply, beginning his shimmying descent down the cliff wall toward the beach. She would have to learn to manage her emotions if she wanted to live in his environment.

She sticks her tongue out at him. "How are you going to do that?" she pouts, following him.

Through careful instruction and practice." He told her simply. He went out to the jetty, where the waves crashed hard against the rocks. He began to climb to the top where two weaves mats of seaweed had been carefully laid out by him during the night.

She continues to follow him slowly, not quite sure what he meant. She lowers her head, thinking that maybe something was wrong with her. Was there? There seemed to be.

Maverick settled on a seaweed mat, facing the sunrise. She would settle across from him, facing the ocean. He felt the cool morning breeze bringing the mist off the water, and he breathed the calming sea air, letting it bring him positive energy. He was eager to begin teaching her.

Blossom soon gets the hint and lays on the other mat, stretching herself out and pausing to feel the morning air and gentle breeze rolling over her fur. She was curious as to what he had planed, but she did have to admit, this was very soothing.

"I'm going to start by allowing you to enjoy the dawn and let it relax your mind and soul before I begin with a simple collection of words." He told her, breathing in the salt tainted air and allowing the glorious scent and sound of the ocean to invigorate him.

She sighs softly and rests her head on her paws, her tail swishing restlessly against the mat and rocks. She wasn't used to this peace. In the forest, there was none. Something was always moving, always making noise. It was always busy and loud in different ways. She wasn't sure she liked this idea of his.

"Why are you so restless?" He asked her, his voice level. How could she be tense and restless in the most beautiful and peaceful environment there could ever be.

She slows her tail and her ears heat in embarrassment. "I'm not used to peace with near silence," she admits shyly. "There's always four or more different sounds even in a peaceful forest. It's just... not what I know."
