If the Wall Did Not Exist 1x1 with Dragon and Alpha

Shhhh... Ben.. sssss k.... the creature slurs across their minds when something cool falls on his skin, Doesna hurt.... k..? Shhh... s'not yer fault... didna mean ta.. his head lolls back limply as he's shifted into Benjamins grasp, but he wails his pain in the Kings ear.

When he falls silent it is only because it's bearable again and hes grasping at his meager strength, Shh... ssss k....didna hurt... anyone. ..matters.. shhh Be -- , He's so tiered, lost his train of thought, but his jade eyes flutter open, "F-fridge..eat...ting.." and it hurts.

Before he can block it the events from the night before flood into Bens head, starting with locking up the door, ending with Riths' first trial into Changing into a wolf. Scared.. Hurts.. Shhh ...Ben.. S-sorry.. failed ..

Rith shakes in the new wolfs' grasp, but external wounds are healing at an extra mental rate, that, of course, is thanks to the bite. In taking his most prised possession. .. the other saved his life.

Pack, after all, doesn't let pack die. (Not if they can help it anyways,)...

Bena,in sniffed as he heard the voice flood his mind. He then burried his face into the other as the memories came back. Tears rolling down his cheeks and onto the other as he held him close

It feels like centuries. Ages. Aeons. Time is meaningless, yet... it has immeasurable meaning. Strange.

It is hours later when he starts to move, his good hand - most of him requires a healer, is pushed into Bens hair, he adjusts his head to a more comfortable position on Benjamins shoulder, it's slight. When his bones begin to heal he groans behind clenched teeth, pressing lips together to hide it. Tgat knowledge would only make his friend feel worse. Sadly, he knows that the pack only does it, helps him, because he's been bitten... aided by what he is that they know nothing of.

Lips press against said hair, eyes open slightly, "It... was inevitable. It's alright. " he rasps when he's ready for the other to know he's fully awake. "Shh... dont cry." He tries to rock the weirwolf and whimpers in pain - beside himself. He can't feel his legs. He doesn't look, but counts it a blessing; "Maybe. .. we could sit on the couch. .. yeah? Floor isn't comfy." Except that he can't really feel that either. Odd.

Already his mind is waking up, coming up with things that could help him, the things which are wrong. He grasps at changing forms into something else, because that Would help, Anything else... and sobs at the terrible nothingness. Stuck. We're stuck. I'm stuck. Only one. Stuck. ... it crashes through his mind, cascades into Benjamins. Rith cant even begin to try to hide it, that pain, that fear, the complete panic. Thankfully, the Pack is not a part of his mind. How long would it be this time?

Rith tries to move more of himself, it kind of happens. Except. ....

He tears his mind away from the very idea and looks at the king with wide, sorrowful eyes. "Let's eat.. starved.." is whispered in his ear. His lips brush the others cheek.

Benjamin,in sniffed as he felt the hand and looked down at the other. Bitting his lip as he sees him starting to wake and say things. He then nodded and picke dhim up, moving the the couch. Setting him down and looking at him " f-food... right " he said and got up. Going to their cabinets and what not, finding some salted meat. Soon he began to cook it, however, it was looking just fine raw.

Rith nods to himself, leaning back on the couch, he watches Ben. "Not.. raw." Is cautioned tieredly, "makes... wolf... worse." He can't help that thrill of apprehension; he doesn't think hed survive another round.

He shuts his eyes - just for a minute! - and his breath slows, his heart however keeps its pace. He then speaks, "its.. it's alright. I forgive you. " is said at last, after innately babbling nonsense for the better part of an hour: it's nearly nine am.

Rith drifts in and out of complete conciousness, drawn back by some discomfort or another. "Water.. please. " is begged when he can't take the dryness in his throat any longer.

Benjamin listened to her but he still felt guilty. He then played the meat and nodded and he drew water. Rushing over he put the plate of a few cooked steaks and a couple glasses of water down

Rith shakily works on lifting the cup of water; it reaches his mouth - about half full, and he drinks it greedily. Then, he begins cutting his steak, and sits back, panting, in just a few minutes. Triumphantly he has a bite in his mouth.

"Thanks." He says with as much of a cheeky grin as he can manage at such low energy. His eyes sparkle, feet hanging off the couch.

But when the silence is too much he is in his head. "Talk to me," Rith the Mimic begs.

Benjamin looks down " I'm so very sorry " he said looking at his hands. Bitting his lip as tears began to form into his eyes " I-I didn't want this t-to happen " he said

Rith frowns; the expression alters his face, drastically, it fills his eyes with sorrow. He reaches out and pushes the food away, pulls Ben over to his side. "Shhh," is murmmered into his hair, "it's alright. Won't last forever. " he presses a series of kisses into the Kings hair. "Much like last time, I think. I'll survive. " the words are a gentle, dry, rebuke.

He can't feel the couch beneath his rear, panic claws at his throat, which he clears. Tries to hide it, hide the erratic beat of his heart, and the frantic rush of his breath. What had he lost? Been stolen from him, more like.

"You didnt mean too, and you are sorry, that is what matters." Rith assures after a minute. Already the exaustion is setting in, slowing his mind, easing his bodies fight or flight response. "It was... inevitable I suppose. " the creature slurs his words. "Ill... survive. .. you'll see."

Fingers run through Bens hair, "Shhh.... 'ss o...kay.." usually an articulate man the creature is just happy to talk. He could have never again, you can survive without speach. But it would have been horrible - after all, a mental voice is different from a physical one. "I don't. ...hold you .. accountable. I... forgive you."

He wants to lay down, and sleep, but closing his eyes .... he's afraid.

Benjamin looked at him and leaned into him as he hears these words. Seeing his tiredness he slowly got up and grabbed a cover with some pillows. Putting the silk sheets over him and pillows where he could rest his head " sleep " he told the other, he looked exhausted and so was himself
