When Henry had led both Lily and Ace into the room, safely behind closed doors, Lily was surprised to see that Grand was already there, pacing the floor with more severe of a demeanor than Lily had ever seen him. He turned toward them as they came in, "I came as soon as you called," which seemed strange to Lily since she hadn't seen Henry call him at all, "what's going on that you sent out a code blue?"
Henry roughly released both Lily and Ace, and she stumbled forward, so very afraid. She stepped closer to Ace, whom she felt at the time to be most akin to her in that situation: confused and frightened. She couldn't even attempt to control her powers at the moment, broadcasting her confusion and misunderstanding to Grand and Henry, and the other magical beings that had entered the room, all fairly powerful and all with serious expressions on their faces, and all who seemed to be able to completely ignore or block her questions and emotions, since no one addressed her fears. The whole atmosphere spoke of death to her and it touched her unicorn through her, and she pranced in fear, flashing somewhat into her true form. She looked to Ace for help coping, suddenly confronted with his true form, which she had desperately tried not to sense earlier, startling her: a dragon that towered over her, but looked sickly and tired. She whimpered (neighed?) in response to the unnaturalness of the thing that sucked his lifeforce, wanting to heal Ace and exterminate the thing, but having no idea how to do such.
