"Well.Im picky because I have all this time to figure out what I like and what I don't like.No,I've had a few people before you travel with me,but that wasn't even for half my life.I cannot live forever.Timelords have two hearts,and twelve regenerations.This is my twelth form,but I have been granted another regeneration,due to a war that I fought.My planet was......" He said,pausing."I don't like to remember my planet,or my family.Though my daughter....ah.Well.Lets not go there either.And it's very lonely,being me.Ive been lonely since I ran away." He finished.

"Two hearts? What if one of them fails? What war did you fight? Did you win?" At the Doctor's words, she fell silent abruptly. "Oh." Was all she could manage, a weak gesture of sympathy at best. "What did you run from?"

"Two hearts,one of them fails Im still...here,I guess.The Time War,and I guess that could be debatable.The whole of my planet was destroyed and my race was wiped out.Judge for yourself." He said,standing.He crossed his arms,"Home.Stole a TARDIS and just ran.I haven't stopped since."

"Of course it does!" He laughed,popping up from where he sat."I didn't take you back in time just for you to leave me now,did I!" He said,standing in front of her now."Of course,I would've taken you back,but.I wouldn't have wanted you to go!"
