Flare noticed Ash's smile seemed to fade. He felt concerned, wondering wether or not he had offended the other cat. After all from what Ash had yelled at him one time, it seemed that he had cubs himself. Maybe they had died. Feeling guilty he stopped the light tone in his voice."Sorry if that offended you."he apologized sincerely."I've never had cubs and have yet to understand them."

Ash looked at him with narrowed pupils, and remained silent as they neared the caves entrance. Before stopping and closed his eyes, flexing his claws out one more time. Which seemed to be his way, in calming his nerves." want my advice? Never, leave your mate or cubs alone, do that, and you'll lose them forever...... I lost my cubs once, it isn't going to happen again", he replied.

Flare put his tail on Ash's shoulder, a gesture of comfort. He had never experienced the pain of loosing cubs as Ash had, but didn't want it. If he ever did have cubs he would watch them constantly and ensure they were safe, like Ash suggested."Im sorry about what happened. I know that it might not mean much, but I really am sorry." he wished the male would never have such a harsh experience ever again.

Ash twitched an ear, before shrugging his tail off. Once more returning to his old self, as he entered the cave. His eyes adjusting to the slight changing of light, before looking back at the tiger. He wasn't going to say 'thank you', because that wasn't him." just.... keep yourself to yourself", he said.

[Esther~]

Flare nodded at the mountain lion, glad to see that he had returned to his old self. He then passed him, looking for Midnight."I'll talk to you later."he through over his shoulder before continuing his search. He knew the panther must be nearby, this was the camp after all. He nodded a quick greeting to Zero as he passed her."Midnight."he called

Ash nodded back at the tiger, as he entered the cave. Before laying down next to blizzard, to make the other snow leopard feel more secure with someone she knew. He then heard Flare call midnights name, and sighed." she went hunting!", he called out to the tiger.

"Alright."Flare called back and sat down, waiting for the panther

Zero looked at Ash as he settled down by her. She had remembered the mountain lion as a hostile and rude cat, but now he had seemed to change. He even brought back a snow leopard he had saved earlier, which helped her and Zero considering they were the same species and could get along."Hello."she greeted him nervously

Midnight crept along a branch, silently watching her prey move beneath her. Making sure to choose the more healthy and solid looking branches, instead of the ones that would give her away. Also because it calmed her mind, from what Flare told her.

Ash twitched an ear, as he looked in the direction of Zero. Currently cleaning one of his paws, to remove a stone from in between his toes. Which only just allowed him to hear what the snow leopard said, and flattened one ear slightly." hi", he replied. Before turning back to his front paws, being careful not to cut his tongue on the claws hidden beneath his fur. Gently biting down on his paws, to remove any pieces of dirt that was currently irritating him.

Blizzard twitched an ear, from where she was settled on the cold smooth stone. Resting her head on her paws, to rest from the long journey to here.

Zero noticed that Ash wasn't very keen on talking. Perhaps he found it difficult to speak to others. She herself could be a bit shy at first, and she understood any issues he may have."Not very keen of talking, are you?"she asked in a light tone, hoping to make him feel more at ease. After all she would enjoy making friends, even if they could be rude at times

Ash just snarled a little in response, due to the fact that his teeth just connected to the twig in his paw that was annoying him. He then bit down and pulled it out, before running his tongue over where the twig once was. Stopping it from bleeding, he then flexed out his paw and allowed his muscles to relax. Now having nothing, that was currently irritating him. He then looked back at the snow leopard, and twitched an ear." I don't talk, to those I don't trust", he replied.
