"I don't remember the exact years, Magic Man, so we'll just assume and hope you're right." Felicity shrugged, pacing around the control deck. "Why do you have so many buttons? It looks like you only use a few."

"Well,first things first.The TADIS was meant to be controlled by eight people,so eight individual panels.And there are a lot of things that can go wrong,a lot of things that need to be controlled.Not everything at one time." He said,taking her wrist lightly and setting it on the lever."Just pull this,and away we go!" He said with an eager smile.

"Eight people, huh? Couldn't you, I dunno, go and pick up seven companions, bring them all along?" Felicity pulled the lever back, looking up at the Doctor.

"If I had seven companions,that's seven different places they want to go,and seven extra people to make sure don't die in my close care." He said,as the TARDIS faded from the outside veiw.

"Right. Do people often die when they work with you? If so, that's not something you want to tell them. Not exactly a good cheer-up thing to say, if you catch my drift."

"No!Thats not what I meant to say." He said,his eyes going wide,"Not at all what I meant to say!No!" He said,freaking out more than he should.

Felicity raised one eyebrow. "Sure, okay. Right, now I'm curious. Do people have a habit of dying when they work or travel with you?"

"No." he said,walking to the other side of the panel.He couldn't look up,he was afraid he would lose it.Just like he lost everyone.Just like he would lose her.

"Well, okay! Matter solved! It's not like the chance of death would scare me off, anyway. I've stood on the edge of an active volcano before, I don't scare easy." Felicity clapped her hands. "So, Magic Man. Do you have questions? It's not fair if I have to do all the asking."

"Have you tried fish fingers and custard yet?" He said,looking up at her.
