The King's Guardsmen [Ranger, Spirit, and Scoin]

[Ranger 9]

Rowan looked over, at first a little annoyed that his conversation with Tyde was interrupted, but the man's expression softened when he saw Trevor. "Oh dear." He excused himself and walked over, gently pushing Junior away. Standing there for a few moments, Rowan decided to just pick the boy up. He bent over and lifted Trevor up into his arms, carrying the boy out to the door. He wasn't quite sure where their rooms were located at so he asked a passing servant. When the woman pointed him on his way, the man left.

Tyde figured he should go check in with Jessika and so did just that. He tapped her right shoulder to get her attention, as was pretty much standard for the Guards. "Hey you, everything going alright?" He checked, his gaze sweeping around the table to check on everyone.

Birch lead Roman to the side so that they were out of the way when Rowan passed. Conveniently this detour also took them out of the general hearing range. "I think Kingston might be on to something." He mumbled.

Teal moved over to stand besides Samuel, Tanner, and Kingston. "Hey... So what do you guys think about all this?"
Samuel shrugged. "I bet I can find you a couple reasons behind these disappearances just by looking at the area and situation. But those guesses won't be much to go on unless they can be proven valid. I'm pretty positive this isn't the work of the so called 'forest spirits', this has a human signature scrawled across it. Honestly, I'm just waiting for a Guard to go missing."

"Nice of you to show up." Ryan smiled to show he was just teasing. "But Gabriel can take his time, we've got all night. Someone should go get Rowan though, I think his apprentice is gonna fall asleep right at that table if he doesn't get moving." He looked pointedly at Trevor, who took no notice.

"Bingo." Jamie replied, keeping an eye on Trevor out of the corner of his eye. "Uh, hey Rowan?" He called out over his shoulder.

Trevor hit his head against the table as he slumped over, having fallen asleep right then and there. Junior took the meat happily and pawed at his human. No response, Trevor was out for the night. Junior took advantage of this and stuck his nose into Trevor's pocket, searching for more food.

Daniel and Timber
He hummed and chuckled as he rolled his eyes good-naturedly and said "Yeah, bite me..." Shaking his head, he said "Yeah, well he better come soon, or Im going to have to let Timber here have another snack..." he sighed.

Peter smiled a bit then made a sound as Trevor fell asleep...

Geana hummed and smiled as the pup took the meat and she grinned a little as she turned abck to Trevor. "Trevor?" she gasped then sighed as she shook her head...She sighed as Rowan came over and looked away...She smiled at her Mentor then hummed and shook her head...
Sandy sighed as she looked away...

Jessika and Silence
She hummed and huffed as she wondered what was up, and covered a tiyny awn as she looked up. She jumped slightly at the tap and looked back at Tyde as she noticed him. She nodded as she asked "What do we have for the night?"

Kingston looked at Sam sharply at that last comment but didn't pick up that note for now. "I'm sure no Guard will let that happen intentionally. But I do beleive this is the work of humans." A pause.

Roman felt Kingston's gaze burning the back of his neck. "I dunno what's bothering him, but he doesn't appear to be in favor of you. Or me for that matter, but I've been openly and decidedly neutral when it comes to matters like this. But tell me, what's on your mind?"

Tanner followed Kingston's gaze. "I highly doubt Roman and Birch are involved in any shady bussiness. They're probably talking about a time for Sandy to choose a dog." He lightly punched Kingston's shoulder. "Loosen up man, they ain't the kind to turn." Tanner was confident in this so Kingston let it drop even if he didn't quite agree.

Ryan shrugged, he was fine with waiting.

Trev was sound asleep, he stirred but didn't wake as he was lifted and carried out.

Tanner followed Kingston's gaze. "I highly doubt Roman and Birch are involved in any shady bussiness. They're probably talking about a time for Sandy to choose a dog." He lightly punched Kingston's shoulder. "Loosen up man, they ain't the kind to turn." Tanner was confident in this so Kingston let it drop even if he didn't quite agree.

Ryan shrugged, he was fine with waiting.

Sandy sighed again...

Geana glanced at Jamie and said "Jamie?"

Daniel hummed as he said "Okay then...Peter, how have you been?"
Peter hummed and smiled as he said "Great!"

Julie looked across the table at Sandy. "Hey, what's going on for you?" She asked, thinking the other girl sounded a little upset about something and could use some company. Julie refrained from asking 'what's up' since Jamie was nearby.

Jamie had totally spaced out for a moment, staring at Paul. But when Geana called his name he looked back over at her, startled. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you need something?"

Sorry for not responding XD serious writers block and lack of inspiration.]
After a minute, Gabriel got up and looked around for the group he had been assigned to. Spotting them, he headed over to meet Daniel, Ryan, and Peter with Trip following close behind him.

[It's cool, I know the feeling XD I've got writter's block on the original storyline for this, Ranger's doing all the work now]

Ryan looked up to see Gabriel approaching. "Hey." He called out in greeting, giving a short wave as well. The man shifted position against the wall, trying to get comfortable. He gave up and stopped leaning on it.
Murphy sneezed into one paw, ducking his head as he did so. The dog yawned and wagged his tail a few times before laying down on Ryan's left.

Gabriel waved back at Ryan and asked the group in general "So where are we going to search?" Trip, who had picked up on the fact that something exciting was happening, was walking around Gabriel's legs with her tongue lolling out and tail wagging.

Julie looked across the table at Sandy. "Hey, what's going on for you?" She asked, thinking the other girl sounded a little upset about something and could use some company. Julie refrained from asking 'what's up' since Jamie was nearby.

Jamie had totally spaced out for a moment, staring at Paul. But when Geana called his name he looked back over at her, startled. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you need something?"

Sandy hummed and looked up as she heard a voice. She tipped her ehad to the side as she looked at Julie and said "What? Oh, hey..."

Geana hummed and sighed as she said "You were saying something about a pup?"

Daniel and Peter
He hummed and smiled as he said "Helo Gabriel." Peter hummed and smiled a s he wwatched Whsikey yip and sniff at Trip.

[Sorry for making y'all wait, I've been busy recently. Scoin's probably not going to be on for the most part through this month though - I feel like I should let ya know that]

Birch hesitated. "I guess you're right. It's just, he's been sending me these real odd looks every now any then. You too, though noticeably less." The man shifted his weight from one foot to the other and back again. "I don't think he knows the extent of our involvement with anything, little it may be, but he certainly has his opinion." The man mumbled. "Now laugh, like I told a joke." Roman would probably laugh because he had the mindset that Birch could never tell a good joke, but Birch was counting on that being true. The laugh would be real that way.

Teal rolled his eyes. "Oh please. Birch and Roman are totally conspirators, just not in the way y'all are thinkin'. I bet they're cooking up some plan to get even with Samuel for that incident two years ago. They're masters of revenge, I tell ya." Teal wasn't quite sure what the incident had been about but he had heard enough to gather it was some sort of prank gone wrong.
Sam was more hesitant, staring at Kingston oddly. "Whatever." He muttered in response to Teal. But still he cast a nervous glance over at the two standing off to the side. He knew what Teal had referenced and preferred it to be left forgotten and/or vague.

"Hmm... let me check." Tyde smiled lightly as he pretended to search his memory. "Oh, I know. We've each got a room for tonight here in the castle. Second floor, right next to each other. I'm going to head up in about ten or so more minuets, but if you wish to go now I can give you your key." If she chose to wait for him then he could show her to the room without having to give specific directions.

Brian thanked the King for his time, wishing they could stay longer but knowing other nobles were probably waiting patiently. Or impatiently, you never know. As he and his sister left the hall Brian was beginning to remember the layout of the building. Yet the best way was to explore and memorize once again. "Hey sis, I'm going to go off for a bit. Do you want to come with me? I'm going to see if I can find out who else has arrived yet." He still acted like he was just the King's nephew, not bothering with the restrictions placed upon the King's heir.

[I'm also going to start posting for a couple of the "forest spirits" as well to give their line a stronger part - would either of you care to take on one of their roles too?]
