1X1 with ~Griffin: Scout and Akane

Ami nestles into her fur andScout curls his tail around both of them. "My two special girls," he whispers, nuzzling Akane's neck lightly.

They were like a giant cozy bundle of fluffy, furry warmth, and Akane almost didn't want to be pulled back into reality, though she slowly felt the sleep of the night wearing off, gradually being replaced by awareness.

Scout doesn't stop nuzzling her neck, pulling her closer to him. He could stay right here, cuddled this close to her forever. It was so wonderful, and warm, and everything seemed perfect. Everything would be perfect in time.

(Sorry, network shut down. Had to call a guy out to reset our whole system thingy and what not. )

As hard as she tried, Akane couldn't keep the awareness away, and found herself coming back to the world of the awake, snuggled up warmly between Scout and Ami. She was awake, but she decided she didn't want to move, and readjusted slightly so everyone came to rest in a more comfortable position, deciding she wouldn't disturb them until they were ready.

He buries his muzzle in her fur, breathing in the sweet scent of strawberries and sighing happily. This was so wonderful, just holding her like this. She didn't seem to mind it, if she was even awake, and it made him feel so happy. He hoped that one day they might become more than friends, but only time would tell that. For now, having her here was enough.

Akane would've been perfectly content to spend the rest of her day with Scout and Ami, but she was one to get a jump on the day once she woke up. But she didn't want to disturb Scout and Ami, and her paws weren't too itchy to move yet.

"I love you," Scout says softly, running his paw over Akane's side. He was an early riser most mornings so Ami was still asleep and wouldn't hear, but that was okay. She knew he loved her, and he would teller later when she did wake up. He hoped Akane heard though.

Akane smiled around her drowsiness and yawned. "Good morning my dear Scout." she said quietly, careful not to wake Ami. The youngling grunted in her sleep and burrowed into Akane's fur, causing her smile to widen.

"Good morning, Akane," he murmurs with a smile. He rubs his cheek against hers lovingly. "How did you sleep?"

"Like a newborn." she purred happily, stretching carefully so she wouldn't disturb the young one.
